10 tips for Continual Integration
- CI should take no more than 10 minutes
- Reverting the changes should take 10 minutes
- Use TDD if possible
- Keep commits simple and small
- Monitor the pipeline
- Don’t leave broken builds
- Run the pipeline locally first
- Keep your branches up to date
- Failures should be addressed immediately
- Don’t confuse CI with CD
