Houston passes Indigenous People's Day

On Wednesday September 30 the Houston city council, by an almost unanimous vote, passed the resolution for Houston to join a growing number of cities and states across the country now officially observing Indigenous Peoples day as an alternative to Columbus Day. AconC (Angela con Courtney) spoke to Houston artivist Bianca Rivera who was one of the main advocates over the last several years to push this through to its passage.
