But let's see, let's see, let's start it out. Let's not start out with crackstaff because I gotta search totally because it's the best. Yeah. So so we'll save Crackstaff and Tara. Why don't you lead things off here with Emily and Richard fighting in the house? All right, So Richard says Emily,

this feud of ours has now reached comical heights. That Charlie Chaplin himself would find hilarious, and he's dead. Charlie Chaplin is a comic actor, filmmaker, and composer who rose to fame in the era of silent film and is considered one of the film industry's most important figures. Did you guys ever see that Robert Downey Junior movie which one oh, where he played Chaplin? Yeah, stupid question. I'm sorry. They are back in rare form and you want to

miss pop culture. We're giving it to you. We're coming out hot because we're on the ball, ready to go. Nothing gets by us mind like a steel trap. Yes it is. You know. I think Chaplin mentioned on Gilmore Girls, because I remember I did like a weird Wikipedia deep dive on Chaplain not that long ago. But anyway, I never saw the Robert Downey movie. It was good. He really acted like him. I clearly didn't know who you played, Charlie Chaplin. That's my Oh my god. Waddled along like

a little penguin and it was great. A little hot me. Craig gave a hundred interviews about how much weight he lost and how much footage he watched and oh is there more to talk about Charlie? That was it. Oh my goodness, they found out his research that Charlie was really quiet. Yeah, I don't know, can't breath. That was it. We can move on? Hey, can we just move on? All right? Amy? do it. I can do Oh. I love this one. Okay, lor l Lucer downstairs with Kirk after he ran outside during his nighttare and landed in a bush. Hey, it's a party. What's everybody doing that, Suki lor l Hey good timing. Squiggy first of all, so funny. Squiggy reverse refers to uh Lenny and Squiggy from Lavernon Shirley. David el Lander portrayed him in the sitcom Laverna and Shirley.

David passed Away in twenty twenty. Squiggy was identified by the black curl in the middle of his forehead of black leather jacket and his distinctive nasal voice, which, by the way, Laverne has passed away, Shirley has passed away, Squiggy, but Lenny is alive. Squiggy's timing because it was always hilarious on Lavernon Shirley. He would walk in and say hello girls or hello after a joke. Here are some examples, Um, squirrell it wait, I didn't know we had examples? Do

we have? Oh? Clip, here are examples. Okay, I don't need the examples. And anyway, I liked la Vernon Shirley, but I was a Happy Days girl and uh, I would say Morkan Mindy probably more than Lavernon Shirley. Who can think sing that theme song? Lavern and Shirley theme song Easton. If you give me a little, I'll get it. God, it was a good one. Though, we're gonna make on our own. I knew good. Yeah, I really there needs to be more fifties diner culture antimes. I do, I

think not Happy Days more than lavern and Shirley. That's a good theme song. Yeah, Monday, do you say happy Day? It was say happy shit for you. In the very first season of Happy Days, the theme song was rock around the Clock. Oh, I didn't know that really, that is how did you know that was a copyright issue? Watched so much television as there were I'll bet you, I'll bet you the fee was too high. Yeah, that's a big hit song. So so there's Monday, Tuesday, Heavy Days.

It's an original song written by you know whoever? Right right? Yeah? So yeah, that's gonna save you a bundle. In the very beginning, it was rock around the clock. Yeah yeah, what was that Bill Hilly in the comments? Uh correct, thank you think so? Yeah, that's the payments to that state. No, thank you. They also had a brother in the first season that disappeared. It was never mentioned again. Who did Richie and Joanie? They had a brother that disappeared an

older brother. He was just never heard from again after season one for that guy. That's uh yeah, sad for that guy. Yeah, jeez, m happens happens. That's not h Danielle. You want to take this one? Yeah? Sure. The night I think I should. I think Luke is talking to Suki about and now I invited in. I'm kicking you, all right, Lucas. I'm sorry. It's bad manners on my part. I'm so sorry. Lucas talking to Suki about kissing loreli Um.

She knows, well, I think we should add Lucas talking to Suki about perhaps the greatest kiss in television history. She knows because Kirk said something. Suki call me Belinda, because my lips are sealed. Suki is referring to Belinda Carlisle songs Our Lips are sealed. Belinda Carlisle is a singer who gained fame as the lead vocalist of The Go Gos, which have sold over seven million records. That's a lot of records. Who wants to chime in on this?

