Dr. Sheila Patel is the Chief Medical Officer for Chopra Global and a board-certified family physician. She earned her M.D. at the University of Wisconsin Medical School and completed her residency in family medicine at Ventura County Medical Center in Southern California. For more than a decade, she practiced full-spectrum rural family medicine, and currently maintains an outpatient family medicine practice locally in Southern California. She is a certified yoga and meditation instructor, as well as an Ayurvedic consultant, and brings these principles into the care of her patients.
