Intro / Opening

Miranda, hi. Pull yourself together. We have work to do. And by we... I mean you're not going to be able to do Straight, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Trucci. What TJ Maxx? I am the new features editor at Runway. No, you are not. Icon. Ryan Forever. Cheers. Wait, wait. Wait, I hope to God that's not what you're wearing to the dinner. Directed by David Franco. This podcast is brought to you by Australia's LGBTQIA Plus community media organisation, Joy. Wants to play a game.

Is this hide and seek? Are we really gonna Go with the sex perks, hide and seek. I'm too sexy for my love, too sexy for my love. Love's going to live. How are you, Craig? I'm good. How are you, Tim? It seems like you, Michael and I are just playing a round of musical cheers on and off each week. Yeah. It seems that way we can never get a full house, can we? No, but uh hopefully next week. Let's see how it goes. Yeah.

Rocco's Global Travels and Content

That would be really, really nice. Now, speaking of households, Rocco Steel has become a bit of a household name in our circles, and we do have the man on the line all the way from Taipei. Welcome to Hide and Seek. Rocco Steel. Hello, hello. Hello, hello. How are you? It has been quite a while since we last spoke, I believe around six years. Yeah, it's been six years. I cannot believe it. I know, and you've been on a bit of a journey, quite literally living all around the world.

That's that is correct. So since the last time we spoke, well, the last time we spoke, I was living in the States, which is where I live my entire life. Uh I got married in twenty eighteen, which was before I was in uh before our last interview. And my husband's job takes us overseas. So we've been moving around since twenty nineteen, end of

End of twenty nineteen, right before a few months before COVID hit, we started going overseas and living overseas. So uh we've been in um Malta, we've been Haiti, we've been in Morocco, we've been in Algeria, and now Taiwan. Wow. Has that made it harder or easier to create content with people? Definitely definitely harder. Yeah. Um Some places were more kind of conducive to Uh having access to content. So for example, you wouldn't think Algeria, which is a very

strict mos Muslim country, you wouldn't think that would be a a good place to get content. And it wasn't actually within the confines of Algeria. But Algeria was a forty five minute flight. to southern Europe. So I could go to Barcelona, I could go to Rome and with and Madrid, like I which I did. That was how I got content for like the years I lived in northern Africa.

So here it's a little challenging in Taiwan. There aren't as many content creators. I haven't found no nobody's reached out to me and I kind of put out a net. as I was moving here asking, you know, who are the content creators and nobody responded. So Um so I have to take like major trips now to get back to LA or you know, I'm gonna take advantage of uh when I'm down in Australia next week. So

Um but you know, it's just not enough to get enough content to keep me going. So I have to be really creative about filling in the gap. And keeping the audience interested, you know. Of course. So does that send you back to the states sometimes or you try to avoid that? It does send me back to the States, but I mean, and yes, I try to avoid that, but there really isn't anywhere else to go. Right. The States and Australia are the two closest kind of western uh

places to get content and not that I have to shoot with Western content creators at all. Like I'm perfectly fine. My my husband's half Taiwanese actually. So like Absolutely no problem shooting with anybody. So um I yeah, I mean I have to go to the States uh and I've since I've lived in Taiwan I've only been back to the States once.

Uh and to be honest, you know, now I not I don't really want to go back to the States. Like so there's that, you know, there's with everything that's going on doesn't feel like a welcoming place. Yeah. I don't blame you.

Australian Tour and ER Stories

Yeah. Um so you mentioned that you're coming to Australia next week or this week. Um where what tell us about your whirlwind tour? What's bringing you down here? How long are you here for? Um so I arrive next uh Wednesday, I believe, on the sixteenth. Uh my primary reason for coming down, uh, is that I've been booked uh to uh work at the thick and juicy party uh down there and but I'm also taking advantage of I'm extending my time beyond that.

in Australia and specifically Melbourne and going to create content while I'm there as well. Fantastic.'Cause I remember last time and that was six years ago as we just mentioned before, you were on a pretty tight schedule from memory. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. Yeah, same thing. I mean like I arrive on Thursday, we're gonna have rehearsals, um

Next time I arrive on Wednesday. We're gonna have rehearsals possibly that like as soon as I get off the plane. We're gonna have another on Thursday and then like Friday starts a the weekend of shows and parties and then I come back to it's a three city tour so I'll start in Melbourne on Friday. Sydney on Saturday, uh Brisbane on Sunday, and then on Monday I'll fly back to Melbourne and

stay there for like the next five days. Yeah, so like but while I'm there it is gonna be like collabs, which I only really do one a day, but it takes a lot out of me. So I Uh I I'm older. I'm much older. I'm not the man I used to be. Um the young whippersnapper. Um So yeah, so like I do like one collab a day and then uh go out to dinner at night or whatever. But Hopefully there'll be some more relaxing time this this time around.

