Welcome to the I'm Still Fun Podcast with Fallon and Jenny. Hello. So I told Jenny, I was like, I want to do a video. So I texted her last night and I said, you know, dress in a way you feel comfortable. No, she didn't. She told me to look hot. I said, look, how you want to look for a video because there's been a day before in the past. We were like, I'm not doing a video on a day exutle and I said, I totally
get that because we all have shit days. And she goes, oh, it's going to be slobby on Monday, but okay, and I was like, oh, I'm sorry, do you normally dress up on Monday? You bitch? Excuse me? Oh? I just was like gonna go full on with like some lbones and all that stuff, because like I am today, Well yeah, because Dave's in Colorado, and when Dave's not here, I just like to take advantage of not looking as nice and not that I'm forced
to when he's here. I still wear leggings every once in a while when he's here, but like, I just very much don't care what I look like when he's not. I wear leggings like every single day, so I feel you, but here we are. We did. The reason we did a video is because I've been I don't know why. I'm not like an ASMR person, but I love the videos I've seen, like Kylie Jenner do it, Lily ryan Hart who was in Riverdale, and now this other girl. I don't even know who she is. I don't think she's famous.
I think she's an influencer on TikTok and it's probably they're showing me the videos now because I've watched the full Lenk video. Probably, but Lily ryan Hart from Riverdale, she'll get like she's done other cookies other than Crumble. Okay, she's done like Insomniac and stuff now, but she gets them and she has like the little microphone specifically to try them and eat them, and then she gulps her water in between. And I was like, I told Colt,
I said, do you want to do this? I go, I mean, they're doing it with you or with Jenny, And he goes, you'll get more views if you do it with Jenny. I hate to be that person to say duh, but like you probably will two women versus matter.
Yeah, but we I'm going to post the video on TikTok because it's like five minutes long, and so the full that I was going to go faull in kdew b TikTok and I'll uh tag Jenny she doesn't have to repost it, but she can't, and then I'm going to try to like edit it down on Instagram, yeah, because you only get ninety seconds on Instagram.
As we're like going and I'm like watching the time and it hits like three minutes, and I was like, oh my god, do people actually watch videos like That's like they do, they're into that stuff, and I, you know me, I just can't do the mouth noises. It drives the insane. Well that's why I said, I go, we're not going to do full ASMR. But we were. We did a little bit like quiet and but like, if it's your partner, you want to kill that.
God, no, it has to be someone else. No. I shared a meme the other day and it was of like a dog eating and I was like, oh, you're so cute, Oh my god, and then it's like, but you're partner eating, I'll fucking kill it. Literally lot more time, I texted Jenny, I want to just get it out of the way immediately. In the beginning, I was living for Travis Kelsey at the Taylor Swift concert. I am. I know that some people think
it's so stupid, who cares? And get them off my timeline. Obviously I'm a swiftie, but you know, I just love him because I love what he represents. I love that he is like like in a true man's man world, like the King of the Mountain, you know what I mean, because he is like a football star, the highest paid blah blah blah. And for him to just go and just like support her, We've never
seen that before. We've seen like guys go, of course and attend the concerts, but they stand there whether their arms crossed, and they're quiet. And I know not everyone is an extrovert, so it's a little unfair to like be like they should be so crazy. So I'm not saying like previous boyfriends like Joe were embarrassed or ashamed, but they didn't like the attention. I just like she loves the attention, So I like that he likes it that he like is just like her fan. You can tell you this and
know every word every song. He's not like crazy fanboy. Yeah, I loved seeing that, like his brother and his wife were I like two shows back to back, but him going on stage after she performed Smallest Man That Ever Lived or whatever it's called that blanking now, which is like her most heartbreaking song to him, like carrying her to do. It's just it was
so cute. I loved it so much. I had to go down like a little bit of a rabbit hole of like trying to get it all explained to me because I don't fully understand because that's like the new addition to her set and I don't get what like the songs are necessarily about and whatever. But yeah, it was very cute, and I feel like, Okay, I wanted to ask you this because you like love her so much and I like Taylor Swift, don't get me wrong, but I'm not as much of
a Swifty. Yeah, don't you think because he's been to a lot of her shows now, not like I not as many as I think a lot of people would. I think a lot of people thought since he's an off season he'd be it more, honestly, because I'm just wondering, like, is there a point where he's like all right, I'm gonna go get a drink. Now, I'm a little bit bored. Like I've seen this a
million times already. You know, I've said that before because I was like, it's different when you go to a football game, because it's different every time. But he really like he did the like a couple of shows he did, like his initial show in the US, you know, in Kansas City. Then he didn't do one in like South America, the super Hot one. Then he didn't go to any for a long time until I think he went to like an Australian show, okay, and then I don't think
he has gone to any others until Paris. And Paris is when she she had taken a break for like a month or two to release Tortured Poets, and so Paris was the first one where she kicked off the new set where basically she just cut a few, like handful of songs out of the other sets, and then she added Tortured Poets Department, and so most of that album the majority see me about Matti. Heally, it's a lot of heartbreak.
