The story of Moses meeting God at the burning bush is at its core a story about our God who relentless pursues us. He seeks Moses by coming down the mountain and entering into the natural path of Moses life. And when Moses (and us) turn aside to God, we find a God who doubles our name and calls us deeper into his story of rescue.
