Ashley Beedle is a DJ, producer, remixer and a member of legendary dance music outfits X-Press 2 and Black Science Orchestra. Educating himself about music production by reading the sleevenotes on vinyl albums from a young age, Ashley became involved in sound system culture and was eventually introduced to this new sound called house. After hooking up with Boy's Own founders Terry Farley and Andrew Weatherall, Ashley became an integral part of that collective and had a hand in producing some of house music's most iconic tracks. In this chat we talk about those fateful meetings during those early years, get his thoughts on the scene currently and discover what projects he has coming up in the near future.
