Episode 4: Lily Chalmers Speaks

I am interviewing my own mother in this episode, who is brave enough to face herself in the mirror and share her story of becoming an American.  As an island girl from the Philippines, she shares her perspective for living in the US.  Since recording this episode, she has shared how she trusts herself to be resourceful, especially during stressful times – all from what I revealed is evident in reading her face.  Listen to the end to hear what I learned from her, even as a child, that humanity needs most.
