Transcript

Hi everyone, and welcome to Hot Cakes. We are three sisters serving hot cakes as we recap every episode of the Kardashians. I'm Christian. I'm Morgan. I'm Noel. And we, we are the Barry sisters Wow. That was, That was better. We're getting there. That was our best yet. Yeah. Oh gosh. This episode was fun. So we're season two, episode three.

It's titled, We're Built For This. We got a special guest and we got to see a little bit of two of our fas, mj and Mr. Scott, who we talked a little bit about last week, per usual, along with all the fun, there was some drama as well. But before we get into too much, we're gonna play yay or na and stand out side pieces. Yay. or na. But before we jump into that, I'm gonna, um, I want to cut in and talk about Scott since we did this at the top of last week's episode.

Yeah. I literally, in my notes I have Scott with like exclamation points. I was so happy to see. And he looks good. He looked great. Yeah. I just felt like it might have been something bigger, you know, like seeing him for the first time. Mm-hmm. it was so, I know it, me think, well, we're gonna play, we're gonna play a new segment, stand outside pieces tonight. But I, it makes me think that he is now officially just a side piece. Right. Which is sad because I wanna see a Scott storyline.

Yes. To be honest. Yeah. I agree with that. We'll get, we'll get into that. We'll definitely touch on that, but we are glad that we got to see him. We were, We loved it. So happy. Okay, so yay or nay, we're gonna start it off real hot, real steamy talking to your grandma about your sex life, That's a nay for sure. Let me just say it's a nay. Talking about my sex life, but has my grandmother talked to me about her sex life before? Um, yay. What? She has a particular Oh, yes.

It depends on the grandma. I know what we're referring to now. That's true. She is not afraid to talk. No. Yeah, she did have eight kids, so Yes. Respect. Yeah. What else do we think is gonna happen? Speaking of grandma's. Okay. Martha Stewart. Yay. Orne. What do we, what's the question? As person, just general. General, as a person, individual, what do you think your first thought, yay or na are we? For her, I've say, Yay. Yay. Um, what are you Not for her.

I'm for, I'm just like, you're against, I'm kind of indifferent. I thought it was like very random, but I. If Chloe's yay for her. I guess I am too. I love what Chloe said about her. It's like, I like the food, I like flowers, I like animals, and I like someone who doesn't snitch. So. Yep. Yeah, she's so what's not to love? I think Martha Stewart for like Chris's generation and probably even like our mother was probably a big deal. She was the thing.

Yeah. She was like the IT girl for a long time and. She is impressive. Um, I thought it was funny, like her face is like completely frozen. I looked like emotionless. 81 years old. My gosh, what a woman. And she was, her outfit. Did, did anyone notice her outfit? She like had these leggings on that had a little bit of shimmer to em, like platform shoe. She wishes. I was like, Wow. She dresses like 10 times better than I ever have. Okay, so we're yay for her.

Yeah, we're, yay, We're we're, Yay. Maybe we can be as stylish as her when we're. Would love that. I so I, that factor, I was impressed cuz I had to look her up after Chris was like, she was getting around so well, I was like, well how old is she? And I was like, Oh my gosh. Yeah. Yeah. She's in her eighties. Yeah. So. Okay. What do y'all think? Yay or nay? A pet bird? It's a hard nay for me. Nay. I'm a big nay. Well, who knew peacocks could fly. Did I Did that? Us know that? I had no idea.

I did not. Learned a lot about people. Like I said, that think it was kind of confusing to me because I was like, Wait, did she let it go? Cuz didn't he like bring it out of the fence for her? Was she supposed to like hold it was a, a leash? My thinking is that it was maybe on some kind of leash cuz it looks like they were gonna take it for a walk and then it just flies off. And Chloe chases as Yeah, I, I mean like, how's I gonna catch that? She's just gonna grasp or feather.

And then pull the feather out like, Oh yeah, that was pretty funny. That was a good one. Okay. Yay. Or Nate, do the Kardashians have talent That was a, that was a topic. That's, that's a yay for me. What's their talent? Well, it's like, okay, if you're thinking about it in terms of like, can they sing, can they dance then no. But like, I can't do those things either. But I have, Kim was on Dancing with the Stars. Gosh, she was, Shouldn't have been, but.

