Episode description

As we are gear up for our 200th episode, which will be recorded live at The Aftermath in Hong Kong on December 5, 2024. We take a journey down memory lane and we go through some of our favorite podcast cover photos, how our process changed over the years, and we browse the "More like this" section of our podcast on Spotify, and the results were pretty unexpected.

Transcript

So I reiterate here, the bill is dead. The story of this great city is about the years before this night. We are free. Hey everybody, it's a new episode. It's a late episode of Hong Kong. I'm your host, Mohammed Magdi, sitting here in the dark of the night. That's right. Saving the planet one light bulb at a time? Yes. Trying to turn the lights off, especially before typhoon time. Could. This could be the last moment together. MO. This could be this could be the

tea that teases apart. I mean, technically any moment can be the last moment together. Yes, but there's no drama to that. Yes. You know, like, like any movie can be like, technically the movie could end here. Yeah, your life continues. You're like, yeah, but that's not the point here. I I don't want my life. So you said 194 minutes. I want 194 minutes of shit. That's not my life. I want every movie to be 120. A 120. That's already too long. That's two hours.

Yeah, the movie should start, go back to 90 minutes. Yeah. I hate to sound old here. No, no, no. Movies used to be 90 minutes and I go in 90 minutes. Even if you pay in the. Theater. Yeah, no, I'll tell you this like when I when I suddenly when I scroll through Netflix, I'm gonna treat myself and watch a movie yeah like I see the one hour mark I'm good it's like one hour and 59 I'm like that's two hours, man yeah that's one hour. I'll give myself an hour.

It's like. It's crazy because in the movies you're like, you feel like you're not actually getting more value the longer, you know what I mean? Yeah. Like if you're paying in the theater, you're like, oh, it's three hours. Like that's actually not good. Yeah, Yeah, You know what I mean? Like you want. You want it to be also like the attention span, this and that, everything added up together like it. It is just human nature. You cannot listen.

Hence why our podcast very rarely goes over an hour. Yes, because we know our listeners the level that they're at. Yes, we get it. We're like people you and it's not. We don't hold on because you don't feel so stupid. Can't be focused for an hour. No, we're saying your life is much more worth it. Yes. Then you only like 1 hour pause is good enough where you have other more productive things you know. One hour of of entertainment for free.

Let's face it, and let's be honest, like we know our clients, so our clientele are the type that they're trying to save the world for the other 23 hours, Yes. And for one hour they said how will I treat myself? And they decide to listen to the Hoho Hong Kong podcast. Some of them even say one hour's not enough. And they are a Patreon subscribers, correct? Exactly. They go to patreon.com/hoho pod and they subscribe. So they want a little bit, a

little bit more stuff. And some of them would even think that the listening to the one Hour's Not enough and the Hoho Hong Kong Patreon is not enough. Yeah, and they want to see us live in person. Absolutely. And it's going to happen on that 200th episode, people. That's why on the 5th after December, nighttime, 8:00 PM at the Aftermath, you can come and listen to us in person. See. Do our mouse match with our voices? Yeah. Are we synchronized? Do we have subtitles? Subtitles.

Do we talk looking at each other? Do we talk looking at the audience? How do we hold our mic? What is the mic technique? Do we use cable? Do we not? Is the mixer on or off? Is the SD card. Is the mixer on or off? Is like something they don't know about, but there's like the story of our lives? Yeah, exactly. Sometimes. Remember when you like 10 minutes into it you're like ah, it's not working anymore. What's? Not working. Yeah, you will be able to know

every little little detail. Like what? What size? You can ask questions too. Yeah, yeah. What size SD card do you use? What brand SD card do you use? What's the transfer speed of the SD card do you use? What type of headphones do you use? Do you plug it on slot number 123 or four? Do you have 4 slots or one slot? You see, if you just come watch the live recording on the 5th of. December it's only 100 bucks by the way, it's super cheap. That just goes straight to venue

rent. So yeah, please support. I'll support the aftermath. It's a very cool venue as well. Yeah, live music, if you haven't seen it before, it's like a cool, like rocks, rock bar kind. Of yeah, the aftermath over there. And so yeah, just look at the description of today's episode and you will get to know all about it. Speaking of descriptions, man, like we were just discussing before the episode. We were like reminiscing on like, Oh my goodness, we've been

doing it for so long. We're getting old. I remember back in the day when, you know, like, for example, we had to generate energy ourselves while we were recording at the same time and then it made us load up. Of course, me being a Spotify subscriber, I was like, let me go use the service I'm paying for. And immediately I was like, Oh yeah, oh, I'm going over there. And just just to let everybody know over here that we have, we're hitting the 200 episode mark real soon.

And for those of you who are on Spotify and you don't want to pay, just like you don't want to pay right now, Spotify does come free as well if you want. And you can actually rate the podcast. That's something that would hugely benefit us. Yeah. So you can just go on the thing and then next to the little how do you call this thing I'm. The gear icon. The gear, yes, that's the word gear settings.

Yeah, next to the three dots, 3 vertical dots, you will see there is an option to Racho. Yeah, and then you can give us a rating. Let us know what you think. Obviously you think positive. You know, the world's full of grim, ugly things. We don't need to add that to it. Exactly. And if you feel like Nah, you don't want to run the rating because if I do, I'll give them a bad rating, then you know what? Do that You don't know it's cool. Yeah, you can. Actually.

You can also DM us and tell us things in person. Yeah, and we'll try to convince you why it's otherwise. Exactly why you're wrong. And for the live episode, in a classic stand up comedians fashion, we're actually gonna give you papers to write the the questions. Yeah, because your voice wouldn't be picked up on the. On the mic spot we. Can read your questions yeah. So it would be a lot of fun and it's also a good way to to, you know, meet in person and all of that.

Yeah. But yeah, we have, we have a big catalogue, man. We've been doing this for a long. Time way too long now first of all, for those of you who are like, you know what I needed to now don't worry, Spotify does have a function of more like this. And just to let you know, yeah, what level of quality we are working with, OK, people first of all these first more like this that we get. Yeah, is abnormal. Spotify knows, yeah. Yeah, like they're like they're on point.

I don't know if it that says more about us or our audience to be. Yeah, exactly. Well, it does both one part of it. Yeah, exactly. Someone's messing up over here. Yeah, someone's doing it because if we're both abnormal, we'll neutralize each other. And to be normal, Yeah, but both as a normal, be normal. So someone's fucking abnormal here, right. So that's the first thing I tell you that you're getting. We got abnormal as a first suggestion of what people want to listen to.