Absolutely. I remember seeing you at the club and your dick was hard literally the entire time. That must get very tiring. It I mean I don't generally it does, but I remember like that specific night. like in at the party in Melbourne and like I had so much fun like after my job was kind of done on stage and I went out into the crowd and just joined the party.

And I was like my I was naked and my dick was hard. But I didn't even like I don't know, it was just a lot of fun and it didn't seem uh but typically yeah, to have your penis erect for hours on end. Uh isn't usually, I don't know, for me anyway a good thing. Yeah. Generally medically frowned upon. Yeah. Yeah yeah, I have been known to uh visit an emergency room or two uh to take care of that situation.

Uh yes. That was my next point. My recent partner gave me a birthday present and we ended up in emergency and it was a very memorable birthday. What was the present? are getting their penis strained. Oh, God, yeah. Oh, God. Yeah. I the first time I ended up in the emergency room was was that and here's a funny story. So my dick is Iraq.

Um I'm they bring me into uh emergency room and you know they have kind of like curtains that go around you but they are never like they don't usually block much because like the they're always in and out so the curtain's always left open. So at one point the doctor who was kind of deciding what to do brings in all of his uh what inter not interns, uh students residents, residents. President. Like residents. And there's about six of'em there with clipboard.

And they're all like looking at my penis and then writing things down. Were they all professional or d were some of them just like a aghast?

They were absolutely professional, which was so funny because I think they're like so new, fresh faced, young residents and they just wanna do everything right. So they're just like very intensely like Writing notes, whatever the doctor said and I just love the idea that like you're new at a job and then all of a sudden your boss is like, Hey, why don't you all just come and have a look at this massive park? Yeah. Yeah. But yeah I did I had the same thing. I had to have it drink.

That's it really is not fun. Can I say something really gross? I was so fascinated by the whole thing. Usually I'm a bit squeamish with certain things, right? But I watched the entire thing unfold in front of my eyes. I saw the draining, I saw the putting in of liquids and the needles and everything. And I ended up making a joke which probably shouldn't have been done at the r that time. It was So you said you wanted to get your dick pierced I didn't think you had this in mind.

And everyone cracked up. And he goes, Can you please not make a joke while the guy's holding my penis? like that. Did you get your dick pierced after that? Look up, my dick is already pierced. Oh okay. But he didn't I don't think. He's like, I've kinda gone through the process now, been there done that. That's funny. You're in hide and seek. We are with Rocco Steel and we are chatting about everything to do with sex tonight and porn.

And also he's down here for the thick and juicy tour. We'll be back next with a little bit more. We're gonna chat about the porn industry. This is hide and seek on Joy 94.9. I actually ran into two people that I knew. One of them was a guy I met at the gym and I gave him some advice on what parties to attend one long weekend.

And he's like, Oh, I recognise you after I'd sucked his dick. And another friend of mine was just wandering through on his way home from dinner. And you're like, waving out of one arm sticking out of a bush Get it any way you want it. Hide and seek. Now available as a quickie or podcast. Only at joy.com. Liards of Hide and seek. On Joy Ninety Four point nine.

Sobriety and Industry Longevity

You're with Tim and Craig here on hide and seek on Joy 94.9, and we are joined by the one and only Rocco Steel. Now, Rocco, you've been doing porn for a while now, so I'm sure you've learned a few things in your time. What's the biggest learning that has stuck with you?

I would just I don't know, this is kind of like the theme of my life, so I think it just kind of uh transcends to that area of my life as well, which is just be who I am, be true to myself, and uh Uh just the thing that comes to mind immediately is in all the years I was doing uh like filming and directing and um performances. I just always made sure to take care of my serenity and sobriety. So like those two are the most important things in my life. Um

Otherwise I don't have a life. So, you know, whether I would go to a show or I'm sorry, go to a gig and For example, I remember one time I was placed in a a dressing room with a bunch of dancers who were doing a lot of drugs around me and pouring things into their drinks and I'm like Oh.

called the I called the promoter over and I'm like, You've got to either get rid of them or find me another dressing room. Um and they did and I just kind of Uh you know I take care of myself and I take care of my sobriety um when I'm on the road and uh I like make it paramount. Uh, because you know, when you're when you're traveling around and you're very you can be think you can be very disconnected and you're kind of living in this party bubble, right?

