to read. Fatso is a nineteen eighty film starring dom Deloise and Bancroft as an actress known as Missus Robinson. Dustin Hoffman in the lead, having an affair with Anne Bancroft, and Murray Hamilton is her husband, the guy who played the mayor in Jaws, Who's a divine, divine good note, divine actor. Listen to all you young UN's out there, Listen to this. Get watched the graduate. It is a brilliant movie. Mike Nichols, I think Buck Henry wrote it.

Mike Nichols directed it. Brilliant, brilliant film. Um anyway, and and the casting of Dustin Hoffman was very controversial because it really broke the mold of what a leading man could be. Because they saw Redford for the role, they saw Newman for the role, and Mike Nichols was like, Nah, I want to go with Dustin Yeah, smart, yeah, bancrupt, but you keep going now No, no, no, no, it's Tara, Tara, Tara. No,

So Zena Walker did the best Ovilia I've ever heard because it was a BBC radio production with Paul Scholfield. I don't want to burst your bubble, but Glinda was played by Billy Burke, not the one that was on.

He's first atle and he's much older than I realized. Margaret Hamilton was the one that scared me. Um, Danielle, I think you're up all right. Jesse's Luke's tape player and starts the press play. Luke jumps to stop him because he is listening to his love tapes. Um and Jess says, what's on the playlist these days? I'm guessing Jethro Toll or Jethro toll Um. I didn't know this, but Jethro Toll is a legendary rock band and they have sold over sixty million records worldwide. I've heard of

Jeff ros Bungle in the Jungle. I can't name one song as a brick, you can name all those songs. Oh, he's legendary. This guy. He played the darn flute. Is he a Jeff ro Well the lead singer and the writer, the leader of the band. His I don't think his name was Jef ro Tall. That was the name of the band. Okay, it's not like I think his name is Ian something. Oh wow. But he but he sang and he played the flute and they just had a

kick ass band. That's a great like Lizzo. Lizzo before Lizzo. Well, that's not a the comparison there, that's not Lizzo plays the flute. So, first of all, when I first saw that, I thought Lord of the Dance. That's very different. That's a lot different. Yeah, look good. So Lords of Flatbush is in nineteen seventy four film starring Henry Winkler and Sylvester Stallone. Also, I never knew they made a movie together. Paul Mace and

Perry King. The group of friends wore black leather jackets. Sound familiar. Henry Winkler got into rumbles, stole a car, and cut school. I love Henry Winkler. I'm very confused because this was like right at the time the fawns came around, So it sounds like that's how that's how he got the part. I guess right. I don't know. I know that American graffiti was sort of a thing with that Ron Howard did, But Henry Winkler, and I've said it once, I'll say it again, is the nicest

person all his interviews, like he just did. I think it was the was the last words of the Globes, Like all his interviews, he was just so sweet. And then he's on TikTok with his like Grandy, it's so sweet, nice,

His family is so nice. These people are amazing. But I tell you, if you ask one hundred people in Hollywood who is the nicest person in Hollywood, ninety nine will say Henry Winkler, and maybe the other one will say Ron Howard, like literally and John Ritter when oh yes, and they were all so close, they were all such and his son is a spectacular actor. And Jason Ritter is Yeah, he's a great guy. I did a series

with him. I just you. Oh, yes, was he on the one where there was the lead in the event? One second there's a guy running around the background and he was discovering this kind of thing. I know it was a jogger that came up the street after we saw the guy scrambling around behind. Okay, yes, and it's like Kirk walked in. There's like five am. The diner opens at what time? Five or six? Probably six? Yeah, okay, so no, it's

it's later than this. No, it's the next scene it is. Oh, okay, So so look for look for a guy running around the background. Look at you, Scott, that's you. You. I loved her little jacket. There's wearing heels at five total heels, but she's also wearing such a cute kind of bomber jacket. He picks her and the pencils. When so when Kirk comes in, I think there's something. There's a dude running around back there. Maybe it was just an extra getting

a newspaper. And that's fine though, That's good extra work because that would be happening at that time. Maybe we're watching everyone. Oh I thought I saw a person that might have been a ghost. I love everybody that's listening is just listening to us watching television or this is this is the phenomenon, right, this is why we get this is an award winning podcast.