If you don't listen into this now, I don't understand the the third one. I got the grad coach podcast. Yeah, we we have the same list. Yeah, we have the same list. So, grad coach. Yeah, the grad coach. This is unpaid. Promo right here. On the Grad Coach podcast, we talk about all things academic research related. It is actually. It's the exact opposite of our podcast, Yeah. Exactly more unlike this. More like. Exactly. That's pretty funny.

I think maybe the algorithm picked up that like, OK, if you guys need like if your brain cells are dying listening to these two idiots, Yeah, here's like science based podcast. Exactly like probably for all we know the Grad Coach podcast every episode listen to our episode and debunks everything we said. Yes, exactly that would be.

Pretty cool, right? Yeah. Now my favorite 1 though, is that if you Scroll down a little bit, you will notice a logo that I'm sure many of you are familiar with, whether it's on our money or in around town. The macro brief by HSBC Global Research. Wow. Now, I want to say we talk a lot of shit. Yeah. And this is really on point. Yes, agreed. Talking out of our ass, but we don't really know what we're talking about. We sound like we do. Yeah. This is the macro brief by HSBC

Global Research for sure. Yeah. So this is not sponsored by HSBC, but they're very welcome to get in touch and and try to sponsor. We'll think about it. Alternatively, if Standard Chartered versus the sponsor US, we will continue bashing Correct the macro brief by HSBC Global Research for all you know you want any bank. Any bank, actually. You want anyone with money? Yeah, exactly. If you have a Piggy Bank exactly, you will be considered as a. Person you're in the running?

Yeah, exactly. Our economics, economics strategists and analysis analysts share their insight, views, and ideas to help guide your outlook. Subscribe now. Oh wow, I mean. Whatever, they have five star review, but they only have 8 reviews. Yeah, we actually we are doing way better. Thanks to everyone who leaves the rate rating by the way, that's been super cool. Very high rating of 4.8 of 44 reviews only on Spotify. Yeah and we're at like 4.9 on on I-2 and so we're doing very

well. Yeah, thanks to everybody. I'll tell you something though, like what I have learned so far listening to all these intellectual podcasts that climate conversation in the UK are definitely about corporates and all prices are pressuring everybody because the gold rush, as you can see from every title I'm just reading off of this list, is emerging markets getting a boost over here. And the most important thing we need to know the Fed goes big, right? That's all I'm going to say

about the Asus you sound. You sound so smug, right? The Fed goes big. I mean, that's the name of the episode, so I'm just like reading them off. There is also like, it's a big range because there is also 3A tennis show, yeah. And that is? This is the challenge to evil. Yes, we're going to look at everyone of the more like this and we're going to come up with a reason why it makes sense that they're more like us. That's going to take too long. Okay, that's right.

Well, I'll leave it on just the three. The tennis show definitely bouncing ideas. Bam, nice, nice. Okay, we can do one more. Let's go more. What about the Tin Man podcast? Now I think tin. Man is all one word. Yeah, No, that's very important. Yeah, The Tin Man, the Tin Man podcast. Now I just want to let you know that this is in fact a Chinese podcast and this podcast never happened because it in 1989, wherever the year the Tin Man never ever happened the podcast. Never.

This podcast is now cancelled by the NSL. Exactly. Actually, the description is quite funny. Yeah. I don't think it means to be funny, but it's like one of those like, oh, you're a man. So the description reads, you are men. You are not toxic, problematic or defective. Honest, unapologetic and progressive advocacy for men and boys. The end. This is so good. Now I want to, I guess. Yeah. I mean, let's put it this way, I'm going to just randomly scroll and pick one, OK? Oh OK.

It's not fair. They only have like what, 12345? Yeah, Yeah. Like I think, yeah, Spotify only recommends podcasts that are currently active. Yeah. So if it's like a dead podcast, and that's, I think that's what I learned as well in this game. A lot of it like, also like stand up. Yeah. Which is like, it's just a language, everything. It really is. Yeah. You just keep doing it.

And like, there's so many people on the Internet, someone will find you interesting as long as you keep doing it. That's true. So many that just like, get bored or die out or expect, like result immediately, they're like, oh, how come they look at the results? Like, oh, yeah, no, 5 people listen. Fuck this. Like, just keep doing it. Yeah, yeah, absolutely. You don't even have to be very good. I mean, for stand up, you have to be good because people are buying tickets.

But for podcasts, I promise you, you do 100 episodes, someone will listen. Yeah, there's someone who is basically, literally trying to kill time. Yes, exactly, all the time. I mean, if it wasn't if, if that theory was not true, you I can tell you the bike talk would not. Exist. OK. Bike talk, I think that's actually there is a lot of like bike community is quite big. Yeah, I think we might have. Mentioned this podcast. Let me let me let me reverse that.

The macro brief by HSBC Global Research would definitely not exist if it was not people trying to kill time. People try to kill time, and I think I actually expect here is a wild theory based on absolutely no information. Yeah, I think in in our lifetime podcasting as an industry is going to take over music. That's actually, I think that's OK. That's a valid that's a valid

thing based on no research. OK, well, you know what I what's gonna happen is that that day will happen and we're gonna remember this episode when we talked about it. Yes. And the all we can do is at best is just tell people I told you so yes, that's the best. And we're gonna do that. We get definitely.

There are people, I'm not using myself and just myself, but I am. I know a lot of people in my life who listen to either more podcasts than music or pretty much stopped listening to barely listen to any music altogether. When they're killing time, they just put Podcast True at the background. Because this is. That's actually me now. I'm like 5% music, 95% podcast. You know what, I think that is definitely an age state because let's be very honest, when you do listen to music, yeah, you

don't listen to shit anymore. No, no. No. Absolutely not man. Like I really I literally get annoyed with myself sometimes. I'm like I have my Spotify, it has new new release radar and shit. Dude, my new release is Rihanna. Like, that's like Rihanna when she was. When she was still new, Yeah, yeah, which. Is still like, not Rihanna now. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Like Rihanna for me is like, you know, 2010. Oh yeah. Oh yeah, Her old shit. That's dude, like, yeah, that's cool, Yeah.

Or like Lady Gaga. Like I'm talking about like the new, of course we might have mentioned this on the on the podcast. I'm looking at the lineup of clock and Flap. Yeah, I have no idea losing the shit like that. Suede is coming. I'm like I've literally never heard this word. Before Suede, I have his way back as MTV Times. Yeah. But everything else, like honestly, I see the posters on my eye.

