Today, we talk about the crisis of courage in our culture. When we lose our courage, it gets replaced by fear– which causes us to get overwhelmed, anxiety, and paralyzed in our own steps. In order to combat life, you must be conditioned physically, mentally, and spiritually. You can choose to be the victim of your life, or the hero– and to be the hero of your life, you need to reclaim your courage to better condition yourself for the realities of life.
It's important to understand that no one can cause you stress, only you can give permission for people to cause you stress. If you have people in your life that stress you out, our giving the gift method is something you need to hear.
When you want change in your life, you have to all in. Going half in, a quarter of the way in, or dipping your toes in the water just doesn't work.
Just like how dribbling a basketball between your legs creates space, we need to create space in our physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. The more space we create, the bigger the opportunities are and the bigger your world becomes. Don't become overtaken or limited by a small crowded space.
Having power doesn't mean having authority, but it means having the power to be in control. Being in control of your life, decisions, emotions– a not allowing fear or depression or other external factors to affect your life. Go out and have the power of happiness!
I hear it all the time, “I just don’t have time.” If you want to make a significant change in your life, you HAVE to find time– there is no way around it. For you to find time and pursue the commitment to change, you have to set urgency.
There's a lot of science flaring around right now with a lot of buzz words– especially with rewiring your brain. It can get overwhelming and scary when we hear things like this. However, what we should actually be doing is rewiring our reality,
The line from the victim of your life to the hero of your life is not linear– it is not a straight path, but a path with noise.
Before our feet even hit the floor, so many of us are already under a victim mentality– negative thoughts such as: how am I going to do this, what am I going to do, etc. Instead, we should be hitting the floor running with a hero mentality– positive thoughts such as I can't wait to, I look forward to, I'm excited for, etc.