But her final one, the one he preps her for, is I can do it with broken heart, and that is like her song about how no one even knew that she had just been destroyed by Matti Heally, like people just didn't know it. I think they thought, oh, it's a
quick fling. They didn't realize it was like this thing she pined for for like ten years, where like it just their their timelines didn't match up, but they were into each other, and then he ghosted her, and so she's going out there every night that she can perform basically like a puppet, and no one knows she's miserable, and so it's I'm And also it was like the one year anniversary of our Twin Cities shows. Oh yeah, you know, but all the celebrities were there, like Tom Cruise, Greta Gerwig,
Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher the best one obviously. Her hard launch on her Instagram was with Prince William. Did you see that? She put William his two kids in Travis, So the first time Travis was on her like actual timeline, I like went to her profile after that because I was like, when's the last time she posted like not a photo that's like super professionally like doesn't on her concert tour. So I was like dang. But did
you see the video of Prince William dancing? Yes, yes, I did take it up yea, And I feel like rewatched it a couple of times, but it wasn't sure which one he was truly, I don't think it was him, yeah, first, and the memes were like King Charles would never like it's true, but you know what, William seems so stiff these days too. I was actually surprised to see him let loose, so good for him. I loved it. And I'm also very into, like everyone
else, Chapel Rowan right now. Obviously everyone's so obsessed with her and I love her. I saw she she broke down the concert a concert the other night and was just kind of like, sorry, I'm having like off night, basically admitting she's gotten so huge so fast. She's like, it's been a lot for me, like, and it's like, I'm sure people will be like, oh boo hoo, but she probably does feel like she was a little bit in the obscurity and had a very niche audience and now she's
being probably pulled in every direction. Yeah, because and you know it's funny. Tina and I laughed because she opened for Olivia Rodrigo. We didn't know who she was. Tina and I were like, oh, we don't all the openers, screw it, we're gonna go grab dinner. We skipped the openers and now we're like, we're the dumbest bitches ever. We missed like the next biggest pop star because we were like, man, we don't know them. And I discovered so many openers that like artists that way, so
why would I don't know anyway? So I missed my one opportunity to see her. I'm the same way. I always skip openers. I think Noah Kahan didn't go on till nine thirty or it was like yeah, like nine fifteen to nine thirty, So we got there at nine like I was not. I think the concert started technically at seven thirty, and I was like, no, yeah, I'll go out get there when Noah kan gets there. Don't care. Setlist dot FM is like the best thing that ever happened
to me. He didn't follow any of us setlists. Oh, it was really different. He started with dial drunk with post malone, well not postmolone wasn't there, but started with that and like the last songs, he ended with were not the ones that were like part of his encore, and so I was, yeah, it was all over the place from what the setlist had said. But okay, can we get to your trip now? Are talking about the other swift? I guess, I guess we can be.
Yes. We we went went to band National Park. We also went to Yoha National Park because they're right by each other. Also right there are a lot around that area. We drove past another I didn't even wasn't even on my radar. And then of course there's Jasper National Park that's an extra like hour the couple of hour drives, so we just weren't going to do it on that trip. But we had a really, really really lovely experience.
