Welcome to How the Money. I'm Joel and I am Matt. And you are here because you want to know what this show is all about, so we'll fill you in on what you're getting into if you decided to listen to our podcast. Yeah, so, we are actually best friends who love talking about money, Joe and I. We've been friends for a decade and this show spraying out of our our mutual nerdiness of enjoying personal finance discussions in our friendship. Though it has spurred us on towards handling

money well, and we want you to join us. Yes, we do most money shows. They can be kind of hard to follow, too much inside baseball talk, but we approach money in a jargon free way. We want to help you think about money in a more positive way while offering you tangible advice to help you get your personal finances under control. That's our mission. Also, we drink a craft beer on every episode, one because we love beer, but also because we think that it is so important

to be balanced in our approach to our money. We won't encourage you to deprive yourself of everything you love in order to build up some solid savings. We want you to enjoy your life and spend money on the things that you actually love and care about while you're being intentional about saving and investing for the future. So if you're wondering what topics we cover on the show,

well lots of them. We talk about everything from what you should do about your student loans and how to approach big purchases like buying a home, to entrepreneurship and the psychology of money. Matt and I. We also interview other interesting money experts, We take a listener questions, and we tackle how current events impact your personal finances too. Yeah, and all of this is in an effort to bring you the most interesting and engaging personal finance show around.

So thanks for checking out the show. Yeah, we hope it provides you the knowledge to make smarter money decisions as well as the inspiration to develop great money habits for years to come. So we hope you enjoy how some Money and don't forget to hit the subscribe button so that you can level up your personal finance knowledge with us three days a week. So, Matt, let's end this like we do every episode until next time. Best Friends, Best Friends Out
