¶ Patient Check-Up and Morgue Visit
Hi, would you be able to grab me a copy of Danny Lane's chart? I'm following up after a talk screen and I just want to check her kidney levels. Yeah, sure. Give me one second. Hey, how are you? Here you go. Thank you. Huh. Danny's liver levels actually look good. She might not need a transplant after all. Wonder if she's awake yet. Room 204. Here we go. Guessing that's her dad asleep in the chair.
Maggie saw me. She was in the room, but then she disappeared. Okay. This is why I should not leave the lab. She made eye contact with me. She said she was going to stick around, but that'll give me nightmares. It's not like I was able to sleep last night anyway. I didn't get done surgery until almost six in the morning and then I had to be back here at nine. I should have just slept in the doctor's lounge. Waited until they called me in for a case. God damn it.
I'm back at the morgue door. Finally got the keys this morning, so unfortunately I can unlock this myself now, which means Maggie could be waiting for me in there. She can't hurt you. She can't do anything to you. Hello? Hello? Maggie? Uh... She can scare the shit out of me, though. Maggie, if you're still here, I know we left things on bad terms and all with me cutting out your organs, but I swear it's not me you're mad at, really.
Hello? Oh, yeah, this is him. Ow. I completely forgot about Grand Rant. I'll be right there.