Honestly, I do not. Hot Ones, which is one of my favorite shows, just featured Korean like AK pop star. She's very cute and her her promo is pretty cool and I'm a fan of the show so I would watch her anyway. And then I'm like, Oh yeah, she's probably like an upcoming K pop star. 80 million followers. She has almost more followers than like my entire country. She has like 10 Hong Kongs man. Yeah, yeah, yeah. She's 10, Hong Kong, just one K pop star.

I'm like, ah, right, that's it. God, yeah. The level of influence that she has, Oh yeah. Like, can you just imagine? All she has to do is literally like just pick up a bag and put it on one of our posts and like they just sold like 8 million of them. Oh yeah, Oh my God. Yeah, yeah. These people also like, yeah, to get paid to like go to a

restaurant to like right there. Imagine getting like just like being offered so much money you could just go and eat in a place or just show up. Flat iron steak, everyone. Flat iron steak is is one of our friends. Exactly. Not a sponsor, just a friend.

Study not friends with benefits literally so yeah that OK OK OK so so far so good we've established that we are getting old we've assumed that we do this for a long time we've established that spotify's algorithm isn't the most ideal yes and the best and the best thing we. Actually, this, I like this one, this one, Airline Weekly Lounge. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And Airline.

The editors of Airline Weekly discussed the most interesting developments within the commercial airline industry, and keeping with Airline Weekly style conversations generally center on one question. How do the How do you make money in this industry presented by American Airlines. I'm actually I would genuinely subscribe you. Know what? I this to my rotation. Eventually, anything, this was just them recording the meetings at American Airlines. Like, how do we make money from

this? Yeah, like, look at our airplanes. Look at how we do stuff. I like, I generally like the like I'm interested in the aviation industry just in general, but like there is like like there is one for example, Emirates earnings and booming Brazil and yeah, yeah, it's like. Now I'm curious the the airline industry, if you were to be anywhere on the airline industry except the plane, you can't be on the plane, what part of the industry would you like to be?

Like ground staff, you mean? Wherever anything to do like it could be travel agent this and that but. Not on the plane, yes. You can't touch the plane. You like that you, you can't be in the plane. Let's put it that way, right? You can touch the plane, yes, but you can't be in the plane. I like the guy at the airport who waves. With the waving stick guy and the waving stick. Yeah, I like that. Telling these pilots who have been trained for hundreds of

hours. Yeah, By the way, it's this way. They just. They just flew from Hong Kong. Yes, all the way to another country. Yeah, yeah, yeah. How they go to like? Australia, yeah, but it needs you to tell the way they park. So they keep going, yeah. Yeah. Am I? Am I, am I good? Am I good like we? Actually have the same guy who helps you park the car? Yeah, at home. And he, like, it's basically like a shakedown.

Yeah. Like you have to give him money otherwise you come back and they keep the car. Exactly. Maybe that's. What that guy? Maybe that's this guy is shaking planes down. Yes, yes. Like the pilots are like, fuck, man, he's going to take my plane away, man. You come up with no plane has no wheels. Fucking asshole, man. You took my wheels off, dude. Oh, my God. That's what it is. I've always wondered. I'm like, why do you need this guy assistant?

Yeah, like, why is this guy with who sticks go Like, dude, you see the size of this plane? I just kind. Of like for our friends, there is a bunch of pilots who listen to this. Like literally, I don't want to name names. Yeah, there's a bunch of them, our friends or pilots right in and tell us why does why do you need this guy when you, Yeah, you're 100% literally you just fought like storms and shit. Yeah.

Turbulence bird in the clouds You literally like I said, hijacking yeah you've flown from a place yeah while the globe is turning yes. You've had to put that into your calculation yes. You've flown up, landed after like 1213 hours, you've landed on ground again. Yeah, everything's good, people are alive. You just carry like a more than like 2-3 hundred people and. It's also not regular wheels. I have no idea how this. Was exactly Yeah, yeah, it's insane, right?

And then and then you get there and you have the lo and behold, this guys got 2 sticks. You know and. Goofy headphones, Goofy headphones. He's listening like fucking some Rihanna song, probably listen to podcast. He's so bored. He tried to kill some dime. Yeah. And he's just like, where do I want to park? Like this is not double parking, you know, It's not Valley service. Just waiting to like, stop. Yeah bro, it's a pilot. He knows how to stop. Exactly. Yeah, he just literally.

Is it because the pilot can't see like on the nose? You know what I mean? Like doesn't know the exact spot because obviously you need the so the runway, not the runway whatever the. If the pilot can't see, yeah, I know the bumper, right? Yes. OK, Now this is the thing though. If truly the pilot could not see how far out the nose was, yes, that guy should not only just wave those sticks, you know while you're parking the the plane what the guy should do.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Just tap the plane, yeah? Yeah, yeah. He do the final pack. That's basically what the parking assistant does for a car. Yeah. Like he's like, all right, yeah. And back home, like, yeah, it's like, yeah, I think. That's what it is, right? Yeah. And then this guy does it. Everybody is getting off the plane. He's like sitting there having a smoker. All safe. All safe. Yes, you need that. So I think I would do that job because it's useless and I like

useless job. Okay, what would you do? I would do luggage man. Luggage for sure man. That's a proper workout. No, no, no. Yeah, yeah. But what I'm saying is I can choose. How do people have to be bowed down to me, right? Like think about the power I have. I can like, look, look at people. And when I see shit, like it says fragile. I'm like, fuck you. Oh, my life is so fragile. I bought shit without thinking, you know? Oh, no. Letting you know. Please be nice. Yeah. Oh, who?

What makes you better, man? What makes you more entitled to me handling your bag better Because you, you made the judgement call that I think the shit inside there is a bit more sensitive right to gravity versus everyone else. If anything, I see that shit. I'm like, oh, I'm sorry, yeah. Did you do anything extra for me when my fucking, my heart was fragile? I'll take out all that emotional anger I have right when I take a fragile stick around me.

You know what they did to me? They kicked my ass, you know, and I just pick that shit up and throw it. Yeah, I would definitely do that. I would also, and hopefully that job covers a few things. Number one, I would drive the car with all the luggage. That's pretty bad. Yeah, that's cool. So I hope that job includes driving the car with luggage. Yeah. Getting off, putting the luggage from the car into into the belt. Yeah.

And then there's always, I believe, this guy inside the plane that puts the suitcases inside. Now, now, technicality. Can't go inside the plane, but I'd like to be the guy doing the Tetris of like, dude, dude over there, yeah. Yeah, yeah, that's pretty bad. That's fine. It's like it's like adult Tetris. Yeah, You know, and like, it'll be pretty cool when you like literally fit everything and you're like, whoa, dude, it's just. Nice. It just, Oh my God, it's.

