In 2015 an investigation was launched as former Captain in the British Army and mother of 2, Scottish born Victoria Cilliers parachute and emergency parachute failed to deploy during a simple jump. The odds of a main parachute failing are 1 in every 750 but the odds of the backup failing are 1 in a million. So was Victoria just extremally unlucky or was there foul play at hand.
