Lisa Nehring is the founder and director of True North Homeschool Academy, a k-12th grade full service on-line Academy. Lisa Nehring has been married for over 36 years to David, a Clinical Psychologist, who joins Lisa occasionally on the Life Skills 101 podcast. Lisa holds Master’s Degree in Human Development (she wrote her thesis on “Why Parents Homeschool,”) and a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. Having homeschooled her 5 Kids for 30 years, Lisa takes delight in knowing that her grandkids are also being homeschooled.
Lisa believes that education is the transmission of culture and is passionate about transmitting a culture of Truth, beauty and goodness to a world desperate for all three.