Yeah. Um, so it's kind of really important to remember who you are. Uh and what's important to you uh during this time. Especially if there's like a lot of stuff happening around you as well. That temptation can always be there and be very strong. Yeah, I mean I've been sober twenty six years, twenty six and a half years now, and you know, it's you know, picking up is you know, is just one bad situational way. Like

I could be uh and I have been in situations where it's gotten kind of dicey and uh thank God I've come out the other side still sober. Um But you know, when you're in again these bubbles, especially like if I've been hired for like uh like a big circuit party weekend or a big gay pride weekend or something and there's just tons of activities going on and and you know, FOMO kicks in, even though like I try to like go, you know,

That's not who you are and you know, you're not a party per you're not a party person anymore. But sometimes you get caught up in it, you're like, Oh, you know, I I I wanna be, you know, with all these people and then, you know I I don't I never say like I wanna be at their level, meaning of like where they're at with their party supplies. But you just kind of like there's a lot of FOMO that happens when you're really kind of caught up in in weekends like that. So

Uh yeah. So I just learned my biggest learning is just take care of myself, be true to myself. I've been at sex parties recently and I've gone into them sober and it's a very different experience because you notice everything and you feel everything rather than Just being in a whole other planet. Ha ha ha. Yeah. Interesting being a a people watcher in those circumstances I like to watch.

Yeah. I uh that's kind of been, you know, my experience basically since I got sober, whether it's been, you know, having sex or going to parties or going to bars or clubs or whatever is that I yeah, you see everything and Um it's kind of scary, like, I don't know, like It's just it can get very excessive. Yes. I don't I don't judge it.

I I only judge it for myself. It's not right for me. Um but you know, you worry about people, you know. Um when you're there and you're sober and you're watching people just kind of like go downhill as the evening progresses. Aha. May maybe not in their mind. Maybe they're enjoying the fuck out of it. Ha ha ha. It does you know, for to me like standing back

standing, you know, outside of it and looking and observing like you said. So just like standing back and watching other people. I just it look Messy. And I think when you're in it, because I used to do that, right? I used to live in New York City, went out to all the clubs, blah blah blah. I was that person, and I was the messy person. That's why I don't drink anymore. Like that was me. So it's just very interesting and I actually it makes me grateful.

It makes me grateful that I just don't have to do that anymore. Like it doesn't make me a better person, anything like that. I'm so glad, like I know I'll go home at like probably one or two in the morning. Good night's sleep. And I'll wake up at like ten o'clock in the morning, nine or ten, and I'll have coffee and breakfast and I'll have a lovely day afterwards. You know. Do you think that's the key to longevity in this industry? Um I think so. There are people in the industry that like

They're just, you know, they've been in as long as I have and maybe even longer. And they're still going at that kind of Speed. Right. Um and It amazes me like how the human body can withstand that like year after year after year after year. I think I if you know, if I would have continued you know, back in nineteen ninety eight when I got sober, if I would have continued and not gotten sober, I I don't I can't imagine being alive now. Peace.

So to answer your question like um I think other people in the industry are f have figured out a way to continue and um uh make it sustainable so that they can have a sustainable like you know, career in the industry and still have their fun. Fair enough.

OnlyFans and Porn Industry Evolution

Fair enough. Yeah. Um so speaking of longevity in the industry, um, the porn industry has kind of like changed a little bit over the years with the introduction of like OnlyFans and and just for fans. Um, what do you think some of the key differences are with that and how do you think it's changed the industry for you? Um, I feel like it's uh A just becomes Uh It feels more competitive even though When I started I was like the last of the like studio like

solely studio performers. So I mean there's still studios now and people go back and forth. They'll do their OnlyFans and go to studios. But back then obviously there wasn't OnlyFans. So you could only do studios. And then there is only a small number of guys like for example in the United States um, who were hired over and over and over again by the studios in the United States. I don't know, I'd say thirty to fifty guys, right?