Actually thought of another one, the ground stuff, the person checking people in because I would just keep upgrading people just like make make people's. Days. Yeah, yeah, yeah, they know. Like you're the guy. Like, look, yeah, look at the like the poorest person, the person is like the most miserable. I'm like, you know what man? Yeah, just go to 1st class. Yeah, it's fine. Yeah, Yeah. Yeah, yeah. Oh. My God, Oh my God, you're a hero.

Yeah, I would, you know, I would probably do, I would probably like do business class, yeah and try my best to have there must be some sort of record of like this guy is a frequent flyer or not. Right. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And like what I would do is the ones who fly enough, I'd probably be addicted to them because let's be honest, man, they're probably not going to change because of comfort. Yes, Whereas the first time flyer, I'm like, dude, man, I get you, man.

You know, you must have worked hard and everything when you're playing business class like as normal. I'm like. You're very entitled. You're entitled. Yes, yeah, you know, whatever. You feel like, yeah, but we owe you something. Yeah, but the guy. Yeah, you're right. Like if you if you can see a record of someone who has never flown. Yeah, and like, dude, I got you, man. Yeah, yeah, super cool.

Yeah, that thing. And the the other thing I would do is I would if I were the check in counter guy, I would keep a tally of all the people that didn't use their luggage Coda. Oh yes, you get it. Like, you know, the, the business class, like 40 kilos, whatever, right? And this guy missed 40. So I have AI have a a buffer of that literally 400 kilos. Yes, people come to me, I charge them, but I cut it off my buffer. You get it.

Yeah, I mean, I do my own little like discount version, yes, you know, and like like I yeah, that'll be just fun, you know. I mean it would be fun, Yeah. No harm. No, no, no foul, you know. Well, there is foul was still no harm. Yes, which is why we don't have those jobs. We would never. We are stand up people and we would never do that to. We're stand up citizens too. Literally, but that's what we are We let's see, that's our job. Stand up. You see.

All right, let's come back to let's come back to our podcast and we're talking about over here. So again, if you're on Spotify right now, go to our episodes guide and just keep scrolling down, scrolling down and you will notice like our episodes. First of all, every episode has its own unique thumbnail, OK? Some extremely creative, some, you know, clearly, like, dude, you just took up a selfie, whatever. But this is all down to

remembering. The point is every thumbnail has to be unique in its own way, OK. And somewhere related to the episode. Yeah, I I do them and it's quite fun because, like, technically, I'm sure legally wise, I guess many of them would be considered legal because, like, just Google Images. But again, you know, I mean, let's be very honest. Whoever I took that image from and put our faces over, you're welcome.

Yeah, exactly. Now you have that's yeah, some of them are like like, you know, you send them to me and I upload them and like episode 114. Yeah is you carry me. Ohh, yeah, like that on the beach. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. So basically these are the things that now people do might wonder, like what's your inspiration? How do you get all this kind of stuff? And it's real simple. Basically, I take the one little topic I do remember of the episode after we record it.

And I quickly try to find something like that. And I try my best to find a photo with only two people in it because I don't like having photos with like 5 people. I just throw two of our faces, of course. Yeah, that's one thing. However, usually if we have a guest, it's usually we are creeping up from behind them. But that's that's my, that's one thing. Yeah, it's like your go to. Move.

Yeah, go to move. The other one is obviously me basically trying to find some sort of context, like the carrying, for example. Let me go over here to episode. All right, Is Bali good? If you go to Is Bali still any good? 140? Yeah, you will see the two of us. And I try to even give a context where you're the guy and I'm the girl. Right, right. Yeah. Like I didn't get like, you know, making sure that was kind of. Jacked on this one. Wow. Yeah, man. Yeah, dude.

So again, for all of you who basically don't listen to the podcast, you can try looking at the podcast. Yeah, you can look. At the podcast, and you will actually eventually be looking at the podcast when we have the studio, Yeah, which we are equipping right now with the Patreon money. Yeah, patreon.com/show about. We have everything in except for the cameras. We got the lights. And we got all the lights and the areas there, the lights are there.

It's just the cameras trying to work out and trying to make it all happen. Yep. But yeah, now MO, real quick, is there 1 episode thumbnail that you particularly remember or that stands out for you, that you you like? Because I remember there's one I'm going to scroll because I remember what it is, but I'm trying to find what number episode it is. But do you recall anyone by any chance?

I think there is a few that like, you know, because the process is like you said, like we record you, you edit, not edit, but like you send them to me and and then I upload them and you're showing me one. I think there is, yeah. I really enjoyed that one with Annie with The Simpsons. Yeah. What number is that? It was 171. We shot an ad for Samsung in Hong Kong. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

And for some reason I don't even remember anymore, I guess Annie was on and the episode that the title does not reflect at all what the art. Is, but I I recall this one because there was three people I was trying to like combine because I think we were talking about how like APU. No, we were doing the accents, man. Oh. Yeah. That's right, yes, That's why I was, I was APU. Yeah, that was actually, by the way, that's only like 4 months ago. I think it's just like we do too

much. We do too many things, man. We can't remember. But no, my, my absolute, my absolute favorite thumbnail would be episode 176. Yeah, called We got robbed at the prestigious Westin Hotel in Kuala Lumpur. And I remember that one about Utah, about the suitcase, the new earphones and everything. And of course, what do I go over there? I get a picture of if you look at the small thumbnail definitely does not look at look like what it looks. Like. What?

I look like the big thumbnail? Yes, exactly. Yeah. So basically me trying to rob MO who's trying to do some hammer work. Yes. But actually if you look at the small thumbnail, it looks like you are fingering me. Exactly. So again, these are the things that This is why we tell you listen to the whole episode.

