She is a first generation American, was the first person in her family to go to college, and the first one in her family to pursue postgraduate school. During our time together, Dr. White shares how her journey into healthcare was not easy and some of the hurdles along the way she had to overcome. We discuss the challenges of balancing career and family life and the strategies she uses to prevent and combat symptoms of burnout.