Like everyone has talents, you know, that doesn't mean I can be a professional singer or a dancer. You know, their talent and their skillset is in business and social media. Yeah, I would agree. I, I fully agree with that. Yeah. But I guess, I guess to the question, do they have talent or are they talented? I would probably say no. But I did like the way, and I've never even thought of it this way. I liked the way Chris. Would PE no one's asking, Why is Jeff, you know Jeff Bezos? Mm-hmm.

does he have talent? And I'm like, Well that's, that's actually a good point. Granted Jeff Bezos doesn't have a reality show. Um, but yeah, but I, and so I think that's what part of it is. It's like, why do we love watching these people? Cuz they're not performing, They're not, you know, doing anything other than just living their lives. But we are obsessed with watching them live their lives. Mm. Um, but I would agree with you, Morgan.

Their talent is Absolutely, and Chris says it as much like they're talent. They are absolutely talented business women. I don't care who you are or what you say, like yeah, they are talented business women. Yeah. I've had this. Argument multiple times going to bat for them. All these people that talk to me, they're like, Oh, you like the Kardashians? Why? Like they can't do anything. I'm like, You make a millions dollars business, make six of them too. Like that's my thing.

So I agree with you guys. I'm glad Chris finally like confronted that question for herself. I loved that. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. She's obviously a talented manager. Yeah, right. That's true. She can juggle people and they are, yeah, they're talented with people. Yeah. They have great personal skills and people skills. Yeah. So let's play our new segment, stand out side pieces. Ooh, This is a new one.

So throughout all of the episodes this season, I feel like in each one we get little snippets of certain people. for example, like Scott, we just got a little blimp of him. Loved it. So who was your favorite side piece that you saw or heard from in this episode? For me, it has to be mj. Like everything she said, this episode was perfect. It starts out with like them talking. Well, Kim saying you're really living life if you're having sex in front of the fireplace.

That was like what she had learned from mj, Like that's a little tibit of wisdom she'd pass down. Um, which if we wanna talk about that for a second, it's like one of those things that you see in a movie, but you're like, When would that ever actually happen? Yeah. And so I kind of love. Sam took the opportunity to like just talk about it. Be like, Listen, my grandma said this is the way to do it, so maybe we should try it.

Yeah. I like the idea of like fulfilling, like, I've always wanna do like the notebook kissing the rain. You know, it's when would you ever be in that circumstance? But it's like, you wanna do it because you've seen it. So I'm like, Go for it. Yeah, go for it. You make the circumstance. Exactly. So mj, thanks for passing down that little bit of wisdom. You know, if the opposite itself, who knows what might happen? That was cute. I loved MJ too. She's with it.

Another thing she said is that when they're talking about, um, cockpits, and like defining those, Oh my gosh. And the pilot's like, Oh, Chris is like, it's where the pilot and the co-pilot sit and MJ pipes in and sometimes the steward is Winking and Chris was a stewardist, so I know. I'm like, what stories is Chris telling mj? I'm like, they just talk about their sex lives a lot. Apparently So I loved M J's cheekiness. Yeah. She's so cute. She's the best.

Yeah. Um, so mine, I'll go ahead and go cuz. Mine kind. In that segment where we see MJ interacting with her daughter and her granddaughters, um, Kim gets a phone call from Space Boy, Space Boy. Um, so I thought that, I liked, I think, is that the first time we really hear from him? I guess we hear from him for like 30 seconds at the very, very, very end of last season.

Yeah. Um, But it, you know, I think that's like the first time we really hear from them, from him and see them kind of interacting over the phone. And, um, so I liked that. I like I like that they, you know, they talk about space and like, are you scared to get to space? And he was like, he is like, um, no, my real life is scarier. Right. Yeah. I, Which I don't know. I mean, I'm assuming it, they didn't, they haven't talked about it too much.

I don't know if Kanye had started threatening his life at that. He's like, Gotta get out. But he's obviously stressed out about some stuff and he feels like being up in outer space would be. That's, that was definitely my thought when I heard him say that is like, Yeah, I gotta get a break from all the hate I'm getting down here.

Yep. Yeah. So I feel like, I know we talked about this last episode how like Kim's just like a girlfriend girl, but it was so much that when she's like, my grandma says hi, like my grandma. Saying this to him when she was on the phone with him. Yeah. I thought that was like just funny and it made me think of our last episode. If you haven't listened, go listen, Yeah, but I thought that was cute.

