Episode description

The long-running boundary review for UK Parliament constituencies has reached another milestone as the Boundary Commission for Wales has published its proposals for its final round of consultation. Famously, this will see the number of UK Parliament MPs elected from Wales reduced to 32 from the current 40, based on the rules set by the UK Government. This means that there are no easy decisions (except the protected seat of Ynys Môn) and we thought it would be great to catch up with one of our favourite guests Shereen Williams (CEO Local Democracy Boundary Commission for Wales & Secretary, Boundary Commission for Wales) to discuss the proposals. You can find Shereen on Twitter here: https://twitter.com/ShereenWilliams Boundary Commission for Wales here: https://twitter.com/BCommWales Local Democracy Boundary Commission for Wales here: https://twitter.com/LDBCW And for all the latest from Hiraeth, follow us here: https://twitter.com/HiraethPod If you're enjoying the pod, please leave us a rating and review in your podcast app and, if you are able to do so, consider supporting us from just £3/month: www.patreon.com/hiraethpod
