first half of news

Helldivers, good morning Helldivers. This is Rick Bones with GNR 107's Wartime Bulletin. By now you've all had a few days to experience the newest tactical advancements in our ongoing war. The chemical agents war bond officially launched on the 19th and it's already proving to be a game changer out on the front lines. First up, a major victory to celebrate. Trandor has been liberated from the Terminid Infestation. Super Earth Command thanks you for your service.

The 27,000 Helldivers stationed there are already being redeployed to new war fronts, including Pandion 44, where over 15,000 troops are engaged in heavy fighting against the Terminids. Every effort counts as we push back against their growing threat. But it's not all good news. Helldivers, we've taken some hard hits recently. Both Klaasa and Klaurel have fallen to the automatons, forcing our forces to retreat.

Super Earth forces are already regrouping and 540 of our best are being redeployed to Klaasa, while 4,500 others will be working to liberate Klaurel. It's a setback, but you know how we work. We retreat, regroup, and we come back even stronger. Now for some strategic updates. High Command has issued an open license for the Eagle 500 kilograms bomb, a devastating tool that will help tip the scales in the ongoing conflicts.

This comes as part of an expanded arsenal aimed at aiding Helldivers across multiple fronts, from the deserts of Galivar to the ever troublesome Terminid Hives on Peacock. If you're on the ground in those war zones, make sure to requisition the bomb and use it wisely. It's going to make a big difference. As for new campaigns, Peacock is the latest battlefield in need of liberation. Terminids are entrenched, and it's going to take a coordinated effort to break their hold.

All available Helldivers are being called to the fight. This is a mission we cannot afford to lose. Lastly, a quick note for all commanders and squad leaders. We've seen a flurry of reassignments and new strategies unfolding across the galaxy. From defending critical assets on Gatria to the sudden and massive deployments on Pandion Thor Thor, every Helldiver needs to be on their toes. The tide of war is shifting, and the success of Super Earth depends on your quick thinking and bravery.

last weeks news

Super Earth Command has equipped us with some deadly new tools to take down the enemy. And let me tell you, it feels like we're no longer just soldiers. We're Galactic Pest Control. The TX-41 Sterilizer and the AX-TX-13 Guard Dog Dog Breath are already making waves, spraying down hordes of Terminids with corrosive gas. And if they're still standing after that, well, the G-4 gas grenade will clear the room.

Fast. For those of you diving headfirst into the gas clouds, the AFO-2 Hazmaster Armor will keep you breathing easy. And with the new Stem Pistol, you'll be patching up your squadmates without ever breaking formation. And let's not forget, Helldivers, it's not just about firepower. Command's thrown in some fresh armor designs, new emotes, like natural gas extraction, and even a new title for those of you looking to earn the name Expert Exterminator.

So suit up, gear up, and gas up, Helldivers. Chemical Agents is out now. Get back to the front lines and show those bugs why we're the deadliest force in the galaxy. Let's dive right into it. It's been five days since the latest intelligence report came down, and the word on the battlefield is about the changes we've seen in enemy armor and combat effectiveness. From what I've heard, Hulks and gunships aren't the invincible juggernauts they used to be.

Seems like supply chain issues are hitting the enemy hard. Johan, can you break down what's behind these tactical shifts? That's right, Rick. According to the latest intelligence, enemy forces, particularly the automatons, have been suffering from severe supply shortages. Their high-grade armor reserves are depleting, likely due to the relentless pressure we've been putting on their production lines and supply chains.

As a result, they've been forced to deploy their units, like Hulks and gunships, with lighter armor to maintain their presence on the battlefield. This isn't so much a tactical decision as it is a necessity on their part, and it's something our Helldivers have been quick to exploit. So it's not just that we've upped our firepower, it's the fact that the enemy is struggling to maintain their defensive capabilities.

Exactly, the intelligence update gave us the insight we needed to adjust our strategies. While we've refined our weapons systems, the real shift has been in how we're adapting to the enemy's weaknesses. With their lighter armor, weapons like the autocannon, heavy machine gun, and antimaterial rifle have become more effective, and our Helldivers are leveraging this opportunity. Even flamethrower units, which have seen improvements, are now more impactful in this current phase of the war.

But make no mistake, this is a temporary advantage. The enemy is resilient, and we know they're working to shore up their defenses. Now, looking ahead to our very own Penny Lively, we'll be providing a tech update with some critical fixes and new information. Key improvements include a rework of the SH-32 Shield Generator Pack, which was mistakenly distributed to some of you. Don't get too attached to those, they're reserved for high-ranking officers.

She'll also cover a number of audio malfunctions and ongoing issues, including large enemy units sneaking up on Helldivers without audio cues and other known bugs within the Helldivers' helmets. You won't want to miss her update, as it'll help keep you informed and ready for the battlefield. And that's all for this morning.

Lastly, a quick reminder from Super Earth High Command, an evaluation of our Helldiver Force readiness is currently underway, with the goal of increasing the total number of liberated planets. We're in an all-out war on both the automaton and Terminant fronts, and every planet counts. Prioritize your targets, and remember, your strategic expertise will determine the success of this mission. Make sure to be on the lookout for the tech update coming later this week from Penny.

Also, don't forget to check out the TNT Squad. That's all for this Sunday morning. Stay vigilant, stay deadly, and remember, for Super Earth, this was Rick Bones, signing off.