And you would think that that would make things more competitive, but I felt like if you f got in, if you got in like I did, then you kind of cemented your place. Among the studios, right? But now I feel like you know, the internet is constantly changing and social media and its trends and everything are constantly changing. And I don't ever want to be the person to say I'm too old for fill in the blank. But

I'm I'm a little too old to even so that's so much that I don't have the ability to do it. I feel like I'm still a smart guy. I don't really wanna keep up anymore, you know? So I feel like as I sit back and s uh, you know, sure, my business suffers, like my uh membership suffer probably because I don't keep up and I don't follow the trends. Like I for example, I never hire like a camera crew, I never hire a l a lighting person. I never I I just've always kind of you know, I'm a man of principle.

I'm like, Darn it, that's not what old fan or OnlyFans is all about. OnlyFans is all about like amateur porn and Filming with your cam with your camera phone, but like that's not what the audience wants anymore. Like it's almost like it's moving back to studio quality porn, having like a camera person or two, having a lighting person, whatever, and then also renting like beautiful spaces.

Like people will rent out Airbnbs in like really beautiful parts of the world and they'll have like group orgies and they'll have this or that or I I just I c I just don't want to do that. Rocco, my friend Dan down under, I don't know if you know him, he has a drone. And I am totally fascinated what he can do with that drone. Yes.

Yeah, so that's that's what I'm talking about. A lot of these guys have drones and they have so like the beginning of the video starts out with this beautiful like Beautiful landscape sweeping view. Hillsides going into the ocean and rainforests and It opens up to this like, you know, house with a swimming pool and all these naked guys, right? But like I'd be worried about how close it gets to my cock. All of a sudden I'm circumcised.

Yeah. Oh my god, could you imagine? Oh I mean God bless everybody that is working hard at this. But it didn't used to be that way. Yeah. Like you could literally lean your camera phone up against like you know, the lamp on the nightstand and hit start and that was only fans. But like I said, it's the audience wants more now.

I guess one of the things is like sex work is work and it's the work aspect to sex work. So like you've still gotta put energy and effort in in into these things in order To l kind of like, you know, please the audiences and push yourself apart from the others.

Yeah, one hundred percent. And then like, you know, making sure that you have the the teaser that's gonna catch everybody's attention and making sure that you post it at the right time of day so that you're capturing like the bulk of Americans and Europeans and you know, Australian. So like it's like trying to figure all of that out is daunting and exhaustive. Especially when you're in different time zones. Like we were just trying to figure out the interview time.

It's like Yeah, I was Oh my gosh. Exactly. Exactly. You're in hide and seek here at Joy94.9, Tim and Craig with you. We are joined by the incredible Rocco Steel. We'll be chatting more next. Next. How Rocco Entered Adult Porn

Now, Rocco, as many of our listeners will know, you have a rather big um asset. 11.5 inches if my ass remembers correctly. Is that what pushed you in the direction of adult entertainment or was there something else? Um there's definitely something else and let me clarify. It's it's like ten inches on a good day. You're you're being very generous and I thank you, but I have to be honest Yeah. Well it felt like eleven point five. It's just'cause you're so tight, Tim. Yeah, that's me.

Please repeat the last part of your question. Ha ha ha. Um is that what pushed you in the direction of adult entertainment or was there another reason? It really um and I apologize, I might have told this story the last time, but um I was just working at a really uh awful job in New York. Uh it was it was very stressful. It was making me very unhappy. Um and every time I would get a new job within this field.

It would just the next one would be worse than the one before. So it just got to the point where I'm like, I have to uh I just have to do something else. So I quit my job and I'm like, I will figure this out. And I Had been uh approached by s a few studios in New York s New York City and um leading up to that and I always said no thank you no thank you um but

This like now I'm out of work and in New York City and have expensive rent to pay, et cetera. Um, I reached out to these studios and I'm like, Hey I'm ready. Even though I didn't I wasn't convinced I was, like it really wasn't something I ever wanted to do. Right. I love porn. I watched porn but I never ever saw myself doing it. And um I got put to work, like, kind of immediately and um it just kind of

That summer was I was just turning fifty, so it was like eleven years ago this summer. Um, which by the way I never thought I'd be doing it more than like a year, maybe two. Right. I cannot believe like I'm here eleven years later. Um but Like that summer just kind of blew up and I just got in like asked by every studio. Um I flew to uh Barcelona to shoot with uh Timtales, uh Sadly Tim is no longer with us. This amazing guy, amazing guy. Um but anyway, like that put me on the map. Like

all of all the stuff leading up to Tim Tails and then I filmed five scenes in five days with Tim um not with Tim, but with Tim Tails and um that really kind of put me on the map. So Started out, I went into it because I had to quit my job and I had to find income. I stayed in it because it blew up and the money was just really good and I was like, Well, I'm just gonna keep following this You know, and milking it as long as I can milk it, so to speak.