I was songs you go, Danielle and I are going to say the same exa thing totally redid this and it was so catchy. Redid this with their sister, their sisters Hillary and movie. Yeah, yeah, it was like, I don't know, fifteen years ago that was, and so you know, it's crazy about it. My very first Wingo tango I've ever been to my entire life. They performed at No Way. Yeah, that's cool. What's this? Love the Go Gos? I'm like vacation all I haven't wanted. And that reminds me of Rugrats.

That was the like it started the Rugrats movie. Were they the queens of putting the top down and just blasting the radio? And yeah, they kind of were. And then remember we got the beat, we got the yeah, ye oh my gosh. Here was another one, Head over Heels, No Time. Remember that one? You want to know what's kind of sad is when you google, our lips are sealed, the Hailey and Hillary Duff version comes up first. First of all, what, yeah, it was good. I'm not gonna

lie Scott. I would agree that ain't right, and I do love the Deffs, right, Tara, I think it's your turn after that. It's like it's like when you when you when you google the out of towners or something up comes like the latest version, not the original. It ain't right. Count Dracula is a horror vampire in the novel Bram Stoker Um. Emily is referring to by Bram Stoker. Yeah, the novel by Bram Stoker. Um Emily is referring to

Dracula beings scary and quiet. I actually think they could have stepped that up, Like I'm Freddy Krueger, you know what I mean. Mike Myers, Mike Myers, Michael Myers. Mike Myers is in Wayne's World, Michael Myers is from House. What are the Halloween guy? Like he's always like lurking with like the creepy knife. Amy, I think you're up. No, I think it's Tara Be. I think Tara like I said, like I said, all right, Ssuki is asking Lorila off her and if her and Luke had sex, but they didn't.

Say grammar flag, it's Suki asking Lorila. It's she and Luke had sex? If her and Luke, Yeah, yeah, she terrible grammar. Whoever wrote what is happening? They made the correction. Thank you? All right, I'll read it both love Suki. Suki was asking Lorala if she and Luke had sex, but they didn't. Suki says, you know, was it on top of a table? Because I always thought it would be on top of a table, on top of a table. Oh like in Bull Durham. See that was a raunchy, yeah,

kind of fun movie. No, but I mean um and I actually played in Durham. So I played for the Durham Bullham first half Luke and Lauraa, we're gonna like have sex on the first right. But it's like the description of it was the level. So bul Durham is a nineteen eighty eight comic romantic comedy sports film. It's partly based on minor league baseball experiences and depicts the players and fans of the Durham Bulls, a minor league

baseball team in Durham, North Carolina. There's a popular passionate love seeing that takes place on a kitchen table between Kevin Costner and Susan Sarandon's characters Annie and Crash, and a bowl is thrown and milk is spilled on the table. Emily getting excited because Rory just agreed to go to Europe. That is just wonderful. I'll call Ralphie right away and tell him to bump another baptist. We'll have a wonderful time,

you and I. It'll be just like gig Laurel. I'm gonna use Your Phone Gig is a nineteen fifty eight music romantic comedy that I've never heard of about the conventions of Parisian society. In the film, gas Stone spends time with Madame Alvarez and her care free granddaughter. Never heard of it. At first, I thought it was a type one that it meant to say, Geelie. Remember that crappy ben Affleck. Emily is referencing the movie because of

the madam and granddaughter relationship. In the film, all right, fair enough, Rory agrees to go on a European vacation with Emily to run away from dealing with Dean Rory. So what is it? Henry James novel, Young Lady Acts Up and her family Ships Are Off to Your Henry James was an American British author. He is considered by many to be among the greatest novelists in the English language.