Um, okay, so my standout side piece is like a super, like super side piece like nobody even knows the exist side piece. So I watched the episode twice naturally, you know, preparing for this and the second time around. Martha's Stewart's assistant was killing me. he's just by her side the whole time. As soon as she walks into Chris's house, she just hands, um, him, her purse. And then she's like, Wait, will you make sure I have the pictures of the peacocks in there and is my phone in there?

And like all these things. And then later when they're in the glam room, he's like taking pictures. You can see him in the background, just snapping these shots of them together. I was just dying. What she say to him? Isn't she like, Oh yeah. Make sure you get a picture of me with this lighting or something like that. Yeah. She's like, Make sure we get this for Instagram or something. I'm like, Oh my gosh, that's, I just thought that was so funny. Maybe I need one of those.

Yeah. I just was, that had me thinking maybe my shout out should have been to, um, the new chef, Hillary Wow. I hit me watching this. I was like, Wow, Chris has a separate kitchen in her house for the chef. Yeah. You know, like she had that kitchen they were sitting in and that like the little charcuterie board was sitting on, and then they surpris. Chloe? Mm-hmm. this like secret tucked away kitchen, and I was like, Oh. Oh my gosh. I don't know why that surprised me so much.

Like, I guess it makes sense if you always have a chef in your house cooking, but I was like, Whoa, that's like the next level. Yeah. I also just kinda wonder like where that, Does that chef like live there? Your house? Or does she just come in like it's good? Oh, often shit. Do you, Does she really have a chef cooking every meal? Right. I don.

and like having snacks and, Okay, so what I think is, I do think that there are chefs, meal prep, everything, cuz in the last episode, Um, twice when they've been at their, it's Palm Springs house. Mm-hmm. Um, they're hitting these pre-made meals up in the microwave. Yeah. She did it with the tacos with Courtney. She did it with a breakfast with Chloe. That's true. I know y'all. I just want like the inside stuff.

I have the note written down too, like, so how many, how many staff does she have in her home? Yeah. Like, I just need these details. And how can I get on that staff? I can't cook, but I can clean damn well and they would benefit. So I don't know. Yeah. Anyway, things that, things that are on my mind constantly. Okay. So that was fun. I like sand outside pieces. I like the stand outside. Yeah, I'd love to be one. One. Oh, I know. Wouldn't we all?

Okay. Let's really get into our hot takes from this episode. Christian, I feel like you're gonna have a good hot take. So just give it to us. she's always got something ready. Ion always comes in with the big, make you gasp one. I don't know. I don't know. Um, I honestly, what I wanna talk about is the variety interview. Mm-hmm. And I wanna say first that, um, I was surprised at how little. Of this episode discussed that, right?

Yes. Yeah. I didn't know how long the episode had been going on for. When that had, when that happened. Mm-hmm. And so I immediately thought, Oh, this must be, They just show her saying it, and then next episode is when we are gonna hear about the backlash. Right. But no, they like, and I don't know what's, what the, what they will talk about in the next episode. Maybe they go into it a little bit more. I don't think so though.

Yeah. Cause I, to me it seemed like they didn't want to, Like this was huge when it happened. Yeah. Like the backlash was incredible when it happened. Yeah. And I think it's been a few months, like it's died down and Kim got to say her piece and wrap it up real nice with a bow. and like, Okay, let's move on. Um, but I, I wanna, My hot take was when it happened, I read all kinds of tweets mm-hmm. and, um, articles and Instagram posts just destroying Kim over this.

And my initial reaction to the statement was not all that shocked or upset or whatever. But as I was reading these other posts and what people were saying and thinking, and I, I did start to realize, Why it was problematic that she said it. Mm-hmm. um, you know, this is a woman who I, I will argue till I boo in the face that she does work hard. Um, but she also has lived a privileged life, more privileged than the average privilege. Totally.

Like, like even when I'm not talking white privilege, we're talking Hollywood. Calabasa is privilege. Yeah. Yeah. Um, she's had a privileged life. She, uh, You know, there was a lot of comments about, um, the people who are actually in the factories, like doing the work for her companies that she runs, like creating the building, the actual product.

Um, there was a lot of talk about single moms, you know, who like are doing everything they can to stay afloat and, um, and so I, I understood the backlash. I'll say that I understood it. But I was watching this and I just felt, my heart felt for her because there are things that I have said or done that have later been brought to my attention that haunt me. Mm-hmm. Yeah. And I'm literally like, I should not have said that.