Diverse Scenes and Porn Preferences

Um why not? Absolutely. Ha ha ha ha. Um, so do you think because of your dick size that there's a perception that you're always gonna be the top? Um I'd say most of the time, but I just had a guy from Australia um I don't know if it's the same guy you mentioned earlier, um Yeah. And he was asking me,'cause we're gonna collab. We've we collabed when I was there six years ago. Yeah. So people do ask, um, but You know, I I don't. So um it's very rare that somebody will ask. Could if I would bottom.

Do you do you kinda get the the um uh for lack of a better word, I guess, like the top whisperers, the ones that are like, Oh yeah, I wanna top them because they're a top. Oh yeah, there's that too. Like there's a couple guys in my like in my past in the past few years that have you know, been very kind of like dumb and like, Yeah, I wanna fuck your ass. I'm like, Well, it's not happening. They're like, Yeah it will. Yeah it will Yeah.

I'm glad you're so confident but like I know myself and it's not Uh I have nothing against uh The act of bottoming. I appreciate all the bottoms in the world, of course. It's just never been. It's just never been for me. I've never enjoyed it. Uh I've done it a few times in my life and every time I'm like cringing and I'm like, take it out, take it out, take it out. Um, is there something that you've always wanted to do in porn, but you've never had the opportunity to do it?

Um, I don't really think so. Or as I like to call it the fuck it list. I'm not going to last. Ha ha. I feel like I've done everything. You know, here's the one thing I wish in the years that I was doing the p s the type of porn that was getting the most exposure, like the studio porn. I wish my I had more diverse scene partners.

Because the st the studios back then and still, still I still see it, they'll like some of the big studios in the United States will You'll see like a promotion or a trailer or whatever for their latest whatever group big production, and it's all all white dudes. Like, so you know, which was the case whenever I filmed pretty much with any studio in in the United States. Um so I think that would be the only kind of thing I wish I could have done differently. And um sadly, I wasn't in control. Um

I wasn't doing the casting. I mean, I'm in control now who I can film with and thankfully because of OnlyFans, I've been able to be my more diverse as much as I can. Like When I travel someplace and especially like when I was living in North Africa and going to Barcelona You know, you had a lot of Spanish guys, but not a lot of diversity beyond that. So it's it's hard. So you're kind of for me, I didn't I don't have as much access to diverse scene partners.

um as I as I would like to, but at least it's better than what it was when I f you know was doing studio porn. Ah, fair enough. And you were saying before that you like to watch porn. Is that still the case now? Um I don't really like to watch produced stuff. Right. Um I do have access to like, you know, on only on just for fans, for example, there's a thing where you can

you have like friends and you can see their um page and they can see your page in return. So I have there's some guys and that's my go to like but I'll like like just scroll through a lot of a lot of videos that just don't do it for me. But then I'll hit one where it feels authentic. It doesn't feel like, you know Uh there's a cameraman. Like there is one yesterday. Oh gosh, I'm giving it away. Yes, I jerked off yesterday.

Yes. There was one yesterday. Uh The guy is like moving aro I don't know if there's like a big mirror in the room, but he's just you just see the camera guy moving through the whole thing and it just takes you out of it, right? Ha ha ha. Like that's why I keep going back to like the early days of OnlyFans. Like it to me always felt more raw, more real, more authentic.

So that's the kind of stuff I like to watch now. I also A lot of times I'll just like go on chatterbait or cam four and just watch like a guy like Shoving a dildo up his ass or um Yeah. Absolutely you can. We can talk about anything like that on this show. Do you know what you're on? What do I watch? No. I mean I I have by default, like If I'm going to look up something like Uh

When did I film with this person? I'll click on the video and I'll watch a couple of minutes of it. But I just don't it doesn't do anything for me. Can I just say I went to hook up with someone and he spent most of the time talking about his OnlyFans and showing me his videos than having sex? I was amused by the whole thing, but not turned on at all. You should have just put something in his mouth to make him stop talking. No. Yeah. Uh was it a was it a young person? Younger person?

