Often confused with a movie bearing the name the Great Train Robbery, and assumed to have taken place in the American west, the Great Train Robbery of 1963 was actually the largest heist in the United Kingdom to that point and referred to as the crime of the century. 

Featuring a large crew and seemingly ripped right out of the movies, this heist inspired a great deal of myth making. All this and more on Highkey Obsessed!
