1. Welcome to Humanity Unlocked!

It is clear we are living in unprecedented times and we are more divided than ever as a human race. This needs to change and that is the reason for this podcast. Over here, in my little corner of the universe, I have friends, relatives, and acquaintances from all walks of life. What I know is this. The more I know about a person’s story  the more I understand why they do what they do, think what they think, and say what they say. And the greater my understanding is, regardless whether I agree, the more profoundly their humanity appears. Through raw and honest accounts of ordinary struggles that most can relate with, to extraordinary trauma that many have endured, we aim to offer both insight to those who may lack awareness (including myself), as well as a sense of community for anyone experiencing something similar.

Whether it’s a person’s upbringing or childhood trauma…their marriage or divorce…perhaps it’s cultural or religious differences and beliefs…or maybe it’s a battle with chronic illness or mental illness…it could be struggles with body image…with sexuality…with domestic abuse…perhaps it’s financial challenges…or substance abuse…maybe it’s raising or co-parenting children…the bottom line is, we discuss it all.
