The All Star break is over and the Avs have not picked up where they left off, dropping two in a row to start the six game road trip. Fresh off a frustrating loss to the Devils that saw a third period comeback fall apart at the last second, the Avs still have their explosive potential, but the details have not returned from the break yet. The return against the Rangers was better, and most importantly, Georgiev looks to be rounding into form. Finally, the Blackhawks are hosting yet another Winter Classic, and the Winter Classic as a whole just feels dead.
