Let's talk about a couple of challenges that you can bring into your edging practice. And by the way, when I say challenge, this is like just for you.
This is not some comparing or sharing with other guys to experiments might actually be a better word that you can bring into your edging practice. First, a quick reminder or primer. When I say edging, what I'm talking about is mindful edging. Meaning you have no screens of any kind. You're not ejaculating at the end most of the time. Most of the time it's edging that's going to what's what's going to make it an edging
session. Now you may have a session every so often where you release and you edge prior to that. For the most part, you're practicing some sort of retention and it is mindful, meaning it is a journey of self
exploration. It is about primarily bringing our awareness back within ourselves and actually what it's really about as we dive deeper and deeper into it, it's about bringing our awareness deeper and deeper and deeper within ourselves because in there, whether it's in your edging practice, it's meditating, it's whatever it is within ourselves. That's where we find, that's where we find magic. That's where we find the universe.
God. If you believe in God, if you are a believer in God, then you are made of God. God is everything. That means that's what you are. That's what I am. That's what Jackie is. That's what this tree is. So when we're on a journey of mindful edging, whether you're 2 days into that practice or 10 years into that practice, if it's mindful edging, and I think in my view, the ideal approach to that, it is very much a journey within your own being, within your own soul, if you
want to think about it that way. That is the journey. Now, of course, along the way, we want to have better sex with partners and connect in that way. And maybe we want to improve the function of our cock along the way. And maybe we want to have great edging sessions just for its own purpose, not for what it might bring into the rest of our lives because both of those things are very important. Along that journey.
There's a couple of challenges that you can do that you can experiment with that will help you learn more about your cock. Now, the more you learn about your body, the better you're going to be able to connect with it, the more you're going to be able to harness it and work with it in a way that feels good to
you in the moment. So learning about our body is actually one of the most important aspects of this journey of mindful edging of this journey of diving into your sexuality more to get more out of it. Because so many of us have been very, very habitual in very limited and limiting ways in the early years and sometimes for many years of our experience being a sexual being. We're often most guys are very habitual in a very limited way.
So if we're going to expand and get more out of our sexuality, we got to we got to experiment, we got to do new things and learn about our body along the way. There's a couple of challenges that will not only help you learn, they'll actually help you develop skills of better control. Because one of the things that an aspect of having control and stamina, one way that we can think about that is basically building a more well-rounded
cock, right? So a lot of us, all of us really, we start out with very focused, limited cocks in terms of the skill and heart understanding of it and our ability to control it and to utilize the energy that feeds through it and all of these things. It's very, very limited. We can make it more well-rounded where you can go slow, you can go fast, you can respond to different types of stimulation and dive into that energy in different ways. It's not this very limited slice
of what stimulation looks like. So the first challenge is edging, only touching your shaft, no head stimulation whatsoever. Now you may try a whole session start to finish, or if you have like a longer edging session, typically you might do this for a part of it, but do it for a meaningful part of it for a longish kind of chunk. Because I think you'll find a couple of things.
One is that it may be a bit difficult because again, we're so habitual, it might be kind of difficult to actually stop yourself from getting back into that almost automatic kind of response, right? So that in and of itself, breaking those automatic responses a little bit and gaining a little bit of control over what you're doing and actually come back to a place of intention, that in and of itself
is really good. You're going to likely learn some things about how the shaft responds in different ways that might be very beneficial. Another awesome thing about only stimulating the shaft is it is, as I talked about recently, a lower intensity kind of zone. So when you're only stimulating the shaft, it's going to give you an opportunity to potentially have better control at higher levels of arousal. So it can also be a really good builder of stamina for that
reason. So that's the first challenge is have an edging session only stimulating the shaft. I would encourage you, even if you have longer sessions, typically try like a 10 or 15 minute session or whatever it is that feels good to you, set a timer and literally challenge yourself that you may not touch the head from start to finish. It's not like you have to do this on a regular basis. We don't have to do it at all, right? But there's probably not a huge need to do that kind of strict
test on a regular basis. But it might be an interesting thing to F around with and find out about one time. Here's the other challenge, as you might have guessed, stimulating only the head, the complete opposite. Do not touch the shaft at all and only emulate the head. Now, one thing to be aware of of both of these challenges is that it is new. It's different probably, which means your body might not respond in exactly the same way.
In fact, hopefully it hopefully doesn't respond in exactly the same way and that's almost an impossibility. One of the ways it may respond differently is you may not get as hard, you may not get it as aroused. It's OK, right? It's OK to experiment and not be. I think one of the habits that again, a lot of guys need to break is the habit of getting in this like race to the finish, get to maximum power, maximum arousal, maximum hardness. It doesn't always have to be
that way. We can draw tremendous benefit and power and enjoyment and growth out of an edging practice, even if you're not super duper aroused, even if you're not super hard. So when you do these two challenges, only the shaft and then only the head, be open minded. Just allow for what is.
Now let's talk a little bit more about that stimulating only the head one, this is going to be very, very, very different because the head is that for most guys is a hypersensitive, especially for guys who are circumcised. I think that's more often the case because the head sometimes gets a little over stimulated. But regardless, for a lot of guys, the head is going to be a very, very sensitive area.
So instead of having a shaft or maybe you're not going to be as feeling as much stimulation, certainly inch for inch, right. But just in general on the head, it might be the opposite where it's less overall stimulation, but it's very sharp, it's very focused. It's definitely a different kind of stimulation. And both of these challenges are going to take kind of different forms of stimulation.
So the shaft only you might like drop a finger off versus what you normally use these one less finger, 2 less fingers, whatever it is, you might just make little circles. One thing to experiment with only the shaft is take both hands and kind of make like a, if you were going to start a fire by rubbing a stick, that kind of motion that can be helpful with the shaft. When it comes to only the head, you might do that kind of thing even with only the head.
Also those little thumb circles, finger circles. This is a very kind of nuanced thing. This is like, you know, again, not a lot of guys are actually willing to dive into these sort of details and this depth of expansion. But guess what? There is a lot of magic. I know a lot of you guys are already experiencing that. So try these two challenges. Only the shaft, only the head. See how it feels. I would love to hear your comments.