There's a bit of context. Yeah, of course, episode 180 is when we we went to the Olympics. Remember that time we went all the way to Paris and we were all like, Oh yeah, I'm going to win something? No, I'm going to right. Yeah, we, we got some medals over there. That was pretty fun. And let's move on to this one over here where we turned into Pandas Episode 1. Eight. Oh, yeah. I love this one. This one made me laugh. Yeah, this is the one. And 1:51. I like it just because of the title.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Because it's on the 1st of January and it says 2024 is going to be different. This is fantastic. Yes, we're coming to the end of 2024. Exactly. And what's the difference about that? No, it was exactly. Well, we have got a typhoon big enough to worry people. We're not worried, But to annoy people in November, yes, I guess that was different. That's the best, Yeah. But otherwise, yeah. Hong Kong, yeah. It feels relatively, I mean,

it's a good thing. It's like, you know, the word is kind of in shambles. Yeah. So the fact that you're like, oh, at the end of the year and let's, let's not jinx it. There is still time for things to go wrong. Shambles. Yeah, it's a shambles. There's time for shambles to happen, for shambles to take place. How are you shambling today? Are you shambling? I'm shambling. So, but yeah, like the fact that you can be like at the end of the year, go like, Oh yeah, all

right. That was was like a piece like, you know, it's fine. Everyone did their work. Nothing happened. Yeah, I I tell you, no disasters. No disasters like. We don't have, again, like touching all of the woods. Yeah. No disaster like nothing. Yeah. No, no pandemic or whatever, Yeah. No pandemic, No like crazy political scandal. Yeah, well, I mean, scandal, No, but like a big jump in the US election. No, no, I mean here. Like here. Yeah, yeah, affecting us or whatever.

Hey, actually, you know what? I completely, I forgot. I don't know if you're into this. Are you into the the big Mike Tyson fight happening soon? Not really. You're not into that, no. I I generally don't like boxing much. I like UFCA lot. Yeah, as a casual. Yeah, like. Super like whatever, but like boxing I have a problem with just that hitting on the head thing. Like. Like you can make the same argument for UFC, but I think there is a bit more of an art to it.

Yeah. There's also like there's like body shots and stuff. Yeah, yeah. You're not just hitting. Someone you're not aiming for the head so much. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I have a big problem with. That. And I like, you know, now I went back to JJ, so it's like, I understand, you know, like martial, like, I like martial arts, yeah. But boxing is like kind of a line for me. Just in terms of. CTE. I'm very. I'm very. Yeah, yeah.

That I get. Yeah, yeah, I don't, I mean, I'll put it this way, that, that, yeah, put that aside. Yeah. The the whole thing with, I think like the Mike Tyson fight happening this Saturday. Yeah. Because you know what, the thing that did it for me is that documentary. If you go to Netflix now, they have a documentary the the running up to the fight. Oh, nice. That's really good, man. When you see that, you're like, whoa, this. Well, Jake Paul is basically like what? What the WWE?

Oh yeah, his. Brother eats as a heel. Yeah, I'm saying like, they just built him up as a heel. Oh yeah, Yeah. And he fully embraced it. Yeah. Which is like, nice. Good for you. Well, let's be very honest, when you live in like a like a $80 million mansion and you pretty much can do whatever you want and everything and people don't like you like, yeah, it's OK. But he's doing difficult stuff. That's the thing. Like when you. He'll be lazy about it, like. 60 or whatever, but still.

But like, yeah, you got a joke? You're gonna be like, yeah, I'm gonna have a professional boxing match. Yeah. That's not something like there is this other guy, the YouTube or what's his name? Mr. Beast, He's just going around doing like random charity work, which is also good. Yeah, but he's not taking up like something like crazy. Changing.

I think that's also comes down to if you look at the documentary and everything, Yeah, this is what I've learned overtime telling the Youtubers in general that honestly. And Bill Gates said the best he was. Bill Gates once said that, you know, at a certain point of wealth, the burger tastes the same Yes, you get it. You're not having a taste. Your McDonald's burger, it's the same burger, yes. You know, so in the same with these guys, you get to point you like, yeah, the fame and

everything is great. I live in Spanish but. Have money, yeah, but a lot of money. It doesn't fly private. Whatever. It doesn't do it. It doesn't do it and I fully understand that man. And I think that's the one thing, hence why you I. Fully not understand that. Yeah, yeah. Like no, the money would do a lot of money. Would do a lot, I say. How about how about you give me the money and then I get to feel the same? Way yeah. And then I start talking yes, exactly.

No, I get it. I get it as in like after some time, you're like, OK, it's fun. I can buy whatever I need to buy. But yeah, you know, I know I want to do something. Yeah, but OK. So put that aside then. We we were talking about the the previous episodes and everything that we we've done before. Now, do you remember in the beginning when we started doing this, a lot of things, like first of all, I believe even the mixer wasn't this mixer was a smaller mixer and everything.

Yes, Right. And the idea was just to have people interviewing and in the beginning, I don't recall us doing much homework or like discussing topics before the recording. It just naturally flow through each other already from before. So I think that that's the one thing that also people would be curious about that. So how do we come up with these topics and everything? And let's give everyone a little insight. You know what we're going to give them a, a, a, an, a bridge

version. Sure. So like, let's just say the amount of time it takes us to discuss the topic discuss on this episode. Let's give them a 10% version of it. Sure. So if you had to give us a give everyone a number, how much time do you think we normally spend discussing what to talk about? I think it's it's about 7 minutes. 7 minutes, right. That's a good proper comedy set. Yeah, right. So in around 770 seconds, yes. We had to tell people our full creative process. Sure. OK, very simple.

What happens? The number one, we have to discuss the time. Yeah, usually that happens on every Thursday. All right. Usually it's on my To Do List. It reminds me, hey, you need to set a time because you need to be done on a Sunday. Yeah. So it's usually me who's the first one initiating. Hey, we got to record.

Let's do this now what happens normally is by Thursday at least I would know my weekend schedules so I can and usually most the more flexible one I'm the more rigid like I only have this time most I'll bend backwards. File, sure. So, well, I never said that, but yeah. The paraphrasing. So then we schedule a time, right? We schedule, let's say 11:00 AM on on Sunday. Sunday. Yeah, it's about Sunday. And what will happen is that around 11:05 AM, MO will say one

minute away. It's pretty stung, though. Yes, Right. Right. Now, I say this with a lot of practices we record in my house. Yes. So technically I have an unfair advantage. Sure. Well, technically, yeah. I'm never late. Yes. Right. However, even though MO gives me the heads up, I'm like in 5 minutes out. Yes. I will still wait for him to arrive at 11:10 AM in the morning. Yeah. And then start moving. You start start. Setting. You piece of shit. Exactly. You've been here the whole time.

Yes, I literally told you 10 minutes. And also the house is not big. Not big. It's not all the way to the other end of it. You know, I was like, literally. And. And I'm sure I would go into the room that I have my stuff in. Yeah, many times before you showed up. So you show up, right. And without fail, I'll plug everything in and guarantee I'll sit down. Everything's plugged in. I'm like, SD card. SD card. Yeah, go back and get it.

