57. Living A Valued Life
Episode description
Do you know what you truly value? It’s so easy to live life on auto-pilot, feeling a little lost and unfulfilled but unsure why. One day you wake up and realise you’re so far down a life path that doesn’t feel you’re own, that you don’t know how to change.
My guest today, Laura Greenwood, is a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist for the NHS in the UK. She works with her clients on discovering what their values are, helping them to move toward a life that feels aligned to those values, while growing or maintaining a sense of mental wellness.
If you’ve ever wondered if you know what your values truly are, Laura shares some strategies on how to figure that out.
In this episode:
- What does it mean to live a valued life and what are the benefits, for us and our families?
- How to figure out what your values actually are
- Moving towards aligning your life to what your values are
- What to do when you experience significant life change that impacts your value system and what you hold dear.