Yeah, they're a bit younger. They're from the OnlyFans Just For Fans generation and they were very excited and I do give them that, but I did not go there to watch their porn. I could do that from the comfort of my own home. Yeah, yeah. Yeah.

Rocco's Hobbies and Free Time

Yeah, that's Yeah. And outside of porn Rocco, what do you like to do in your free time? Generally like I like I go to the gym. I don't really love the gym, but I go to the gym. Ha ha ha. Every day. I take my dog to the park. I kinda have like a real leisurely life right now. Like I don't and I don't necessarily know what to do with myself a lot of the times'cause I have so much time on my hands now that I'm in Taiwan and it's not as easy uh to travel

Um, I shouldn't say that. It's very easy to travel all around Southeast Asia and East Asia and um etc. But It's not easy to get back to the States. It's not easy to get to Europe. Um I'm not traveling as much in between and uh so I'm here and trying to find things to do and try to creating trying to create my new life in Taiwan, uh, which is only for like another two plus years. We've already been here almost a year, so But I do like yeah, I like to travel.

Um I skied a couple of times this summer or this winter in Japan. I was gonna say you can't ski in Taiwan. Yeah, I know. I uh I took up painting, uh started painting uh when COVID hit and and then kind of evolved from kind of like an abstract, kind of geometric kind of shapes thing to now I w I've for the last couple of years just do portraits. Fantastic. So I took uh I took painting classes like about four days a week in Algeria. I found this really cool out lesbian

art teacher uh who taught me who would teach me how how to paint for like four days a week. Uh it was close to where I lived and it was just really awesome. I learned so much. in that time. So uh I still consider myself like a beginner painter, but um I love it and it's my escape. And uh yeah, so you know, I love to cook. Um 我这颗 Oh gosh. I can cook anything really. Like I went to there was a period of my life. when I left I left my law'cause, you know, I was I went to law school and Yes.

Like working working at law firms in New York City, like the early nineties, and then about the mid nineties. The big uh food network uh started in the United States. So everybody was like a foodie, right? And everybody was obsessed with food shows and cook I'm sorry, cooking shows. So I went to I decided in the height of all that I went to the French Culinary Institute in New York City.

to learn how to cook. I mean I've always known how to cook from since I was a kid. Like I grew up Italian American and learned how to make a pot of sauce when I was like twelve. So yeah, so I know how to I I c I could cook, you know, French food, which I don't really it's not my go to. But um Italian American, I love to cook'cause I grew up with it. Um I can cook uh Indian I can cook Sri Lankan, I can cook uh Thai. Yeah, you're definitely at the bottom. You definitely don't bottom, yeah.

You can bottom with any food, you just have to do it right. That's true. That's true. Some are easier than others. That's right. Not Mexican putting. No. Maybe we need to draw a line there. Live Adult Entertainment Dynamics

You're listening to the Sexperts here on Joy94.9. It is Tim and Craig here with you, and we are talking to the wonderful Rocco Steele, all about things adult entertainment. So Rocco, we just talked a lot about um your porn career, but porn is one thing um and adult entertainment is another. How do you see the difference between the two? I mean adult entertainment to m to me is kind of all encompassing.

But it also includes You know, uh stage shows and um I don't really know what else, but like I guess only fans and just for fans, which I guess is still kinda poor on the bit. Still still kind of porn, but um yeah, but I just think you know it porn addresses kind of to me or implies, you know, on camera production, whatever for the masses whereas adult entertainment can mean more than that. Like like I said, uh sh a show, performances, I don't think.

I guess one of the things about adult entertainment and being on stage, it's a little bit more spontaneous. You have a little bit less direction that you w would say have on the camera. and perhaps a bit more interaction one would think. Yeah, I mean historically For l most of my performances uh I kind of have to just go out there and

I'm not a dan like I'm not a go go dancer, so like I don't dance on stage, but like, you know, you move around, you have to engage with the audience and give them a show, right? Um On the flip side, uh or in contrast, this uh gig I'm doing in Australia is going to uh They've been working very hard at it and it's uh there's actually a little bit more I shouldn't say choreography. It's not like a dance.

