Amie describes herself as a “Motel Patel”, which until now I thought was a made-up term from Bollywood! Growing up in Florida as part of a traditional Gujarati family, Amie was fiercely independent. She carved her path from working at premier financial institutions in the world such as Goldman Sachs and Soros Fund to now leading an impact investment firm working to improve the lives of low-income communities in LatAm and India.
