Episode description

In this episode, we talk with Hannah Eaton.  After years of experience leading wilderness retreats and working in various therapy settings, it was time to dive into her passion.  She is a licensed marriage and family therapist and the founder of Sequoia Immersions based in Seattle, WA.  We discuss what brought her two passions together to create Sequoia Immersions. The company has many aspects but our interview with her focuses mostly on the wilderness immersion retreats. Through outdoor wilderness retreats, she gives couples or individuals the time and space needed to work on problem-solving and communication; skills crucial to any healthy relationship. We also discuss some personal adventures with her husband and the ways they've grown as a couple over the years, the tools they integrate into their relationship, and what it’s like to work alongside her husband during retreats.  This also got us talking about our own journey in our relationship during the post-interview.  If you are seeking to gain a deeper connection in your relationships or within yourself and the outdoors, this episode is a good listen for you!