It really is as beautiful in person as everyone says, because the water's just so crazy, like this crazy blue from the glacial runoff and the minerals. But we like the first day, I had planned a ton, which is what I always do. I try to like you know, make the hardest stuff in the beginning and then like wean it off a little bit toward the end. So Day one was our best weather day too, So thank god I booked everything because it was like kept showing that it was going to be
rainy. I was like, ugh, So how it would work is like if you wake up in the morning and I need to get going, you know, first thing, but it'd be cold and kind of drizzly, and then around like noon or one every day, like sun would come out, and so I was like, ah, like, I don't want to wait to start my day till noon, So whatever, We're just going to do it. But they're like day one, we did the sunrise, so you
have to wake up at two am. I saw you. Yeah, It's like it's one of those things where you have to like get kind of like a lottery, like you try to you have to get the tickets in advance to get like the they call it the Alpine Shuttle. That's the first one. We go over to Lake Louise. You get on that's almost an hour away from Bamfftown. Most people stay in Bafftown. Then you get the shuttle thirty minutes because they don't like car go to Moraine Lake anymore. And then
you just sit there. So we're just sitting on this place called rock Pile Hardstone. It was like a weird angle. So my butt cheeks like leaning down, I'm tetting to a girl from Detroit. She was lovely. She's like, I've been in Minneapolis. I love High High and I was like, great restaurant. I was like, the chef just won, like the James Beard best Midwest chef. She's like, oh cool, and she's speaking a different language to her dad telling him that. I was like, oh,
okay, cool. But then we didn't get the ideal sunrise because I wanted, you know, the bright orange or pink to come over the mountaintops and reflect in the water. It just didn't do that. Yeah, And I think I would have sat there a lot longer not realizing it. And Jake's like, ballin, we can move on. If it does, it's going to be like hours from now. When I was like, oh,
but by this point, everyone's a stir because there's a grizzly bear. So yeah, and so I we're like, oh, let's go, like let's run to get the shuttle because the shuttle's weird too, so it drops you off at like four thirty and then you have to get back on before five or you don't get another shuttle until seven. And I was like, oh god, So we're like running down. We see the shuttle and this guy's like stop and we're like what. He's like, there's a grizzly bear right
there. We're like, oh, oh right, so we stop and then we're like taking pictures and stuff, and other people are waiting on the shuttle, but we're like, what is the shuttle guy doing. He's like, we can't go over to him. The bear is literally next to the shuttles, Like we can't cross over to get on the shuttle. So we're like waving the shuttle guy down. He drives around like okay, good, drives past us and leaves oh no, and everyone's like kind of like cold and
like ready to go, and nothing's open. There's no cell phone signal at Moraine Lake. So we stood there for like another hour just watching the grizzly bear until a shuttle came and all of us like hungry and cold. I felt bad and having snacks or anything for because it was like supposed to be a quick thing and all the snacks were in our car parked at the like Lake Louise. But then we did the big, huge hike and I'm not
going to go through every single thing we did. It was little bee hive and I don't know how Jake does it, but I will say this hiking was so much easier for me this time. Like I guess having lost weight makes sense, I get it. I just felt lighter. I don't know, like I didn't feel like I had to stop. I feel like the only reason I was stopping was literally for Jake, because you know, he
needed a lot of breaks. And I was just like, I wonder if, like there were some harder hikes we did, like at Yosemite that I couldn't complete, and well, thank god, Jake said he couldn't complete them because he was like, I can't do this any further with all of this one big one, and but I was, I wonder if I could do it now, Jonson, I'm pretty sure you probably could, And so that made me feel good. But it was awesome and people were like, is
it your favorite now? No, Glacier I think will just always be my favorite National park because there are so many different I mean, sure there's room for something to take its place, of course, it's just there's so many different landscapes in Glacier, Like one spot will be like beautiful wild flowers in a mountain, and then it will be like a crystal But like bamf was like, just so many beautiful blue lakes. And this is such a bitchy, bratty thing to say, but I feel like, after like five or
so of them, I'm like, I'm good, you know. Yeah, I mean, you don't see lakes like that very often, so I feel like when you do, you actually usually only see like one ish Yeah, so I can understand that. Yeah, And it was so I was so happy we did it and we all have like such a good time. I would highly recommend it. We accidentally got there the week before school letout because
one of the guys was in Bamftown or the restaurant. He was like, next week it'll be a lot busier because school will be let out here. I was like, oh, you guys get out later than we do. He's like yeah, and he was like this and it had It was kind of sucky for them, he said, this year because that cold, kind of chillier weather with rain had gone on longer than it normally would. So he was like, it's been a little frustrating for us too, like we
