Episode description

Join Hooked On Horror's own Adam Williams and Mike Murphy for Episode One of this six-episode podcast series Hooked On Hammer.

As promised, each episode features a walkthrough of our chosen film complete with background on both Hammer Films and the film itself, contextualised history, behind the scenes stories and facts, our own experiences and a few choice pop culture references. This is made for old and new Hammer Horror fans alike.

And for Episode One we will be looking at the 1957 film The Curse of Frankenstein. The film that arguably started the 'Golden Era' for Hammer Horror.

"While awaiting execution for murder, Baron Victor Frankenstein tells the story of a creature he built and brought to life - only for it to behave not as he intended."

Directed by Terence Fisher, written by Jimmy Sangster (original story by Mary Shelley) and starring Christopher Lee, Peter Cushing, Robert Urquart and Hazel Court.
