Richard J. Kramer, MD, AGAF graduated in 1972 from The University of California Irvine School of Medicine with an MD after 3 years pre-med at UCLA, receiving multiple awards and scholarships at both institutions. He completed his internship at Harbor General Hospital, Internal Medicine Residency at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, San Jose, California, and GI Fellowship at Stanford University. Subsequently, he practiced GI in private practice for 25 years in the San Jose/Los Gatos area.