But it's choreographed in the sense of like I kinda know what I'm doing at point of the of the performance. which I like. I don't really like having to go out there and like wing it every time, right? Or like count on the energy of the crowd. Like the crowd in those situations, if the crowd was really like you know, actively engaged. then that really makes my show. But if they're not and I and I've been to places around the world where they're just kind of like they

they d they kind of stand back a little from the stage and they're kind of like a little nervous and I'm just like, Oh god, you know, how am I gonna get through this and make it interesting? So anyway, like I said, um My shows in Australia will be uh It's gonna be it's they're gonna be amazing. It's it's a big surprise and uh it's it's just gonna be really good. The guys have just been working for months on it.

So Rocco, you came down under six years ago for thick and juicy and you are coming down here again for the tour. Now, I don't know if you recognized this when you came to visit, but when you did your show, which I was grateful to be a part of. The audience in Melbourne was not very familiar with live sex shows. It's not a very common thing here in Australia. And that's because in some states they have

very strict rules about uh seeing genitalia on stage and sex on stage. And Melbourne liberal than, say, Sydney. Did you expect that when you came down last time? Um I mean I was told in advance that, you know, we can do this here and we can do this here, but we can't do it here and here. Yes. Um

For example, I think in Brisbane last time we were at like a sex club or a a bathhouse or something. I can't remember. So we could get away with it there. Uh and then in obviously in Melbourne, um You know, we had quite a production I think at one stage you suggested we do like a trapeze act. It yeah. It was very that. It was very that I

I uh I was showing the picture to somebody recently. I think it another promoter that I'm booking a party for um in the States and I was showing him like what kind of different things I've done on stage and I show him the pictures of the Melbourne Thick and juicy event. And he's like, Oh my God, was that a lazy Susan on stage? 'Cause remember like it was like this round thing and I think we I had several bottoms like Uh huh. Ha ha ha. It was uh it was really A very interesting setup.

야, 야. I don't know if you remembered this, but when we went to do the performance,'cause I was in the pre show entertainment with another guy. And we had about three hours between each of the sections, so we all went home and kind of tidied ourselves and got ready for the performance. But you know, when you do all that kind of thing, things tend to shrink. in the process. And I do recall you very Was very, very lovely what you said. You said, I'm really, really sorry this is going to hurt.

Because yeah, it was a little bit tight down there. Yeah. So oh'cause you're saying that we were we were Uh, you're doing stuff at the pre party. Yes. And yes, and then yeah, it's it's that kind of when you go back and revisit it is when is when it's really painful. Yeah. Yeah. But it was Uh Ha ha. If you don't stop you never have to get ready, right? Yeah. Ha ha exactly. Ha ha ha.

Tour Surprises and Consent

Um so Brocco, we uh we talked earlier about uh what got you into porn. Um what got you into doing stage performances? It was just kind of like what people did. I mean When I first started I um My very first event that I had ever went to when I first started in the industry was Hust Hustle Ball in New York City.

I was too new and they had already casted like the entire show so I wasn't part of it. But I was backstage'cause I knew f had friends who were performing and And it just looked fun and the audience was, you know, really excited and everything so I was like, Oh, I could do that in the future and then I my very fur after I did it for the very first time and kinda got over that whatever initial initial fear, awkwardness or whatever of being up naked in front of, you know

hundreds or thousands of people, uh, then it just became something that for the next several years that I just I did regularly. And you're coming down under again for thick and juicy. So the tour you said is Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, is that right? That's correct. Yes. Fantastic. Yeah. Friday Melbourne, Saturday Sydney, Sunday Brisbane. Great. And what kind of surprises, if you can let us in on any secrets, do you have in store for the tour?

It's going to be very fitting for Easter weekend, is pretty much all I can say. You're gonna hide your egg somewhere? Oh yeah. Many places. Thank you. Yeah. That's so funny. No, but like um we're really taking advantage of kind of like it being Easter weekend and what kind of Easter represents to different people and and kind of like the themes that are associated with Don't worry, there's not gonna be any crucifixion. Ha ha ha. But someone's gonna get nailed.

