Lake Cortez is a 245 acre lake in Hot Springs Village, making it the 3rd largest lake inside the Village. Only Lake Coronado at 380 acres and Lake Balboa at 944 acres are larger. There are 11 lakes inside the Village.

Four of the 11 lakes at Hot Springs Village are perfect for all types of water recreation, allowing for fishing, swimming, and water sports. Lakes Balboa, Coronado, Cortez and DeSoto all have a boat ramp, picnic tables and grills. – ExploreTheVillage.com

The Pavilion is located off Carmona Road just off DeSoto Blvd. It features covered picnic tables, fireplace, grills, and restrooms. Fishing, swimming and water sports are permitted on the lake with a speed limit of 30 mph.
