Episode description

Joseph Pearce is a prolific writer, having published more than twenty books on spiritual topics surrounding major historical figures such as Shakespeare, C.S. Lewis, G.K. Chesterton and Alexander Solzhenitsyn. As a young teen in Britain, Joseph was drawn into the fascist group the National Front and by 16 was editing and writing materials for them. He was imprisoned twice for inciting hatred, and on the second time, realizing his activities really didn't reflect his ideals, changed direction. Inspired initially by the writings of G.K. Chesterton, Joseph converted to Catholicism and has been a leading writer and thinker on Catholic and spiritual issues ever since.