Or like, I'm so embarrassed, or I'm so mad at myself for doing that or saying that, or how stupid that was. And you can't take it back like you've already said it, you've already done it. All you can do is be like, Shoot, I'm sorry, I shouldn't have done that. But that is a horrible feeling. Mm-hmm. to have something that you've said brought to your attention and be, and, and just like have to like mold that over and be like, that's a horrible feeling.

And for it to be on the scale that it was when Kim did it, um, I just, her and Chloe in the car, I just felt, I felt. Like, it's hard to say, but I felt bad for Kim Kardash I felt bad for her. Like she knew that what she said was not being taken well and she just, you know, didn't know how to fix it. And then, um, my, I mean, my hot take is that honestly, um, I thought that what Chloe said in her interview was. Pretty much perfect. And I've been thinking about it all day.

She says it was the right message. It was the wrong messenger. Exactly. Mm-hmm. Yep. And I think that's true because I do think that we live in a little bit of a time where there's some entitlement and there's some feeling of like, I, There's entitlement. That's, Yeah. That's what I'll say. And, um, people don't want to have to work as hard and, and there's nothing I will say, there's a point to that movement. Right. There's a point to the, Hey, we've gotta also be able to enjoy our lives.

Yeah. Yeah. Totally. Um, and I agree with that and like, taking care of yourself mentally and emotionally and not like working yourself into an early grave. But, um, it, it goes too far for some people. Mm. And, um, yeah, the, the motivation to, to say, Hey, you gotta get out and you gotta work hard. Yeah, you gotta get up and you gotta work. Um, that's not a bad message. Right.

But when it's coming from Kim Kardashian, especially when you focus on that one line, you know, where she uses some very passionate language mm-hmm. But if you, as I watched the whole, you know, little clip of her answering that question, she goes on to say, If you want to be successful, you're gonna have to put in work. So it's like that is saying the same thing in different words as mm-hmm. get your fing ass up and work.

That's the same concept, but it's totally a lot more gentle and easier to digest. So, yeah, I mean, that's a common theme for anyone would tell you if you want to have a successful business, you're gonna have to put in work. But the way she phrased it and coming from her, it just wasn't gonna ever. Be okay. Right. I wanna say this. I feel like there was so much, you know, passion behind what she was saying. Like you can tell when you watch it, she was super like into it.

And I feel like it was coming from a place of defending herself and her family, cuz we just had Chris get asked this pretty heated question that a lot of people have opinions on, like, what's your talent or whatever. Mm-hmm. And I feel like Kim was saying this in addition to that of. Almost maybe being pissed off or annoyed because she, people think she doesn't work hard or that she didn't work for this life that she has, you know? And so I feel like I wish we could have gotten it.

I think she could have said it in better words if she wasn't coming off of that comment, feeling like, You know, all this like energy towards it, towards the topic of like working hard and like have the Kardashians worked, you know, things like that. Right. So, I don't know. That's my take on it. But I am also shocked that they didn't talk more about it. Right.

Yeah. I thought they would've talked a lot more about it, well, I thought it was super interesting when she's sitting down to eat with, um, Chloe and Kindle. She just gives a little more insight into kind of their life and how um, she mentions that Chris and Bruce had to like, sell their home because they couldn't afford it and to an apartment. My gosh, that's true. Like Chris truly did a lot.

She talks about how she got a real estate license and her manager license, so then she could be Bruce's manager and mm-hmm I mean, there's no doubt that they have done a lot of work and they owned and ran businesses. Before they got a reality TV show. Yeah. Yeah. So they were business women first and so then they were able to capitalize off of the fame. Yeah. They got from being on a TV show.

And there's been lot Kim says this of reality TV shows that have come out covering a family that don't make it, they, uh, stick around for a, a season or. Yeah. So there's something about the Kardashians that they lived on Morgan's for 20 years. Amen. That's a really good point. I haven't really even thought of it that way. That's a great point. and Kim even says, Yeah, people love to talk about the sex tape and stuff. And she's like, the sex tape, if anything makes you not credible.

closest doors. Yeah. Yeah. Like it's probably, And a hundred percent. And I think she's probably right. Like it's probably a lot harder to, prove yourself as like a, I wanna be, I'm here to work, I'm here to be successful. I'm gonna run a company. Yeah. I have a sex tape, but let's forget about that right? Yeah. You know? One thing that I have been thinking for a while, and I've, I wanted to bring it up on this particular episode where we're talking about this, and I'll make it quick.

