Episode description

Do you know what you truly value? It’s so easy to live life on auto-pilot, feeling a little lost and unfulfilled but unsure why. One day you wake up and realise you’re so far down a life path that doesn’t feel you’re own, that you don’t know how to change.

My guest today, Laura Greenwood, is a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist for the NHS in the UK. She works with her clients on discovering what their values are, helping them to move toward a life that feels aligned to those values, while growing or maintaining a sense of mental wellness.

If you’ve ever wondered if you know what your values truly are, Laura shares some strategies on how to figure that out.

In this episode:

  1. What does it mean to live a valued life and what are the benefits, for us and our families?
  2. How to figure out what your values actually are
  3. Moving towards aligning your life to what your values are
  4. What to do when you experience significant life change that impacts your value system and what you hold dear.