Yeah. After almost 200 episodes, I still don't have the whole flow of making sure the SD card is there with me. Yeah, there is No 2 times that are the same. Yeah, never, right. It's never, never the same cable, never the same mic, whatever. It's always like, I'm putting you on line 1 and I'm on lines 4. It's like, why? Why? Yeah. OK. And then we sit down. We don't start talking into the mic, so we start discussing, Hey, so you know.

When we're discussing, we're actually usually have the mics on to like. Test and talk everything. So we're like usually talking like, OK, So what happened this week? Let's talk about this thing that happened, why we're talking to the mic, but the recording is not. On correct, yes, absolutely. So we're not recording, but we are doing the recording motion.

Yes, right. It's basically what we're doing is like many comedians, Well, people are on a comedy stage doing the comedy action of talking into a mice. Yeah, not hitting the punch lines. Yes, correct. Same concept. Same concept if. You want to see more of that the open mics. And the open mic and you might go go on. Someone told me, by the way, stop trashing the open mic. I'm not gonna. I'm not trashing the open mics. That's the point. Yeah, exactly. But it's also, yeah, it's just

like I'm having fun. Yeah, it's. OK. And also like look. Lesbian. Also, they're new. It's like, first of all, I didn't mention anyone. Someone who's like pretty established said like, oh, you know, I heard it as like, sounds kind of mean. I'm like, well, they're not good, sorry. Well, first of all, open mics are not to be judged and hence was pointing out as in that they're not good is very understandable for an open mic night anyway.

So hence we're not trying to say I'll go there, they're all shit. We're like, that's the point. We're setting people's expectations, too, in many ways, by the way, Like I go to the open mics every single week. And a lot of those, the news stuff that I work out is, can be pretty rough. Yeah. So you can see me having bad sets. Sure, so I have not been to an

open mind for quite a while. I've been going to every every week and God damn since whenever I'm in Hong Kong and it's like it's I have like, you know, whatever, 2530 minutes. Yeah, yeah, stuff. Like working on, not super tight, but like 2530 minutes of material that I rotate through the open mic and just work out and it's really cool. Fair enough. Yeah, Yeah. And that's exactly it. So like we're doing a little warm up banter or like this and that and this and that generally. How much?

How many percent sure are we on the topic or how we're going to fill the hour? I think that's up to the audience. I feel like less than 50% when we decide, like, OK, let's talk about, let's say, the American elections. Yeah, it's probably gonna be less than 50%. Yeah, on that topic, unless we have a guest that's different. Yeah, we have guests. We're very focused on that. Yeah. Because also the guests are there. We're like professional. And also we want to give them a

chance. It's pretty much already just given us a topic. Yes, because the guest is there, you know, like when Rachel was there last episode. Yeah, for sure. But you know, it's all about her. Storyteller, it's just like, you just kind of sit back and listen, yeah. But yeah, when it's like just us, yeah, they're like, okay, let's talk about the water drought. Yeah, Africa. Yeah, and we start the episode, we end up telling the planes. Yes, exactly. We're talking about whatever Elon Musk.

But that, in its own way, is the challenge. Because like not anyone, not everyone can keep up with that random topic and then have something to talk about. Yes. And also like the one other thing that people understand is a lot of people you want to do podcasts, let's just just start talking. It'll work. It doesn't really work that you

have to some sort of direction. Also, the challenge is can you bounce those ideas off of each other without being, you know, Oh, and I, I think this oh, oh, and me too, you know, and also to be able to sense the idea that, OK, this topic's not going, we can switch on to the other one. Or if there's something where like, for example, let's use this before we start recording, we're like, Hey, we can talk about all the previous episodes, some of the thumbnails and that

we started the episode. Tell my fucking planes. Right, right, right over there, people. So this is not a, this is not a clinical. This is also the same as like, you know, people who like whatever work together in any field for so long. Yeah, that you just go like, we'll figure it out, we'll figure it out. But also, like, there is no clunkiness, even if we're like between each other. Like I saw actually a music show the other day.

My friend was performing and they have done the same kind of sets so many times that I said sit with them after. And he was like, oh, that was weird. Like that one tone. I'm like, no one fucking. I didn't notice. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And it's like just between them, they can tell that like something was like took like half a second longer. And you guys are so well oiled. I think that's the word so well oiled that there's no chance anyone noticed that.

Dude, absolutely man, I'll give you that. It's. The same thing here. Yeah, we can. Just we can actually come in and not talk about. And go straight in and. Just go straight in and the listener is not gonna be like that was like we are the whatever. Exactly, I think that's also overtime. You're right. And I'll give you an example. Like lounge bands that get hired for private events.

Yeah, they have to be on point with that man yes, because any moment the organizer like oh, and and we have to start the next thing. They have to be able to wrap up that song. Yes, where the drums and the keyboard and everything can kind of like Dun Dun, Dun Dun. Yeah, they have to know that and the vocals like oh, right. Everyone will be back with my show. They. I'll give you an example, man.

I, I did a gig where they had the lounge band from the Conrad Hotel. All right, everybody, I've done many gigs. They've had many bands. All of them are very good. The Conrad Hotel band, I don't know which floor they're on. Yeah, probably like that where they have the high tea or probably. Yeah, dude, they are fucking magnificent. Really. My God, like, dude, like this crowd was not your. I want to be in this thing. They were like this crowd, you could tell we're like, they're

there because it's family event. Yeah, they're like, OK, we'll go sit on our table and just sit there and eat dinner and, you know, say hi to uncle and everything. Dude, this, this band got them into it where people got their phones out with like the little LED lights. Wow, waving. It was they were in such a that's crazy. I was like, dude, you got them because like they sang so well, man. I was like fuck. And I was like, OK, this definitely. Deserves a man.

OK, that's cool. Yeah, so if you have an Admiralty and you're like, where shall I go for some good music? Should I go Shangri-La? You say na, na, na, na, you go right next door, you go to Conrad. Yeah, yeah, I go check them out. Honestly, that was a great man. Now I don't know if they do that level of quality at the lounge as well, but man, that night I was like God damn dude, these guys. It wasn't a special occasion, it. Was just someone's anniversary.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. It was an anniversary party. Yeah, yeah. You know, OK, so was that, but basically that oh man it. Was, oh, there was a gig that we both did over the the week and, and without the details of it, there was one. I think you're, you know what I'm going to talk about the not just the band, the fire show. And. Those guys actually, yeah, well, I was, I'm seeing from them, right? And actually those guys do deserve a shout out. And I, yeah, I have them now on. Yeah.