are ready for this weather to be gone. I'm like, oh, I'm sure so it you guys look like you were bundled up for like all the photos that I tell you. I also started my period day two. That was a week early. I didn't wear a deal at the whole trip. Yeah, you told you, tell me about this and you're like, maybe I don't need it, and then you're like, no, I do. As it turns out with the sun, I do need it, And yeah, I don't know. I think it was. I would definitely ten out
of ten recommend checking it out if you ever get a chance. We did like a flight deal. That's like the only reason we even booked it this year because we weren't going to do any national parks because we just did Jake's brother's wedding and that was like the family gathering this year. So very happy we did it, had a great time. It looks so beautiful. You would love it, I know. And my younger sister has a work trip
in uh. I don't know which Canadian city, but it's the one that's like right above the border of like Seattle, Okay, so whatever Whistler area, no, because Vancouver probably, I think it's Vancouver. So she is going to fly out early for to go to BAMF and then oh, okay, fly from bamp to Vancouver, and I was like, oh really, And I was kind of interested in like maybe going with her, so we kind of talked about it. I just don't think timing wise it's going to
work out, like where she's going and stuff. So I don't know that that's on the in the books for me this year, but now very pretty and someday I'll get there. Do you Did you end up booking a trip Yeah, out to Levenworth over the fourth of July. It's like a cute, little like German Bavarian town about two hours two and a half hours east of Seattle. Okay, okay, into the mountain. It's gonna do some hiking. Yes, we talked about like your big hike you're doing. Okay,
Yeah, Levenworth. When you say it, isn't isn't there a Levenworth Texas or something? There's something like that, because when you say it, I'm always like Texas, and then I'm like, no, this is her Washington trip. Okay, No, I'm not going to Texas. There's literally not a single ounce of me that no offense to anyone who might reside in Texas. Or love Texas except for as I heard, Austin's really cool. Austin's cool, but nothing about going to heat in Texas sounds fun to me.
I know that there's probably fantastic areas of Texas that are worth seeing, but for me, that is one state that is not on my like let's get here lists. Yeah, I've done Austin, Dallas, and Houston. Austin is the only one I would go back to, yeah, for sure. And I only went to Houston to visit radio friends, and I only went to Dallas to visit radio friends. I know. Yeah, I'm good.
So I this is a really random thought that came up. Okay, So I work out at a lifetime fitness that you're you used to train with someone there, yes, And I don't know why, but I was there the other day and I started thinking about the fact that your trainer. I don't know if I should get too specific. I won't say their name obviously, Okay, but how you had to explain to them one time how women
have three holes? Yes, so the first time you ever told me this, and we're obviously we're talking about the lady region down there, So the first time we're ever talking about this and you're telling me the story. I have to admit that I was very confused for a second. I was like, what do you mean three holes? Like I felt like I was the trainer in the situation. I didn't understand it because for the longest time,
I didn't think you were considering the butthole one of the holes. Yes, yes, yes, so I anyways, I had to confess that because I don't think I've ever confessed that to you. And it sparked a memoris at the gym recently and I saw him. He is like, because he is such a he is so into health and fitness, how are you so ignorant to not know women have two two holes in their vage area. Yeah, the p hole and the sex whole are different holes. People, It let
this be. You're like if you didn't know that, my god, and he and he's like, men don't know that. I'm like, yes they do. So I was like fuck that, you know me, I'm aggressive yep. So I was like you to random dudes, I'm like, how many holes does a woman have down there? And they would be like, we're talking about but hoole. I'm like, yeah, three and Jerome's like, oh man, and I was like, huh, it's Jerome. He doesn't care. I think at this point he's just used to be roasting him
on the radio and stuff. But I was like, see, Jerome, men do know it's just you that doesn't know when it's not just him. Lots of people don't know that, which is so bizarre to me. Yeah. No, And I guess it wasn't bizarre to me that he didn't know. But I truthfully was confused for a while because I did not think you were talking about butthole included. So I was like, wait, I know that there's two. What is the third one? Yes? And I think
I had to like actually google it. And so anyways, that just sparked a memory that I don't think I've ever told you that I was confused by that conversation for a while. I'm gonna call today's episode three holes. I like that, and to continue on that region of holes, Yes, gone, I just have to vent about something that I know cannot be changed. But when you go to a coffee shop, m h. Obviously there are often times you're drinking your coffee and you need to go to the bathroom because
that coffee is going right through you. Yeah, there's just like nothing worse about being in a coffee shop, vibing, working on your computer, doing whatever you're doing there, needing to go shit your brains up from the coffee. Yeah, and someone knocks because it's a one stall situation. I hate it. I the one place that should maybe have a few stalls, I would say, is a coffee shop. But I also know coffee shops are usually pretty small, and restaurants well, yeah, but a lot of restaurants