So a few years ago, Kylie was named on Forbes. Like youngest Billionaire. Yeah. List, right Self, Sorry. Youngest self-made billionaire. Let's clarify that. Mm. And there was a lot of backlash to that, that she's not self-made. She had, you know, she came from money, she da, da, da, da. and, um, Forbes actually has, a scale that they use to evaluate how self-made someone is.

Mm. And so that's a one to 10 scale so they take these billionaires, every year when they're posting their new self-made billionaire list, they take this scale in, uh, a scale of one to. would indicate if you score a one to five on the scale. Uh, it indicates that you inherited your wealth. Okay. I'm sure one, you inherited all of your wealth and five you inherited half or something.

Yeah. I, I don't know exactly how the scale works, but one to five means you've inherited wealth, which would mean that you were not so much self-made Yeah. Right. Yeah. Like you're, you're much lower on the self-made scale. A score of six to 10 means that you've built your own company. You've established, you know, some of your own fortune on your own. Mm. And it doesn't mean that you didn't come from money, but you've actually done something.

So I would imagine a one is someone who had billionaire parents who had a trust fund and who has never worked a day in their life, who doesn't have a company who has done nothing to amass their own wealth. Yeah. Right. And then of course, at 10 you've got like Oprah win. Right. I literally rags two riches. Did it all on her own. Yeah. You know, like didn't have a dime to her name, didn't have anything to fall back on.

And so just because Kylie and I remember reading an article that, someone who helped create this Forbes, Scale wrote after the backlash. She said, Just because someone has money to fall back on. So if Kylie had started this company, her lip kit or her, her cosmetics company and it failed dramatically, she'd be okay. Right? Yeah. Like she's got family wealth. She that she. We'll inherit and that she'll be okay. It doesn't mean she didn't create a company. Yeah, yeah.

She's not a 10, She's not an Oprah Winfrey, but I wanna say, Oh man, I should have looked it up. I wanna say that she was like a seven. I can see that on the one to 10 scale. So yeah, she had some money to fall back on. But Kylie Jenner has made a name for herself. Mm-hmm. Yeah. And to, that's, that's how all of the Kardashians are. And so say whatever you want about their talent or about, how, how hard they work or how much money they've already come from.

that doesn't necessarily, shouldn't necessarily take away from the fact that they have been very successful on their own. And would they have been if they didn't grow up in their situation? Probably not. I don't know. We don't know. But the fact is they still are successful on their own. And we can't take that away from them. Yeah, I love that, that you point that out. Especially if you think like generationally like Kim and Kylie, whatever the age difference is there, that's huge.

So people that found Kylie and you know, love her and love her products, like I'm sure there are many of them that had never even heard of Kim Kardashian. So it wasn't like that tie is what brought people to her. Yep. She, she definit. She's like, She is her own fan base That is independent of Kim. Exactly. I think they all do. I really do. I think each Kardashian taps into a li, like everyone has their favorite, you know, for the most part, mine are all of 'em.

That's a fascinating discussion for sure. Yeah. Yeah. I love. So my hot take, or something that I wanted to talk about from this episode is Miss Chris and her whole debacle of getting old and like, Look, I'm just gonna say it up front. She's being a bit dramatic. I don't know. I'm not trying to be insensitive, but the whole time all I could think. First of all, she says in her interview, This is just gonna really concern my kids. I know. And we go to the conversation.

Chloe and Kim are completely calm, completely comforting her supporting her. And the follow up question is, Well, what else do you wanna get done? We're having these hip, That's true. I'm like, Chris line. Like they're not gonna be that distraught and mean. I understand that. It's hard, but also the fact that mjs sitting there, During this whole conversation, I'm like, Girl, come on. Oh man. Wow, you. I had a very different take I did too. I, I loved her vulnerability. I felt for her.

She definitely was right. Her kids were not concerned for her. Mm-hmm. I mean, in the fact that she had to have surgery. They feel for her that she's bothered by this and that she is sad to, um, come to terms with the fact that she's aging and getting older. But I, I definitely felt for Chris because I feel.

In, in Per In, in other people I've seen that are kind of in that category, they have that same fear and it's like this hard realization where they have, you know, a health related thing that they have to take care of and they're like, Man, this seems so big. Like, I'm not ready for this. Or like, they're just, they're not able to live their life quite as they. Yeah, and that's hard to process. It's not something I had thought about until just recently, really? How hard it would be to get older.