And who knows, three days later they might come again. Oh that's good. Ha ha ha ha. What are you looking most forward to? I... I know they're I know you're probably gonna be like, Yeah, right, Rocco, but like I don't always enjoy Every like Gig I do. I mean I enjoyed most of them or I wouldn't do them. But for the last year, uh I had a health scare. Uh I kind of stopped I kind of stopped doing everything. So this is the first time in over a year that I'm doing any kind of show. Um but

In the past, like, you know, you kinda go on stage, you do your thing, and maybe there's like a meet and greet for a few minutes afterwards or whatever. And then I just wanna go home. But I love like I really love thick and juicy parties. I remember every single location last time just really um Being engaged with the audience after the performance, like going out into the audience and just having

Or not even the audience, the crowd at that point, right? So like just going out and being part of the party. I just I love the vibe of a thick and juicy event because it just is very inclusive. Um you know, everybody's invited, everybody should have fun and there's no judgment. Um and it really kind of you feel that. You feel that and everybody's having a good time and everybody's being themselves and uh

There's not like there's no attitude. Um which I've experienced at you know, I've done like circuit things around the world. I've been hired to and it just I go out into the crowd and I'm just like oh I just don't connect. Yeah. How do you manage people and consent? How do I manage that? Yeah. You know, a at every single gig there's always one or two people that have had too much of something, right? Yeah. And they just push the boundaries. And I like I'm very direct. I'm a New Yorker.

I'm very direct and I'm just like I'll grab people's hand and I'm like, don't do that. You know. Right. not cool. And um like if I if I want you to If you ask. That's a different thing. But I'll walk through the crowd in some places and people will fucking like tweak my nipples really hard. Literally like if I'm wearing a jot's jet like stick their finger up my butt and I'm like like you don't do that with me. No, no.

the Yeah, I'll jump through the roof. But like, you know, I'm still gracious about it. Bye. I don't I don't want anybody to feel horrible and ruin their night because they made a bad decision. But it happens from time to time and I just basically set the boundary and tell people whatever and you know, it's not cool and

Rocco's Online Presence and Farewell

Absolutely. And are you doing any VIP sections this time? Yeah, actually uh there will be a VIP uh meet and greet uh before each show uh in each city. And uh yeah, and if you want information on that you can go to the website. At the juicy events dot com dot AU I think. Fantastic. Oh, that's very exciting. And where can people go to find out all about Rocco Steel if they don't know already, which they must be living under a rock? ダダダダダ Uh We're all with the dead joke. Yeah. So I uh Oh.

Mainly on on Twitter I won't say X. I'm on Twitter. And it's still at Rocco Steel NY. Uh, I got suspended from Instagram, but then I started a new account. So probably the last time I was down under I had a different account, but now it's at steal your daddy. Um and that's really that's really it. I'm not a I'm not a TikToker. So I don't have one of those accounts. Oh you know, like you know, if somebody wants to uh am I allowed to mention the site?

Yeah. Oh, so if somebody wants to watch my content they can go to uh onlyfans.com backslash rock o'steel nyc or just for fans uh Same thing. Uh just four dot fans backslash rockless steel and white. Fantastic. Well, Rocco still we are very excited to have you back down under. Yeah, I'm very excited. Uh I'm uh I'm already like organizing for packing. I haven't started packing, but I'm doing the organizing.

Um and generally if I'm not looking forward to a trip like it's painful like to even get me to pack like the morning of my flight or something. But like I'm very excited. Very excited to come back. Um I'm not gonna have a subway sandwich at Sydney Harbor because I got very sick off of one the last time I was there. On the day I flew home it was awful. I had to get on a plane with food poison. Oh no way. Yes. I'm gonna stay away from the subway sandwiches at the same time. Sydney RP.

See that's your mistake you should eat Aussie food Rocco. Ha ha ha. What is Aussie food? Uh, we kind of steal cuisines'cause chicken parma is a big thing here in Melbourne, or chicken parmigiana, but we know that that's kind of Italian as well. Uh but steaks and things like that. But we have lots of veg here. Ha ha. Unlike in America, I think it's just chips. Yeah. Cheers. I don't know if you've heard of a uh A restaurant in the in the States called Outback Steakhouse. Yeah. Uh-huh.

Yeah. Yep. It is nothing like the food here. So I was doing a scene with Skippy Baxter. Oh yes. I know Skippy very well. Very sweet guy. Anyway, he um and I went to dinner one the night after our scene with Raging Stallion and we went to Outback and he's like, There's there's nothing about this that's Australian. Yeah. I'm like, Oh, you don't have bloomin' onions? No No. There was no kangaroo on the menu. That's a bit Aussie. Oh no, there was not kangaroo. We do eat kangaroo here. Oh. Ha ha ha.