don't either. They have the one door like thing too, and it's like, come on, it's brutal. I just I had like, such just an experience where this coffee shop was very slow. I was there a week ago, and I'm like, someone knocks. I had just gotten in there and I knew what was about to go down and they were gonna have to walk right into it. Luckily I was in there long enough that I think they gave up. Oh my god, I did rush this. I don't
believe you. I did rush it because when I don't have access to a bidet it it does rush the situation because you shouldn't been on toil longer than five minutes for the record, Oh, I know, but my phone tells me different because I get lost on my phone on scrolling scrolly and that's how you get roy. Oh my god, I know. I'm very surprised. I haven't gotten any since I think I had one in college. Yeah,
because I spend so much time on the toilet. I mine's pretty much gone inside of me, which is like crazy because it was like I thought it'd be triggered from all the traveling and stuff, but it's not. And I'm like, thank god. And Jake was like, I think I've had one before and I was like really, and he's like, yeah, you know, you just you could tell if you like wipe or whatever. And I said yeah. And today he was like, going, by the way,
this is like because we're talking about holes and stuff. Yeah, today he made me laugh so hard. I made him laugh first. But he was like going into work and he probably won't want me to share this. He didn't want to go in. He doesn't usually go into the office, but he'll actively choose to go in, like maybe a Monday or Wednesday, so he's choosing to go in today. And I was like, just act like
you like, are going crazy. I go just flash your dick. Oh, just flash your dick, and they'll all be like, oh, Gottler's fucking lost it. But he's like he's having a mental break and I go he's like yeah, and I go, are you more scared about them laughing at your dick than them being He's like yeah, because he's like I think that they'd be like, what in the chewed up gum piece of shit is that? Like how many rounds and an ice bucket did he have to dip
it before to get that shriveled and inside of him? He's like not to mention that chewed up piece of gum. He's like, I haven't groomed in so long. It's like it's just hanging out of a horse's tail. Like you're fucking sick man. Because yesterday we took a shower together very quickly and I did. I go, Jake, like, trim your pube. You are a hairy man. It's too long, and he was like, you're you're absolutely right, like this is insane. I'm like, yes, it
is insane. It's despicable. So yeah, I love it. That was your idea though, of how he should just get out of being in the hotice. Well, he's a super progressive company, so I said, they wouldn't fire you necessarily. Yeah, they would look at it as a mental brain They did talk, Yeah, and they'd be like all right, you know, like are you doing okay right right? Did you back on like
the right track? And then they fire him. Yeah, but he said he might need to put in a ticket to HR first, saying he's having some like compulsive thoughts to get it like on their radar before he does it. And by the way, this is all sarcasm and jokes. Obviously we talk about mental health on here, so I don't want to like completely pit you. Now you talk about messed up stuff with your partner. Yeah, yeah, that's some of our messed up stuff, my stuff. Okay,
I can't speak, that's okay. By the way, Jenny, this week I should hit fifty pilates classes and at my studio you get to hold a sign that says you've hit fifty and you could just smile and get a picture with it. Oh, I've seen those signs, so I'm going to do it before. Yeah, I'm ready for it. You can post your picture if I like the picture of me. Yeah, but also my way before or after the class. I think you have to do after because you have
to complete the fiftieth class. People will be like, can I please just do it before so I'm not sweaty and disgusting in my pilates isn't a well, sometimes I sweat, but it isn't a super sweaty activity. It's like, you know how, like you'll do an ab workout and it's not like
high intensity. You're not running, but you'll get like the sweat on your brow because you're like for whatever reason, like I don't know, like the holding a plank just makes you I don't know if you do, but I like, no, okay, that's the kind of sweat you get in pilates. Yeah, So I don't know. I'm gonna like, I'm all about it. I'm gonna get my I'm gonna maybe i'll say, you know what, I don't want you to take it. I'd like to do a selfie so I can make sure I like my angle. I know, I seriously
don't know what it is. But it's like I know, I'm not gonna like the videos or pictures I get when someone's doing it for me, I just hate it. I took video of myself doing pilates the other day, and the only video I showed it was of my calves because the ones I my like, thighs are so thick and muscular, and I'm sure that I just don't like the way my butt inside of like my legs looking videos. Yeah, like, I just don't like it. So I'm like, I'm not gonna post it. I mean, I get that, but also I
don't need to post my workout anyway. It's not like I'm trying to be a fitness influencer, so I about that. I don't Okay, I don't post my stuff because I want to be a fitness and I kind of like more your vibe though you do like I use a more workout person. I don't know. I do a lot of mine because I think it's for me.