Aging. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That's funny. My husband had the same reaction as Noel and he hasn't seen this episode yet, but we watched together, I think two weeks ago, and it flashed forward to this, and she's crying and she's really emotional about having to have surgery. And my husband's like, Oh my gosh, whatever, You know, like, she's being so dramatic. Like, just have the surgery will be fine.

And when I'm, When you're watching her, For me, when you're watching her talk about it, I felt for her too. she says, you just never wanna be that person who's just gonna be in a walker. Yeah. You know? our mom, even, I remember one time she sent me a picture of our grandmother's ring on her hand, and this was a while ago, and she said something along the lines of, It's so bittersweet because this is a ring that I've always loved and wanted.

And now that I have it, it me, It basically, it just means that a ton of time has passed. Mmm. And I do, I just think, you know, aging is difficult and you, you do like when you start getting to a point where you can't do things as easily as you used to and you're picturing yourself on a walker, Sure. And you can't move around like that would be. Sad and it would be hard to come to terms with. Right. Um, but I think Chris being able to talk to Martha and Martha made Yeah.

I did it 15 years ago, Oscar. I know. Ok. That was so good. I love, I think that might been good for her. I was like, that's really why Mar Martha came here not to show us these peacocks. She's just trying to show Chris that she'll be fine. But I do see what you're saying, Noel like for sure. There's worse things going on in the world, but also we have a Kardashian podcast that's Let's like, let's start. Pretend like we don't know that there's like some pretty tough stuff going on out there.

This is the importance. Yeah. You know, Chris could be more concerned about other things, but. This is the big thing for her. It's true, but I, I wanna do a little personal note here. I work with the aging population, everyone she is, I'm with 90 year olds every single day, and I love them to death. Those are my people. And so I'm all about fighting the. Stigma of aging. So when I have this 60 some year old woman here, I'm like, Girl, don't round yourself up. Let's live in this moment.

Like that's what's hard. And Kim did say that. That's just Chris's personality. She's always been someone that's like, Yeah, I have this many Christmases left and stuff like that. Which time out? Can we say how weird the analogy was? Marbles? That sounds so weird. That. Like her mom, she's lives her marbles. She's like a jar of marbles that she's pulling out every year. Her best. I'm surprised Kim didn't say, Let's pull that out. I'm Surpris. Didn't edit that on. Cause that was weird. So weird.

The second time around I watched it. I was like, Wait, is this really in here right now? Oh my gosh. That was bad. Yeah, so anyway, love Chris. She's always vulnerable with us, however, always crying like love it, but that's true. This moment I was like, Okay girl, it's okay. It wasn't for you. Yeah, not for me. Chris is definitely not a stranger to surgery, but I do feel like generationally that people in that age range, have more fear around surgery in general.

Yeah. And so I think that's where a lot of that was stemming from. Yeah, I can see that. Whereas definitely me, like if someone told me I needed surgery and I'd be living a better life, I'd be like, Yeah, no problem. Like, let's, Yeah, put me down for the earliest opening So yeah, I, I do wanna touch on one thing. That's a little related because Chris is the one who starts this whole peacock adventure. I need to talk about.

Chloe's sidebar at the Peacock Farm with Chris after she just let this man's peacock go. Yeah, this is such a mother-daughter moment. It's like she's pinching Chris's arm. Like, Get over here I don't wanna freaking peacock. I know you're just gonna take it over to your house for the parties. Like it was so heated. It was like really intense. I would just. Sitting there laughing, they're like whispering. So the poor peacock farmer doesn't hear sweetest man we've ever seen.

I was stand outside piece Yeah. So I just thought that was really good. I wanted to make sure I hit that at least once, cuz I thought that was hilarious. That was a good con and it was sort of like, Yeah. How come Chloe hasn't said that until now? I think maybe she thought, Yeah, this is all just for filming. This is all just for fun. And then she finds herself at a peacock farm and her mom's probably about to throw out a credit card.

No cash, No, she does cash and for last, and she finally has to put her foot down and be like, Mom. What is going on? I've never said I wanted to be talking. And then she like gets her little stool and like, Here's your stool, get in the car, Which killed me. So it was so funny and I was like at that level with Chloe, with Chris, like, cuz Chloe even was a little irritated by her whole aging conversation. I'm like, I'm with you Chloe. Like, I'm there. Get her in the freaking car.

