Episode description

While the number remains, thankfully few, younger and younger people are being pulled into the extreme far right, they are being groomed online, and sometimes initiating their own cells. This alarming trend is something that HOPE not hate are aiming to curb.

Signs of Hate is a publication from HOPE not hate that brings a greater awareness to teachers, that they may be able to identify radicalization, by giving them a knowledge of the shifting trends of imagery used by the far right.

Matthew McGregor, Campaigns Director at HOPE not hate, spoke with Patrik Hermansson, Researcher at HOPE not hate, Owen Jones, Head of Education and training at HOPE not hate, and Jackie, a subject teacher working just outside London, on this important issue.
