Episode description

Charles Bronson was never far away from trouble. Even as a teenager, he had a lengthy rap sheet for robbery, assault and vandalism. He was once fired from Tesco for attacking his manager. He even stole a truck before crashing it into someone's car. The driver wasn’t seriously injured, so he narrowly avoided serious jail time. In 1974, at the age of 22, he was arrested for armed robbery and given a seven year sentence. Bronson only enjoyed a few months of freedom over the next forty years, as he continued to violate prison rules, resulting in years being added to his sentence. As of 2024, Bronson has spent almost 50 years in prison.
