Interviewing Andrea Ramirez IG: @Mextica

Andrea is a community taught artist based in Los Angeles. In this interview we talk about her journey of becoming an artist. We talk about how she created her artist name. She explains some of the history, traditions, and culture behind her art. We talk about “the rules” of becoming an artist. How sometimes we self sabotage and need to figure out how to unlock those barriers for ourselves. Andrea teaches yoga so we also get into the benefits and some history of yoga and the exploitation of it.  She explains the difference between actual fears and fears we create for ourselves and how recognizing those differences has overall benefited her career as an artist and a person.
