In the conclusion of the first section of the Hillside Teaching (Mat. 5:21-48), Jesus establishes His authority as a new Moses with giving instruction on a mountain. He illustrates 6 ways a Kingdom-centered disciple could apply the law in their lives. Through this teaching, Jesus isn't adding to the law or abolishing it, but rather pointing to a whole embodiment of God's revelation.
