Episode description

In this episode, we talk with Phill Monson an advocate for cleaning up our lands, founder of Adventure Responsibly, and most recently author of the children’s book Nigel The Litter Hunter. Phil shares his background about how the principal for Leave It Better was taught to him at a young age. He also shares some of the most significant moments that encouraged him to advocate for our lands further. Advocating for our lands also means educating people about the lands and the places we travel. We discuss simple ways people can be more educated.  Through the character Nigel, Phil gets the message out in an entertaining, positive and humorous way to the next generation of young stewards who will care for our lands. Nigel The Litter Hunter is currently on Kickstarter and the campaign is open until April 16th, 2020.  If you like this episode and want to support this book further, go check it out and consider making a donation!