So basically we we basically there's a fire show where they have sparklers and like proper legit fire. Yeah, there's also a person like one of the guys who I think is he seems to be Samoan or something. Yeah, I think yeah, yeah, Yeah, he actually, I have him on here. Yeah, he is Samoan. His name is Hogan Tuma La Tai and he is on Instagram. We can find them. And yeah, the whole performance is under a brand called Sea Leafy Fire Knife HK, Yeah, which you can also find online.

And those guys, that's also another thing is like, you watch it and it puts whatever you do in perspective and there's nothing is like better or worse. Like you can't be like, the joke is like, Oh yeah, I was like, oh, this is so difficult. They are difficult. But like they probably look at me like, why is this guy like that's? Crazy what he's doing. He's talking. Right. He's talking and he's right. Behind the fire. Exactly.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, exactly. So I stopped feeling that way after like, you know, you see, like a contortionist or whatever. Yeah. I'm like, Oh my God, she's eating swords and she's probably look at me. He's like, why is he doing this? This is crazy. I can never do that, yeah. I can never do that right. So it's the same thing, but like those guys just being so up because the cool thing about MC is that you're actually very close front row. So putting everyone away for safety.

But I got I guess our safety doesn't matter. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm very close because. If you die, the 50% balance doesn't happen. Exactly. And they're like they're. Like, oh, good, great. Yeah, yeah. But yeah, being so I'm also watching their workflow. Yeah, they have like, a lot of like, like towels and stuff. So between like sets, they just like, but they're so casual with the fire. Yeah. It's just like, it's just another day in the office. Like you did a Saturday, I did Sunday.

It's the same people. Yeah. Yeah. Which means they did the same set twice. It's like what? Yeah, it's like no big deal, like. No big deal. It's like, Oh yeah, another day in the office and they have the thing with like the round thing with like mini fire. Balls. And, and she's also like on crazy high heels, you know, for show and whatever. And I actually saw the person like almost getting burned a bit. Like, you know, he has a I'm. Sure, he's a little bit every

now and then. Yeah, yeah. Exactly. Yeah. Yeah. But he's like, again, complete professionalism. He's just like, here's the thing. When he's like doing basic, like a happy baby pose, Yeah. With like, fire on the both of his feet. Yeah. It's like, yeah, sure, dude. Yeah. You're like, do you know? Do you not feel? That's a burned baby. That's. Not he's not happy with burn baby pose. Man. I remember that.

Yeah, I was like, God damn dude. Like the thing was on on my net, actually, you know, the end because of the rain and everything, because they were outdoors, the power cut out. Yeah. So for the last segment they had no music. Wow. And they kept doing the whole thing. Oh my God, everyone just kept cheering and everything so cool. I was like, that is professional. Yeah, yeah, we had a clear night and there was music, but that I would have liked to see that. Yeah, I was there.

I was like, dude, that is another. That's when you like, dude, I'm doing my routine and what I'm doing exactly. And it was apparent thing, the guy, the the Chinese guy and the the girl they were doing. I think when the the power cut out, yeah, it kept going, man. Yeah, I was like, that is probably amazing. So good. Yeah. They're very, very good. Yeah, exactly. So I mean that that hence why again, like if they were just thrown in the corner, I do something like, all right, we'll

make it up on the spawn. We're going to do it. Yeah. Yeah. So I mean, as much as it's just flinging stuff around, but like there's a there's a certain you want of like you can't just randomly think stuff. There's a reason for flinging it this way so that that one compliments over there and like you have to stand. Like, for example, I remember watching Metallica, they would know for this song, you're

standing here for that song. I'm going to go over there and swap with you so they can see a bit of me as well. It's all calculated. Yeah, of course you saw the guy that. You're doing a show at this level? Yeah. It's like, you know, OK for this bit, I'm gonna be over here. I'm with a swap place. I took a photo with them that was on my stories. You can ask me for the gun. I will send it to you. Yeah. And it was just me and the three of them.

And Simone guy is basically what you imagine him to be. Big muscly guy, oiled up crazy tattoos. Yeah. Like scary motherfucker. Yeah. Yeah. And then the woman looking super bad ass and, like, leather suit. Yeah. And like, shorts and like holding the round thing. And then the Chinese guy leather. Pants and stuff. Yeah. And then I'm like, I'm gonna take a photo through them. And all I had in my my hand was a tiny rubber duck. This is like the most ridiculous

photo ever. Yeah, and they're kind of like, OK, let me guess. Yes, exactly. The funny one. Yes, exactly. It just showed everyone's everyone's job. So yeah. Absolutely, man. You can see it was a powerful one. Oh my God, yeah, no bad. So that's what I mean as an SO then. OK, let's come back to our episode now. So that stuff all happened now. We would then start recording the only cue we would have that doesn't change is that who decides to open up the episode

yes, right. You would you would have the one OK so basically you would have let's say if I say OK MO, you start what will happen is mobile. Then press this timer and so that he can keep track of the time so far because I have a timer on the mixer. And then MO will start with the hey everyone, this is the whole hey everybody, this is oh, I'm calling with me Mohammed Maladi and my. Impression the word. Exactly. And then I'll come back.

Hello. Hello. Right now I'll enunciate my words, probably. And OK, don't Vivek tell me what we're talking. About that sounds racist Vivek, tell me what you. I did tell me that that be I I I literally don't. I cannot do an accent, mostly because like, I don't I. Never. I don't have one. I have a very neutral. Very neutral. Very clear. Very clear neutral accent. But it's not the Roast Mohammed episode. I mean, it can be on the Live 10. You guys want to come and roast me a bit?

You're welcome to write down your roast. Yeah, write down I can imitate Mole exactly. You will be allowed onto the stage with the mic in your hand. Oh. Absolutely. Oh, I would love that put you on the episode. Yeah, yeah. We leave it on the episode, come up and do an impression of me. Hey everybody, I'm Mohammed. Mohammed, it's not that hard. It's Mohammed. The most famous player in the football player in the world right now is Mohammed Salah. Yeah, OK. It's so it's not Salah. Yeah.

Salah, the Brits say. Yeah, yeah, it's Salah. Salah, right, Right. The Hamad Salah. Yeah. And he is fantastic. There you go, check out. With them Hamad Salah in Liverpool, he doesn't need my plug. He. Doesn't need the plug. He is 80 million followers. He is no no. He is also on £350 a week salary. Has been on for the longest time. £250. £350,000. OK, yeah, £350 I got that dude. Yeah, I could buy him. No, 350 pounds a week, week and has been on that contract for,

yeah, quite a long time. For those of you who are not with the conversion. You are doing what every Egyptian person does, by the way. Yeah, that's like everyone sitting around the coffee shop. The only thing they do is check out and then convert how much Muhammad Salah is making an Egyptian pound. So it's like it's a common. Joke Yeah, yeah, yeah. He makes 500,000 Hong Kong a day, correct? OK. Yeah. So that means he has to spend $20,000 per hour. Yeah. All right, let's divide that.

