Episode description

It's been an eventful week in the world of politics on Britain. While the UK Government has spent the week self-immolating, work in the Senedd has been carrying on as normal and the work of legislating for creating a larger parliament with more members has begun. This, of course, follows a decision at Labour conference that was hard won by the First Minister in the face of opposition from some MPs, unions, and constituency parties. We thought it would interesting to take a long look not just at the decision itself but at the complex way that it had to be made in line with the Labour Party's web of rules. To help explain and share some insight from the conference floor, we are joined by: Cllr Jennifer Burke-Davies: https://twitter.com/jenb_davies Tom Hoyles of GMB Wales & West: https://twitter.com/thoyles As always, do follow us on Twitter for the latest news: https://twitter.com/hiraethpod If you're enjoying the pod, please do leave us a rating and review in your podcast app of choice.