I always like to see different workouts that people do, and obviously my trainer is always throwing like random shit at me, so I like, I love to like share that, and I get messages from people being like, oh, I'm gonna try this now at the gym whatever. But I don't know, I like to see that stuff because I don't I've never done pilates, So I'm always curious, like what you're even doing in those classes because I know there's different kinds you should come to. One. I don't think
I have the strength that you have for those. Number One, you don't, okay, because I'm much stronger than you. I can take you out very easily. I throw you up, Jenny, I would kill you, okay, but I am much stronger. But I should be after like forty seven classes. But no, they're good. I say they're like comparable. I was talking to a woman yesterday and she was like, I think that like this new generation, they're less and maybe you might disagree with this.
I feel like our generation went really and I'm older than Eugenny obviously, but like we're really into the high intensity and their whole workouts. This generations more of like the bar and pilates kind of thing. Not that they don't do crazy ones too, but there is like there are always, you know, the ebbs and flows, because like when I was in my twenties, it
was they like early twenties it was zoomba, was it. Then it was like a little bit of spin and then like it got really into like those kind of I don't want to call it CrossFit, but like just the high intensity interval training kind of like classes were really really popular and they still are. But I'm so happy, Like pilates is popular right now, so the back could be my thing that I'm into. Yeah, it's like it's I also like it's like every age is in there and every body type and I
really like that. Yeah you know what I mean, Like it's like everyone feels good doing it. That's how I feel like a lot of the classes I go to at Lifetime aren't like that. That's good. Yeah, the first certain like Warrior Skulp classes that I just know are going to be so hard. Yeah, it's a little bit like more of you're a very good at yoga kind of person, which I'm not good at. But yeah I
do. I do like a class that's very inviting. Since you had your wrist surgery, yeap, is it easier to do things like like yoga or no? No, it's I would say planking positions are still I can do them, they're not like but I have a really hard time with grip now
is I don't know, I I'm so frustrated with my wrist surgery. If I being honest, Like, I know that they did everything right, but I just feel like I traded one pain for a different pain, gotcha, Like I there are just so many different workouts now that I can't do that I used to be able to do, but then I can do ones I couldn't do and now I can do them. Like it's just it's really weird. And so I've got people emailing the Morning show and talking about knee replacements
because I've got a really bad right knee. Also I should get a knee replacement, And I'm like, I'm not doing another synarate in my body right now because I just don't feel like I really don't know if the one on my wrist was worth it. I mean, I'm pretty sure the doctor said there's a chance i'd get arthritis pretty early in life if I didn't get it, so like, I'm sure in the end it was worth it, but
yeah, it's frustrating. I'll do like rdls at the gym and not to make this a whole workout podcast, but I lose the strength to hold the bar bell yep before I lose the strength to do it, because it's hard. That's how I like was when I wouldn't do more like heavy weight training with Drum speaking of him twice. Mine is, you know, my right wrist and I still have issues. It's only when I'm doing like direct weight
into it planks, It's much better for me to do play. I'll either have like my right hand and a fist or I just do on my forearms. But like, there are a lot of things and pilates, like on the chair where you like kind of like you have your hands on the back of the seat and your feet are on this pedal and you like push your butt in the air like into a pike yep, And it's the same kind of motion. It's basically just putting weight directly into that wrist and it really
hurts my wrist, so I just don't. And the same with like push ups. Yeah, it's hard for me to push ups with my wrist, my right wrist. Yeah, I whatever, I'm I'm over it. I do what I can at the gym, and I'm just happy to be there. Is where I'm kind of atouse and I'm just like cool. One thing I have to say quick because I just sat started seeing them promoting it is on Netflix. There's a new season of a show coming out, and I've never talked about this before, but I auditioned for it. You have the
mole. I know the season is coming out, it's been have been in the season I was on. So just the quick story was, I saw that they were looking for people sign up, audition whatever, put in a submission, submitted a video, whatever it was. It wasn't anything crazy by me. So I didn't produce some really awesome video. I just sent in a video, filled out a bunch of stuff. Got a call one night