So literally every minute he has to spend $347 every minute. Yeah, MO, let us try to spend $350.00 a minute. U.S. Dollars Oh Hong Kong. 'S US, no. No 300. 50 lbs yeah. So this Hong Kong dollars, 347 OK, 350, let's just say 300 Hong Kong dollars an hour. Yeah. So every hour, first of all, easy. You get up, you you get an Uber XL yes, wherever you have to go yes, 300 bucks. Just for kicks.

You take an Uber XL from, let's say, Hong Kong Island and go to Tin Moon just to work and go shopping. No, but you don't want to like, waste, like, you know what I mean? Like you don't want your money to work against you, no. No, what I'm trying to say, I'm trying to see. Can we even do it? You need to wait. Base it on a very high level. I see. Yeah. To hit $20,000 a day. Well, there is an easy one actually, and it's not as ridiculous. You can just take a helicopter to Macau.

Okay, that's still time, dude, That's okay. Hold. On I think it's like about 7 grand or something. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So that's two way. That's 14 grand or yeah. So you take here, it's super easy. You just take 7, take the helicopter to Macau, Yeah, spend whatever money left in the budget and the casino and then take the helicopter back. Done. Huh. OK, OK, OK, fix that. But yeah, but that's not really, you know, really buying shit like you have to hold on. You have to spend $20,000 per

hour. Oh OK, you can't even do that. I mean you can in a casino, but that's fucking ridiculous. Yes, $20,000 per hour. That's what I was making mistakes, that's why, right? Yeah, so 20. 1000 Hong Kong an hour. Basically, yes, yes, 20,000 an hour. Yeah, so and you have, let's say, waking up like 12 hours, not even. Then then, then it's even crazier, man, because like it's $500,000 per day, yes, no per week, no, per day, per day, by that, by let's say 12 hours, OK, yes, $40,000 an hour.

Oh, yeah, OK. You can't even, I mean, unless you really take all that money and go to Macau, which is just stupid. Yeah, you can still go to take the helicopter, go to Macau, eat at the nicest place, Yeah. And take the helicopter back and you still have have about. My. How about too much money left? The the the helicopter is 15 minutes. Yes, exactly half an hour gone there. Yeah. That means you like just the helicopter itself, OK? You. Yeah, because the helicopter was $4000 per way.

That's $8000. Thirty minutes. OK In those 30 minutes after spending 8000 bucks you just made $12,000 dude. Then you're on the like fuck Do you have infight purchase? I feel like, can I buy the news that he got horribly injured? I know it's because of this episode. It's all what we call the bad eye. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, but actually, again, we this is something super common that we do back home, I'm sure. Yeah, yeah. Whenever like you hear about our players contract.

Yeah. How much is this? How much is this? Is it local currency? What the actual fuck? Yeah, yeah, yeah. And now, yeah, it's the negotiation to really, you know, keep his contract. He's like the top player right now. There is a chance he might get a bigger contract. Oh no. And yeah, exactly. Well now with wouldn't take two helicopters. I want to be his agent, his agent, you know, it takes like whatever, 1015%. Take 1%, man. Yeah, yeah, yeah, fucking 1%.

Ridiculous, but if you don't have this kind of money, but you still want to have a good time, you can come to the live show. The live show is on the 5th of December at the aftermath and it's a very fun way to interact with us. And also we celebrate 200th episode. And if you are on the Patreon, even if you sign up one day before the 5th of December, you can come in for free and we'll throw in a free drink as well. on the House, on, on, on the on us. Yeah.

On the whole Hong Kong podcast company. That is not a company. It's under backstage comedy. Yeah. Lots of fun. We actually before we go, do you have Vivek? Do you have a favorite moment that you remember from the last, like from the podcast? From the podcast. Definitely our 100th episode, man, that is the park. Yeah, yeah, the Parkway. Man, that was fun. That was fun because like, we were just standing there.

It was COVID time, so it was kind of awkward where like we had masks on. Yeah. And we we were at the park just randomly recording and people were walking by. They were like, Oh yeah, that. Is cool that. Was really cool because we also had someone coming and tell a joke. Yeah. And then like someone took a photo of us. Yeah. And we did that as well. So yeah, that was really epic. We're like, wow. We that was cool. And we actually, yeah, exactly. We got recognized.

Some people came especially for it. Yeah, they knew that we're going to be in this park at that time and this we brought his full on cameras. Yeah, yeah, the. Crazy like old school camera from Jason, I think is the shout out Jason that that is cool. I agree. And yeah, you can see the art piece of it like the the the artwork of it and it's both of us in masks as well. 100th episode and I can't believe there is another 100. So everyone if you're holding something, have a drink to another.

If you are have your coffee he just another hundred more. 100 means about two years. Yeah, more or less 52 yeah, yeah, yeah, 2 two years and change. So yeah, we let's do a a few 100 more and then call it. When do you want to call it? I think we can call it at 2005. 100 I'm gonna call it at 88, eight, 888. OK. That's actually, yeah. That's a pretty good number because I I 2000 something, I'm sure we'll probably lose that shit by then.

Actually, I don't think the 2000 something is actually realistic. Yeah. Yes, that's in like. 100 is 2 years, right? Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. So like that. 2000 is like 20 years. Yeah, Oh my God. I mean, hey, man, like, possible Rogan did his podcast in a basement for the longest time. Yeah. Literally just getting high with his friends. Yeah. They would just turn on the laptop and just start recording. Yeah. And look where he is.

So, you know, he has decided basically the American elections and now that Kamala Harris, not to live on a weird note, but like her campaign is like kicking themselves or not going with the podcast. I don't agree with almost anything that guy says, but the power that he has is something that I'm like, God damn, that's cool to have this kind of like platform. I think not, that's insane. Not necessarily the direction, but the platform itself is like,

damn, that's cool. So yeah, hey, who knows man? Maybe we can decide the the future of something. We'll see one way or another. Yeah. What? Let, let, let, let episode 200 happen, Yes. And we can decide from there. We can decide. From there, thanks everyone for all the support, jump on the Patreon, see us live and hug each other. Bye bye.
