What began on a remote mountain top out post in Afghanistan in 2008 with three Soldiers: Staff Sergeant John Bates, Specialist Eric Finniginamm and Specialist Eric Bakken. The Fallen Outdoors was officially established in 2009. Year after year, The Fallen Outdoors grew and expanded, in October of 2015 TFO was awarded our 501 (c)3 Status. Today TFO serves tens of thousands of veterans a year across the United States. What started off as a simple idea to help veterans get outdoors has transformed into a mission and lifestyle that our TFO Nation lives every day.