The novel Rory is referring to as Daisy Miller, which is about a young American woman traveling in Europe with her mother. There, she is accorded by Winterborne, an American living abroad, but in her since days, he's compromised by her friendship with an Italian man m mmmmm, Joba Jobla h. Who's up? I think it's me, Lorline. Luke trying to talk on the phone while he's well, he that's the type of phone while he is driving to help Liz

with the renaissance fair. I think, I think, I think Luke should have been pulled over and ticketed me, just to show a good example, because you know what, that ain't right. That ain't right. Get a speaker phone, ain't right? Um, And Loralae says, well, if it isn't Dean Moriarty. So. Dean Moriarty is a character from the nineteen fifty seven novel On the Road, a story about friends traveling across the United States. Um. He is enthusiastic about everything and

always willing to have a good time. He is also a womanizer who falls in love with women all over the country and marries three. Lorelai is referencing Dean because Luke is traveling across the US to help his sister Liz. M What a guy, What a guy? What a guy? Oh God, please say we're finishing with Tara miche we sure are all right. In the same scene, Luke and Lorela are on the phone and Luke is telling her he is heading to the Renaissance Fair to help his sister.

Liz m Lorelai says, very chivalrous of you. Luke says, yeah, I'm a regular Lancelot. Lancelot is a character from Arthurian legend from an Arthurian legend, typically depicted as King Arthur's close companion and one of the greatest nights of the round table. Jarren't Tuton, Okay, so let's get into some crack staff. What did they find. There's not really much on this one, but the phone number that Luke gave

out right, his cell phone number. Now this has to do with wa has no wait before you tell us this, Danielle, did anyone ever call you back? Straight ghosted? Not even a shot, not back, not a little nothing. No wonder maybe maybe the girlfriend or the wife got a hold of it first and wasn't buying it even with that sweet message you left. Okay, Scott, talk to us, tell

us that's all right. So that phone number I approached, it was just going to be like a five five five garbage number, right, So I approached the producers in the studio and I said, listen, you know, why don't we try to raise some money with his phone number. So, um, my brother in law, who since retired, was the head of pediatrics at Johns Hopkins University for thirty years, thirty five years, and he and my sister, my older sister,

were raising money for their new children's hospitals. So they were going around Washington, DCLA, all over the place, you know, hitting up the big donors to try to raise money. They eventually did it opened and it's a big success. But um, I did my little part, and that number

was linked to that fundraising effort. No way, So if you called it back then, twenty years ago, it would say like thanks for calling, you get you get me answering on the on the answering machine saying hey Scott Pattern and hey it's Luke Danes and all this and thanks for calling. This is you can donate money to John's Hopkins Children's Hospital in the following ways. Yeah. So,

and we raised a lot of money that way. So the fans were really And then I wonder when they switched it looks so crazy is they switched it, but the numbers still in there that the poor guy that has a right now, it's just some guy that the number some guy works at the racetrack. You know, I feel strongly we aren't the only people that have ever called it, and specifically not this week. I bet you he's gotten multiple calls this week. So does he just

not answer his phone ever? Don't know? Random number, random callers he doesn't return. I thought it kind of did it ring or did it go straight to voicemail? I felt like the phone voicemail ringing, right, but I think it was off, like it went straight to voicemail, Like you know, when your phone's off, do not disturb? Maybe, Danielle,

do you want to try it one more time? Also, he might be someone who doesn't check his voicemails, like I always check mine, but I have friends who are like, if you left me a voicemail, I'll never check it. I'm telling you it went straight to voicemail. That guy's phone is not on voicemail? Is so eight? Six? So right? Yeah? Last it's last decades? Is it six? So Connecticut? Did we decide? Yes? I think it is? Yes? Wow Connecticut? Its it rings? Maybe he'll pick up. Okay, so stressful,

it's so stressful, good, Danielle, she's shripping. He's never going to answer us. He knows we're up to no good. He's like blocking this number. Wouldn't that be really cool if Teddy Mellencamp answered. What would be really cool is if it said Luke's Diner when they answered good try. He's also not even sending it's a voicemail. He's just letting it ring. Yeah, yeah, it did not ring that many times before, So I think you were screened before. Yeah,

I agree. Well, anyway, there you go go. That's crack staff for you. That was a home run worth doing, right. I wonder if people remember in its first run, like, did they ever call all like people who watch back then? Of course they did, and then donated. I got it. I bet you there is somebody. I got an excited phone call from my brother in law saying, you know, your fans are really generous. We raised a pile of money off of this. Thank you. So yeah, yeah, I

better find somebody who donated back then. Yeah, to whoever donated, thank you, and they call us, will take their call. They're doing some incredible things at Johns Hopkins for kids.
