Younger younger than eighteen years old? Sixteen years old? How old? I've never seen this movie, but I've heard of it. Um, okay, we'll get the age right anyway. Elizabeth Taylor, Mickey Rooney who was a fantastastic actor, gosh um, Angela Lansbury who just passed away.
May she rest in peace? And Donald Crisp. The film is the story of a twelve year old horse crazy girl, Velvet Brown, who lives in a small town of Sewell's in Sussex, England. She wins the spirited gelding in a raffle and designs to train him for the Grand National Steeplechase. Uh. And we'll find out how old Elizabeth Taylor was. I think she was twelve because she was born in thirty two year old yep. Which, by the way, this was the coming up as an ex reference that I picked up.

It's in the line. I'm going to read it here. I just forgot. Don't anybody listen to me to get to that, forgot. That's why we gave this job to Scott. I'm gonna say the line, I'm gonna do it. The Mel Laurela I refers to is Mel Sharples, better known as better known for Mel, is a character in the long running sitcom Let's All Say It Together, Thank you very much. Boy. That was a tough hill to climb, right there, got the works. L could be very harsh and tough to deal with. So there he is holding
up a picture of Mel. There's Mel, There's Mel. I remember Mel. Well The diner is best known for its fourteen ounce cup of coffee as it as the sign shown and Mel's famous chili. Can you name the most iconic line from Alice? It's in almost every episode? What is it? Kiss my grits? You don't remember that? I didn't watch a show. I know, I didn't watch Alice. It wasn't I didn't. It's good it was. It was aware of it. I know. No, it was always nominated for something. I mean, it was a big show. I

Um, Natalie, small world, isn't it, Laura, Yes, that's really small, About the same square footage as that box they threw McCain in.
Oh that was like, yeah, me too, John McCain, the who's passed away, the former senator Congressman uh was held as a prisoner of war in the Vietnam War for five and a half years, um, by the North Vietnamese Army. Two of those five and a half years he was held in solitary confinement. And boy, he really suffered and they broke his bones and they tortured him, and it
was really that was not a good reference. Maybe that's why you took half of Let me go back and get your Yeah, yeah, that was the half nine and a half. Can I go back and give you a couple of fun facts about the show? Alice? Go right ahead? Yes, so okay. Alice's son was played by Philip McKeon in, whose real life sister Nancy McKeon is was Joe on
the Facts of Life. One more fun fact that might need to be fact checked, because I'm not a thousand I think Nancy mckein and I share a birthday no way great as do justin Timberlake and I. I believe Alice was some of Candice Cameron's first work. But someone needs to check that. I'm not a thousand percent sure, but I'm ninety like a couple of year in bowl.
Sure got alright, good so good stuff. John McCain was released from his captivity by the North Vietnamese on March fourte three, along with a hundred and eight other prisoners of war POWs as they were known. And I'd like to say the McCain family right now, thank you for your service and your sacrifice. Luke yelling at Ed, getting annoyed that he's cutting it close to the game with the free tickets Luke gave him. Luke, boy, you're a real master of fear there, Ed. Look out Jason and Freddie.
Ed may never mooch off either one of you ever again. Let a line uh. Freddie versus Jason is a two thousand and three American slasher film. It is a crossover between the Nightmare on Elm Street and Friday Thirteen series. The film joins the two series in a shared universe and pits their respective antagonist Freddy Krueger and Jason Vorhees against each other. Same conversation with Luke Loreli pointing out
Luke has been grumpy for the past few days. Lorela, days, You've been stomping around barking at people for days, Laurel, Luke, Sorry, I have not, Lorela, Yes, ku Joe, you have, Luke, I always talk to people like that, Laurel. I know, Benji, you don't. You didn't you don't, uh, Luke, I'll be fine tomorrow, Laurela. Really, last see, I guess that these dog references are apropos I suppose because I knew Kujo was foaming at the mouth a lot. I remember that film.
It was almost like Coujo made sense, but then Benji and Lassie felt like she was just trying to calm him down. I think he's he is loyal and as regal as Lassie. I think that's what I got from it. Thank you, and Benji. I don't even know what that referenced me. What is Benji? Benji was the dog Benji Vengji b b Benjie. No, that's big. Benji was just a really cute dog. Alright, Kujo is a ninete psychological horror novel by American writer Stephen King about a rabid
saint Bernard. Yeah, Yeah, was no freaking joke. Benji nut Bingo Benji is a small, lovable mixed breed dog with an uncanny knack for being in the right place at the right time, usually to help somebody overcome a problem. Uh. He has been in the focus of several movies from seventy four through the two thousands. Lassie is a fictional female rough Collie dog and is featured in a short story by Eric Knight that was later explained on a full length novel called Lassie Comes Home. There have been
twelve Lassie movies made. Um, Laura I referring uh, sorry, Laura like calling Luke famous dog names because she said he's been barking at people for days. Okay, Emily is upset. Rory is going to go on a date. Emily, you will not dress her up in one of those Sex in the City's ensembles, Louraly, how do you know about sex in the City? Sex and the City was a Hitte would wear a Sex in the City outfit because

You've got the floor because I'm oh my god, I'm happy too, and I'm totally ignorant on the subject. Number one Sex City, this series, amazing fashion, iconic Sex in the City movies. Look love it or don't love it? The new Sex in the City that's called am just like that. It's bringing the fashion too. I spent a shocking amount of
money trying to find the same turquoise necklace. I seem to have an obsessional turkoise nex Sarah Jessica Parker wears actually searching from my wife. Yeah, Backs in the City had so many fashion trends, like, oh my god, it was brilliant, device brilliant. Yes, it was on it about the same time. Yes, anyway. It was HBO hit show from nine to two thousand and four, starring Sarah Jessic Parker, Cynthia Nixon, Kim Catrall, and Kristin Davis. At the time of this episode, Sex in the City was in its

got me on that one. Emily is referring to sex in the City's ensemble outfit in a negative way because women on the show dressed more promiscuously according to Emily standards, but in fact it was an iconic fashion forward show. Yeah, they didn't dress like rampily. M m m m m m mmmm. Alright, so Natalie's talking about a bench. They found a dragonfly and Suki. I Love Little House on the Parade? Jacket Dog? That's says, yeah, boy, that's a reference and a half and that was a lot of a lot, okay, Laura La explaining the first movie short from called The Arrival of the Mail Train or the Arrival of Mail Train. Laurela, Okay, just one more warning. When they showed the first motion picture over a hundred years ago at Feast your train rushing towards the camera, and people were so sure the train was going to burst off the screen and crush them that they ran
away in terror. Now, Luke, the train is not going to leave the screen. Okay. The Arrival of Mail Train was the first film that only lasted fifty seconds and cost panic because nobody had ever seen a moving photograph before. People were scared and moved out of their seats to the back of the theater. I never knew this, but I guess that makes sense.
