On this episode using pre come as a gauge, this is the holistic alpha male optimization podcast where we help you unleash your true power as a man. Hey guys, welcome back to the show. I'm Steven Mathis. Thank you for being here with me. Let's talk about pre cum and using it as a gauge. One of my most important things that has affected me that I talk to clients about is pay attention to the gauges and your body and your mind and your sexuality.
And one of those gauges in our sexuality is pre con. It is actually a very important one, a very meaningful one to pay attention to. Let's talk about the specifics of that now. First of all, let's get out of the way that it's not about comparing as if you somehow could compare. I'm not sure how you would, but it's definitely not about comparing the amount of pre con that you have versus another guy.
That doesn't matter. What does matter is using it to help you understand what is happening in your body and in your sexuality. First of all, let's clarify what pre cum is. Pre cum is a fluid that comes out as you get aroused. For some guys it comes out very very easily. The slightest arousal of any kind, even if they're not hard and they'll have pre cum. Other guys have not very much pre cum at all. So again, it doesn't really matter.
There's definitely some differences between men, but it's that clear fluid that starts to come out. And to be very clear, when it comes to semen retention, when it comes to sexual energy, I do not believe there is any energetic loss from pre cum. The most strict interpretation of Taoist teachings would tell you that there is some loss of energy in pre cum, but most of even Daoist teachings and my experience has absolutely been that there is no energetic loss
in pre cum. In fact, the exact opposite. The exact opposite. By the way, quick note because something that some of you guys I know because I've talked with you, but many of you that I may not have spoken with, something you may have experienced is a fluid coming out that's not clear precum and it's not ejaculation, it's not semen, It's something kind of in between. It's not clear, but it's also not the same consistency as
semen. So what can happen is if you stimulate the prostate significantly, so if you're very roused, if your root muscle is very engorged, it's doing a lot of clenching. And depending on how you're using that, depending on your arousal level, depending on how you're engaging with that, you can in essence kind of milk the prostate, right? So if you look up milking the prostate or prostate massage, you can stimulate the prostate where it releases some of that fluid.
Now, the reason that it's different is because when we ejaculate, the prostate releases fluid, but then sperm is also released and it mixes together, right? And there's some differences there, one of them being it's much stickier, right? Sperm has the ability to, in essence, hang on inside of a woman. That same thing applies. So that's something that can help you tell the difference between those two. But when we have that milking the prostate thing, now you may
have that. So if you've done anal stimulation or milked the prostate that way, you may have experienced that where you do actually ejaculate at the same time. However, it is not always the case. And you very well may have experienced this where you have this prostate fluid kind of released. It's not clear, but it's also not semen. And my belief with that is again, that there's a little, if any energy loss. So it's up to you to kind of figure out and tune into what is
happening in your body. First of all, from which sort of fluid you're experiencing. Now let's talk about using pre cum as a gauge because it is indeed a very valuable gauge because two things from how pre cum happens in your life will help you understand what is going on in your sexuality in the moment as well as bigger picture.
So bigger picture, if you're practices change in whatever way and you have more pre come as a result of that, that is likely telling you that you have opened up those energetic channels more and you are having more energy flow through that entire area. And that's a good thing, a very good thing. If you have more pre come in a particular session versus another session, that might tell you that in that particular session you got a little deeper, you had more energy flow in that
particular session. So there's nothing here to be judgmental about by any means. And I wouldn't necessarily set it as any kind of target to work towards. It will however be a by product and a symptom of what is happening. So if for example, you actually have a decline in the amount of precum you're used to experiencing sort of a certain amount and you have a decline in that, that may tell you that there is some stagnation and that may actually happen as you get closer to needing to
release. So something that I've talked about previously with retention is that it is not always a longer is better scenario. There is a right amount for you right now at this moment in time on your unique journey. There's a a best kind of length of time that you will likely find with some testing and that may be a sign that you've
actually reached that point. So if you have a certain amount of pre cum and let's say X amount of time goes by retaining let's say 2 weeks and then after two weeks your pre cum actually goes down, that may be telling you that there's some stagnant energy in a maybe time to actually release. So bottom line with this, there is no one-size-fits-all. It really doesn't matter. It's not about trying to get the
most possible. Although if you find that when you have the most in your unique experience that that's when you feel the best, then by all means do that.
And I would suggest that you look at it as a gauge and just pay attention because it can help you understand, I think on a very fundamental basis, it will help you understand how much energy is flowing through your body versus how much energy is normally flowing through your body from a sexual energy standpoint, moving along that microcosmic orbit, moving along that pathway, that circular Oval kind of pathway in our body.
The more that that's happening, the more open it is, the more free that flow of energy is, the more precum you're going to have in comparison to whatever you normally have. I hope that makes sense.
