Episode description

Andrew English

Generally speaking we don’t discuss geopolitics or regional conflict on the podcast but an opportunity came up to speak with my friend Andrew English who happens to have spent many years as a young man working at Rupley and RT, the Russian state-controlled international television network funded by the Russian government. He is now the Founder at Gos4 Media where he produces cinematic style epic video campaigns for leading brands.

Disclaimer

For this episode, I just want to note that both Andrew and I are deeply sensitive to what is happening in the Ukraine and our deepest hopes and aspirations are with the Ukranian people for a peaceful resolution of the conflict and for a swift Russian withdrawal as soon as possible.

I have removed all promotions and ads for this episode given the serious nature of parts of the conversation. Also, I want to personally apologise for some insensitivity on my part for promoting the launch of our new Humans of Purpose membership offering during such a challenging time.

As a final disclaimer, Andrew and I are not experts on history, politics or this conflict nor do we purport to be. We are two friends discussing our perspectives and personal reflections on a very difficult situation.
