One of the purposes of a Lullaby, or a cradle song, in some societies is to pass down cultural knowledge or tradition. Brendan Brady has taken that purpose as part of the Lullaby Project to break down cultural barriers to learn about diverse languages and practices by performing lullabies from different countries. With the help of his collaborator, Michaela Devine, listen to some of the traditional lullabies you may recognise and some you may not have.
