Canadian journalist Jeremy Appel joins the show, and he let me indulge my perverse need to talk about Canadian politics as well as the news media up there (did I weasel a cheap shot at Winnipeg in there? Maaaaaaaybe). Eventually I let him talk a bit, and we got into how he would handle sharing both studio space AND a Slack with Bill Maher, before getting to Real Time season 2, episode 14.
