Episode description

Vitamin E is a fat-soluble vitamin with several forms. Vitamin E is a group of eight fat soluble compounds that include four tocopherols and four tocotrienols. Alpha-tocopherol is the natural form, the only one used by the human body. Vitamin E has antioxidant effects, protecting cells from oxidative damage by neutralizing harmful molecules called free radicals (which are thought to lead to cancer). Think of it as a free radical scavenger.  Tune in to learn more benefits of Vitamin E, symptoms of Vitamin E deficiency, who should supplement with Vitamin E, and how to get it!
