How to Process a Song

You’ve found a musical piece that you want to teach to your students.  You might know exactly what you want to do with the piece, a slight idea or no idea at all.  It may be a piece you heard recently at a workshop and want to find a way to incorporate.  Or a song you came across in a resource, but need some time to figure out what you want to do with it.  Here are seven ways to process a piece that you want to teach!
