Ep 153 – Working Title

It's a big one this week! We've got a massive show for you this week, so loosen up! This past weekend Mr Australian Leather 2023 Shane @leatherman_shane hosted the Title Holder Q &A Panel at the Laird Hotel. The event aimed to  dispel myths and misconceptions about running for a title in our local community - and to impart some wisdom from current and former title holders to the next generation. The panel included Mr VicBears 2023, Jonny @mrvicbear2023 Ms Melbourne Rubber 2022 Delsi @delsicat Mr Australasia Bear 2022, Damien @sailor_bear_86 Melbourne Rubberman 2023 Joel @rbrjoel International Ms. Leather 2018, Sir Ang @thegirlang and Shane’s cohost with the most Laird Leatherman 2021 Craig Burnett @white.dragon.339 Thanks to the Laird Hotel for hosting this event, and for letting us tap into their AV system! The event also hosted a raffle and auction, which the team from Hanky took out - securing the denim vest owned by Patrick Brookes which he wore when he won  IML -  becoming the first and only male Australian International Mr Leather in 1980. Huge shout out to the Hanky team for raising $4100 for the David Williams Fund! This episode was recorded on the lands of the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung peoples.
