Imagine good Glenn your name and finding your own missing person's page, one that presumes you died after disappearing as an infant. This actually happened to Steve Patterson.
And then I searched my name and found the missing person's.
Report and the next thing he did was call me. He picked up the phone.
I mean, it was just one in a billion, I guess, I said, I don't blame you if you don't believe it, because this sounds crazy, But.
It didn't sound crazy to me. I've been looking for him and another missing boy in Steve's family for decades. Steve calling me out the blue was only the first part of this unbelievable story because right around the time he was born, Steve's birthmon married a serial killer. This man was like a buzzer that circled the whole family, and he kidnapped Steve's sister when she was just six years old, and that's when he took her in. That was last time she was seen.
If I'd have went with him, I wouldn't be here.
We started tracing the wreckage of the serial killer through his blood relatives Steve, but just now discovering at forty nine years old all the Kenny didn't know, like the mother who gave him up, Well did you find Steve? And they said, who's Steve? And sisters who wanted Steve in their lives, Like I'll keep saying that, I just I want to hold them, He's my brother. Together, we'd find out what really happened to his older sister who disappeared.
I had thought he would take care and he just wanted her. I never thought it would be the night Frette.
And we'll hear from the investigators who unraveled the case.
I show a picture of Franklin Floyd and she says, without any hesitation, he stole my daughter, Susie.
Suddenly, Steve had a lot of new people on his birth mother's side, and a lot of heartache too. Was a very big deal.
Changes a person when you find out so many crazy.
Things, and he found common ground with long lost sisters.
She'll tell you like it is too now, she don't should have could anything.
I thought I'd connect Steve with this birth family and be done, but then I fell down a rabbit hole with him.
We're a f theie agents. I said, I've reopened the investigation, and he looked at me and says what I appreciate it, if you'd close it.