and talked to this woman. She was one of the casting agents for quite a while and she loved me. So she's like, I want to get you on a zoom tomorrow. And so then I did like a thirty minute zoom and that zoom was supposed to be cut down to about like two to three minutes for them to present to the Netflix executives. Yeah, and then that's where people were picked from there. And obviously I did not get picked, but I like kept it really hush hush for a while. I wasn't
allowed to talk about it once I found out I didn't get picked. I think I I don't know if I might have told failin ahead of time. I don't know you were telling me, but I wasn't telling anyone because people I wasn't supposed to be talking about it, but I knew it was been
Las summer. I would have had to leave to go film it. And I just like, that is like a show I would absolutely love to be on because it's about challenges, if you win money whatever, Like I'm obsessed with Survivor right now, but I know for a fact, day one I'd be like, take me out. Yeah, I fucking can't do this. I cannot sleep on bamboo while the rain falls on me and freezing my ass off and there's dirt underneath my nails. No, I can't do it.
The Mole, yeah, you get grimy in some of the situations. But and also I know that like the old school version of The Moles. I think it's a decently different than the newer one that's on Netflix now because we just did one season that came out like two falls ago or something, So I'm really curious to see how the season is to see you by potential competitors spend. But also they do have to cast that show specifically on looks for a lot of it. I think because they ask questions of who do you
think the mole is? So it's like does the mole have green, brown, blue eyes, color hair, what color skin? Maybe they don't ask skin, they might honestly. Yeah, So it is a very wide variety of people. But I kind of want to be like, is there a blonde on there? Who's the blonde that like got my spot? I didn't get it? But exciting process and so I'm very excited to watch it on Netflix just to see what I maybe I want of this season because I've never
watched it. I know like a lot of people like it, so maybe I'll check it out this season because I haven't seen it. Yeah, it's I mean, I think it's a cool show. It's like obviously not like your drama reality TV shows. There's some drama because people like purposely sabotage to lose money to pretend like they're the mole and stuff, and you get frustrated because you're like, I want to win this money. But really quick, as we wrap up the episode, have you watched the second episode of House
of Dragon? No? I didn't watch it. Okay, what did you think? So there are two episodes out? Now, what did you think about episode one. I mean, all I can think about is the ending and how awful it was and how I mean, I still heard what happened, but I immediately put my hands over my eyes. Things started to happen.
But I guess I'm a little confused because I thought that they were trying to kill the guy who killed Yeah, but they were kind of yeah, they were, But then I think that they were like freaking out and they're like, let's just get one of them. Oh, okay, that's the vibe I got. Well, I did think episode two was better, but the first episode I was like, I did not like it. No, And I was like, I have to give up hope that it's ever going
to be as good as Game of Thrones. It's probably just not. And also they take so long that like I forgot half the storylines and the people I know, we yeah, when we sat down to watch it, literally we were like, we don't remember any of this. So we pulled up a ten minute YouTube video. Yeah, and literally did a full season recap real quick on like this ten minute YouTube video. That still was kind of
confusing going into the season winner. And I know that one of the great things about Game of Thrones in that whole thing is the shock value of like anyone can die. But maybe it's because I'm a parent now, I don't know, but the ending of that episode I thought was very unnecessary. Like I thought it was like that was like why yeah, and so I just kind of was like, we both and usually Jake is more open that like not death but like the shows than me, and he was even like,
yeah, just not gonna be as good as Game of throunts. I was like, no, So I did like the episode two better, so I hope it continues to get better. But yeah, that was I just wanted to get your thoughts. We actually both watched that shot. Watch. I gotta watch the second episode. I'll probably do it tonight. All right, Well, thank you so much for hanging out with us, and I'm glad to be back. Sorry we took last week off. Thanks for bearing with
us, and we'll be back again next week. We'll see you that
