Born at Fort Knox, raised in Meade County, I enlisted in 1985 upon graduating from high school and served 22 years of active duty service in the United States Marine Corps. Upon retiring in 2008, I wanted to give back to my community and in 2010, I joined the Marine Corps League, Detachment 729 here in Louisville. Currently, I am in my 13th year as the Toys for Tots Coordinator for Jefferson, Oldham, Shelby, Spencer, Henry and Owen counties in Kentucky.
