Episode description

Despite more women attending – and graduating – college than men, the average American woman still earns just 83 cents to every dollar a man does. In her latest book, “Career and Family”, economic historian Claudia Goldin says that, contrary to popular belief, discrimination doesn’t actually explain the wage gap. And that unless the structure and culture of work shifts, wage inequality is unlikely to go away.