Let's get this girl home. like she used to go lay down. Oh man. So, So those are some good moments for me. But morgues, what do you got for us? Okay. So not to contradict myself, we always are, but my hot take is that I'm team Kindle again, I realized that maybe I just don't, like, I'm not a big, um, health guru type of person. I don't think I'll ever be that person where I. You're not craving cucumbers, Not craving cucumbers, or like Yeah, that's just not who I am.

I try to do some basic health, but nothing to respect to, um, to in depth. But her, in this episode, I just, I've. Gravitated to her again. I was like, Okay, this is the Kindle that I, you know, I think I really relate to and enjoy. First of all, I thought she looked beautiful with like her red hair growing out. You kind of saw a couple different hair colors from her.

Um, but when she sat down with Scott, I just thought she looked beautiful and she was just talking about how she's passionate about. Flipping homes and how she as a model doesn't get that outlet of creativity. She's wearing beautiful, creative clothes, but she has no real part in that. She's just now dressed. Mm-hmm. And so she found this for herself, and it's something that we've already talked about that she's good at. We love the style of her home. That's true.

And that she currently lives in and. So, yeah, I, I'm happy for her and I wanna see where this goes. I'm not a tequila drinker, so I don't know anything about 8 1 8 and how good that is. Keep up with that. But, um, yeah, I'd love to see what she does flipping homes. Maybe we can get a side show of Sky. I would love that. Yeah. That should be hgtv. If you're listening, you should reach out. Yes. Sky, get please.

I will say I feel like that what you just said right there more, Cause I agree with a hundred percent. I loved watching her talk about something she was passionate about and I think it just goes to show the difference when someone's doing things more, um, in like an anxiety driven way, which I do think a lot of her health journey is. Mm-hmm. um, she even says it, she's like, Yeah, I have a lot of anxiety. I wanna know everything that's going on inside my.

Versus when she is having these conversations about something that brings her so much joy. Right. You're right. That's such a good point. It comes from two, it stems from two different places, like her health obsession and wanting to flip homes. You're so right. So, yeah. Yeah, that's a, that's a really important point there. Um, she was still annoying to me, but I'm glad you guys liked her. She was there. It's, I dunno, when she was wearing to see that house, like that outfit was bugging me.

The cargo pants. Yeah. I love that. And like the wife beater. Yeah. And I just, I still feel, aw, she still just puts across this awkwardness and yeah. I mean, I'm glad she's doing something fun and creative. That's great. I'm happy for her, but I just, just think she, to me, she's just kind of boring to watch on tv. Wow. I was so, I was so much more impressed with her this go around than like the two episodes ago that we saw her. Yeah. So that's interesting.

I, I thought it was cute, but let's be honest. Chloe and Chris have this show on their back. Yeah. Like yeah, they are running this thing and I am not mad about it. No, me either. In the slightest. So, Oh, before we wrap this up, um, I'm gonna need to see who does the best peacock call? Honor. It's Christian. Oh my gosh. Her asking the trainer to like do the peacock cuz she's like, What does the peacock sound like? Martha did it too. Martha was doing it too. That reminded me of our mom.

I was like, that's something our mom would do. Like ask the peacock farmer. What's the peacock say like sound for us. Okay. You first, Mark. Oh, You would've put us on this spot. Yeah, I kinda just meant you guys. Oh my gosh. I can't even remember. Ah. That's pretty good. I do a better Turkey gobble. A peacock doesn't come up in the animal flashcards. I'm showing my daughter. That's true's. You go. No. Oh my gosh.

I feel like their mating would be a little something like, Oh, oh my gosh, that's not a thin air. You've never heard of, you never heard of peacock. I mean, I picture it. Close your eyes. Everyone picture it. They got their feathers up. They're doing a little roll of the, the, the chest. They're shimmy, shimmy with their peacock feathers out, the other birds wanting that for sure. Ah, there's a hot I'm running from that I, Because can be scary to two birds. We do. You want this thing to peck?

You do Oh gosh. We gotta love Chris. Oh man. Okay. So our listeners, why don't you DM us and video, video as best we got call and we'll put it on our story. We definitely, Oh man. Oh my gosh. Yeah. That's hilarious. Well, this has been a pleasure as always, ladies. Sure has. And if you do wanna dms, your peacock sounds on Instagram, make sure that you follow us at Hot Cakes Pod. Um, we just can't wait for next week. There's a lot of crazy things coming up.

Lots of partying with Chloe, so we will see you guys then. Can't wait. It looks like a fun time. Okay, bye.
