Step Out In Faith
Episode description
Greetings, and may grace, mercy, and peace be multiplied to you. We will be in Romans 12 today. What does it truly mean to sacrifice? For the apostles, it meant sharing the Gospel under the threat of death or persecution. These days, persecution to most means getting made fun of for what you believe, or getting into an argument with someone online. Most of us have never experienced true persecution in our lives. In some parts of the world, speaking the name of Jesus would be a death sentence, and yet we’re afraid to say that name in front of our neighbors, coworkers, or even our family members. My challenge to you this week is to embrace the uncomfortable, and step out in faith.
“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28 19-20
Don’t forget to pray for one another, especially during these uncertain times.
